I had no ideas for this, but I needed a break from my other writing, so here I am. Raredforever was the one who requested it. 

Also, sorry if it's not great, I don't ship it. 

Requierments were: 

Body swap AU 

Elwin tampers with the locks on the lockers at Foxfire, to make you switch bodies with your soulmate. 

(I changed it a little, but that's how I planned it. Hope that's ok) 

So... story. 

Fitz walked to his locker, ignoring everyone screaming and acting like idiots. He figured that there was some new celebrity. He didn't really care. If it was important, Sophie would tell him about it. 

"FITZ HELP!!!" Tam screamed, running up to him. Ok, this was weird. Tam never acted like this. 

"What do you want Tam?" He asked. 

"It's not Tam! It's Biana! I tried to open my locker, and I was in Tam's body!" 

"Yeah, right. This is some sort of prank, isn't it?" 

"No, it's not! I don't know what happened!" 

"Yeah, right." 

"There you are," Biana said, appearing out of nowhere. "I'd like you to please give my body back." 

"YOU'RE IN MY BODY!!!" Tam screamed. 

"And you're in mine! You are Biana, right?" 

"Yes. Are you Tam?" 

"Yes. So we switched bodies?" 

"Seriously, this prank isn't funny. You guys can drop the act," Fitz said.

"This isn't a prank! Everyone at Foxfire is switching bodies with another person. I don't know what's happening!" Tam said. 

"FITZ HELP, I'M IN SOPHIE'S BODY!!!" Sophie screamed, running up to join everyone else. 

"Seriously, Sophie? You're in on this too?" Fitz said, exasperated. His friends didn't know when to stop the jokes. 

"No, it's me! Keefe!" 

"Come on. I don't buy it." That's when he saw Keefe running down the hallway to join them. 

"KEEFE, KEEFE, KEEFE!!! I'M IN YOUR BODY!!!!!" Keefe screamed. 

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAIR?!?!" Sophie screeched. She ran over to fix his hair. The best part was when she had to try to pull his shoulders down so she could fix the top. "Gah! Sophie, why do you have to be so short?" 

"It's not my fault!" 

"Seriously, everyone, stop pretending. Nothing is happening," Fitz complained. 

"I can prove it," Keefe said. "I'm your cognate in Sophie's body. Ask me something only I would know." 

"Ok, what was the first secret I told you when we started cognate training?" 

"You told me about Mr. Snuggles," she replied. As far as Fitz knew, Sophie hadn't told anyone about that. Everyone only found out when they all went to join the Black Swan. 

"Ok, looks like this thing is real. Quick question, why did everyone seem to think that I could fix it?" Everyone unanimousy shrugged. "So how did it happen?" 

"I licked my locker, like usual, then a few minutes later, I was in Biana's body," Biana- Tam said. 

"Huh. It happened right away for me," Biana said. 

"So this probably isn't random," Fitz deducted. "The swap happened once both of you licked your lockers." 

"Maybe it means we're soulmates?" Biana tried, looking at Tam, who was in her body. Fitz knew she had liked Tam for the longest time. Sophie and Keefe looked at each other, and both turned bright red. 

"Have you licked your locker?" Sophie asked, changing the subject. 

"No," he responded. 

"Well what are you waiting for? Lick it!" 

"Fine." He turned around, and licked his locker. 

He was about to turn around and tell everyone it hadn't worked, when he noticed that he was in a completely different part of school. But whose body was he in? He ran to the nearest bathroom, and looked in a mirror. 

Fitz gasped. In the mirror, he saw strawberry blonde hair and periwinkle eyes. He was in Dex's body.

Dex almost walked right into Sophie. 

"What's going on? You weren't there a second ago." He looked around, and saw a crowd of all his friends gathered around him. "Did all of you suddenly manifest as vanishers?" 

"No, but everybody's swapping bodies," Keefe said. "I'm really Sophie, and Keefe is in my body." 

"And I'm Biana. Tam is in my body," Tam- or Biana- said. 

"Wait, so whose body am I in?" Dex asked. 

"You're in Fitz's body," Biana, in Tam's body, said. 

"What?! Wait, what day is it?" 

"I dunno," Sophie, in Keefe's body, said. 

"Tuesday," Keefe, in Sophie's body, replied. 

"Crap. That means... me and Fitz are soulmates." 

"Back the T-Rex up," Keefe, in Sophie's body, said. "How do we know we switched with our soulmates?" 

"I helped Elwin develop the elixir that did it! He wanted to put it on our lockers, I just didn't realize it would be today!"

"Ok, so how do we switch back?" Tam, in Biana's body, asked. Dex turned red, and mumbled something. 

"What was that?" Keefe, in Sophie's body, asked. 

"You have to kiss them." 

"WHAT?!" Sophie, in Keefe's body, practically screamed. 

"It doesn't have to be anything big! Just a peck." 

"Wanna try it Foster?" Keefe asked. Sophie got even redder, if that was even possible, and walked over to Keefe. 

Sophie quickly gave Keefe a short kiss, and backed away. A second later, they both sighed, relieved to be back in their own bodies. Sophie, back in her own body now, mumbled something about needing to talk to Keefe, and dragged him away by the wrist. 

Biana and Tam did about the same thing, but managed to have less blushing. 

Now, Dex needed to find Fitz. Ok, where was he before he switched? Walking towards orientation? No, he was heading to the alchemy lab. Because there was a project he needed to check on. He started running towards that area. 

"Fitz!" He shouted, when he saw his body walking out of the bathroom. 

"Dex? Is that you?" 

"Yes. And I know how we switched bodies!" 

"How?" Dex couldn't seem to spit it out. So he gave up on words. He was taller than usual since he was in Fitz's body. 

So he leaned down and kissed Fitz. 

"Wha- what was that?!" 

"You're in your own body now," Dex pointed out. "The way that we switched was... with our soulmates. I helped Elwin develop the elixir that did it." 

"So... we're soulmates?" 

"Yup." Now Fitz was the speechless one. So he just leaned down and kissed Dex again. 

When they both broke away, they smiled. And silently, they both seemed to agree that they were dating now. So they joined hands while walking to orientation. 

In orientation, Magnate Leto explained to the school that the person everyone had switched with was their soulmate, and they could switch back by kissing. 

Everyone in the room seemed to look at the person sitting next to them, and hesitantly kissed each other. The gasp traveling around the room was proof enough that everyone was switching back. 

Dex gave Fitz another quick kiss, even though they had already switched back. They both smiled, happy that they knew the other one was their soulmate.
