Hey guys! I actually published something! Before you begin reading, I'd like to recognize a few people who helped me in the making of this fanfic! For once in his life, Nagisa Hazuki was silent. They were surrounded in darkness and frozen in silence and time while the rest of the world went on right outside of the the awkward meeting in Haruka's Nanase's closet, in inconspicuous murmurs and chuckles. Unbeknownst to the blue-haired male sitting directly in front of him, their feet practically touching, Nagisa was panicking, big time.  Sweat was slowly starting to drip down from his face to his neck, which was then beginning to trickle its way down his back. Even if he hadn't realized it at the time, the blonde breaststroker had loved Rei-chan the instant he met him! The handsome butterflyer's intelligence,  confidence that got the best of him,  and attraction to beauty and calculations caught Nagisa's attention immediately, which caused him to beg Rei to join the Iwatobi Swim Team. To hopefully alleviate the awkwardness of the closet situation, Nagisa plastered a fake, encouraging smile across his face, hoping to hide the fact that he was at a complete loss for words.  

Rei Ryuguzakai had no idea what to do. After all those calculations, never did he imagine this would happen. He himself was still confused as to how this had come to occur. And of course, it was absolutely, positively NOT beautiful being trapped in this suffocating closet, being forced to tell his crush how he felt. Of all places? A closet? Rei would have preferred to confess anywhere but! This was hands down the most awkward and embarrassing situation Rei had ever found himself in, not to mention how these seven minutes seemed to span seven thousand years!  He swallowed hard. Might as well get it over with, he thought, and made an attempt at trying to compose himself. 

"N-Nagisa-chan?" Rei asked nervously.

"What is it, Rei-chan?
"I-I may be in love with you!"

"Everyone!" Gou-chan called. "Put your chosen items in this bag!"
The gang, including the Samezuka crew, had all come over to Haru's house for a party,  htough it was mainly just to hang out and see each other.
As a party game, everyone had voted for 7 Minutes in Heaven, as suggested enthusiastically by Nagisa!

"Who wants to go first?" Gou held the bag out. "Makoto?"
Makoto shook his head, olive locks flopping back and forth. He had always been a 'fraidy cat!
"Oh! Me me me!!" Nagisa leaned forward and waved his hand madly.
"Ok! Have a go Nagi-chan!" Gou cheerfully held the bag out.
 "No looking!" Gou glared as the blond boy tried to sneak a peek.
"Aww, you're no fun, Gou-chan!!"
He went on to fish out a familiar pair of red, rectangular glasses.
Nagisa immediately tried to shove the glasses back in the bag, but Gou's watchful eye caught him in the act.
"Rei and Nagisa, you're up!"

"I-I may be in love with you!"
There was a moment of silence, and then, " I like you too, Rei- chan. I have for a long time!"
"N-Nagisa!?" The blue-haired male felt his face heating up as his lover reached for him.
"Will you- will you be with me? Rei-chan?"
Rei could feel the soft puffs of Nagi's breath on his cheek.
"Rei?"
"Yes. Yes! Nagi I-"
The blonde tackled Rei to floor and pressed his lips to Rei's, their lips beginning to  move in sync.
Just as Nagisa was reaching for Rei's shirt, the door was thrown open and light streamed through, illuminating the new couple.
"Looks like your seven minutes are up boys!" Gou giggled, her cheeks colored pink, a camera in hand.

Nagisa and Rei exited the closet, hand in hand, utterly embarrassed, but also relieved and joyful that their dilemma was solved, and because of that, they were officially a couple. 

 "You guys look like you had fun," Haru commented in his regular monotone voice,  hand already in the bag, Gou's eyes glued to him,  mouthing and chanting 'Rin' over and over again.  

Both boys started blushing, and quickly looked away from each other, Rei adjusting his glasses nervously while Nagisa fixed his eyes on a rather interesting painting of Mt. Fuji. 

"I knew I called it!" Makoto laughed, his wide, easy going smile spread across his face as he held up a five dollar bill, apparently exchanged between him and Haru.  

At that moment, Haru pulled out a small shark key chain from the bag, and Gou looked like she was going to burst from excitement! 
To a surprised Rin and straight-faced Haru she said, "Alright, you two! In the closet!"
