Thanatos Part 1
Honestly, I like the character concept I've made for Thanatos. Out of all the characters I've made, he's one of my favourites. So here's a oneshot of our favorite death god. Besides Hades of course.
No POV
"THANATOS!"
The god of death's head shot up from where he was standing. Hades mustn't be in a good mood he thought. Spreading his wings, he took to the sky, and flew across Asphodel to the palace of Hades.
Hades was waiting all right. He stood, arms crossed outside the palace. Thanatos landed gracefully, and knelt before his boss.
"No need for formalities." Hades said coldly. Thanatos stood up.
"What is it my king?" The god asked.
"Well, I thought another soul was about to join us, when it disappeared. Do you know anything about this?" The ghost King asked.
Thanatos thought. "You'll have to be more specific. There are lots of souls."
"The Hermit!" Hades snarled. "My son's friend."
"Oh him." Thanatos gulped, remembering how he let Wither bring him back to life. "Grian."
Hades sighed. "Is there anything in that brain of yours? Yes him."
"What about him?" Thanatos shuffled his feet nervously.
Hades beckoned to a skeleton beside him. "Well, I went to check on his spirit after I felt the disturbance, and I found this instead."
The skeleton brought out a cow, with a red shirt on. Thanatos burst out laughing.
"It's not funny!" Hades snapped.
"What's going on?" Wither stepped outside. He was in normal halfhel form, with dark grey robes on.
"Your dad thinks this is Grian." Thanatos gestures to the cow. Wither laughed.
"STOP LAUGHING." Ultraviolet red light surrounded Hades. "A SPIRIT HAS ESCAPED AND I NEED TO KNOW WHO DID IT, AND WHEN I FIND THEM THEY WILL DIE SLOWLY AND-"
"I did it." Wither cut him off.
The light died. Hades walked closer to his son. "Why?"
The halfhel shrugged. "You said I could do it once, for anybody I wanted."
Hades frowned. "Yes, but I thought you would do somebody important."
"Grian is important." Wither snapped.
"More important than a certain Hermit?" Thanatos asked. Wither reddened a bit.
"What are you talking about?" He asked.
Thanatos grinned. "You've been hanging around a certain Hermit a lot, who's name is Xi-"
"Anyways." Wither stopped me. "Why is it so important dad? He's alive, so what?"
Hades paced in front of his lieutenant and his son. "I want to know why you did it. And not by you telling me." Wither closed his mouth.
"I want you to bring Grian down here, so I can meet him."

Wither POV
"So what are we going to do?" I asked Thanatos. Hades had left for Olympus, leaving the two of us alone. Thanatos now had himself draped across my dad's throne, lounging in the dim light of the underworld.
He shrugged. "I don't know. It's your problem."
I sighed. "Yes, but it's yours too. When he finds out you let me bring him back, it's your head on the line."
He shoved the rubix cube that he'd been fiddling with in his pocket and stood up. "Well, then it's simple. We bring him down here."
I slapped him. "I know that, but how? I can't just go up to Grian and say 'I'm bringing you to the underworld to meet Hades.' He won't go for it."
Thanatos stepped closer to me. "I know that. But if you, accidentally, bring him here."
I frowned. "How do you accidentally go to Hel?"
The god of death grinned. "Pretend you're bringing him to Wattpad, but actually come down here. Say Hades tampered with the portal. Then I'll come, the knight in shining armour, and bring you here."
"Brilliant." We high fived. "How do you come up with these plans?
Thanatos just shrugged. "What can I say? I'm clever as the devil, and twice as pretty."
"I'm gonna quote you on that."
"You'd better."

So a plan is in motion to bring Grian to the underworld. Good luck on that.
Okay byeee!
