I Need You (Ibuty)

I Need You- An Ibuty Oneshot

Because screw you, that's why.
Also, this is in the universe where the Dangansquad OCs exist along with the canon characters. Ibuty was legit guys.

Ty sat silently on his bed, trying and failing to think of anything except for what had happened on that day. Yet, no matter what, he couldn't steer his memory away from the words that were said.

"We don't need you here right now."

Sure, it was kind-spirited, but those words hurt. The thought of his friends not needing him was too much to bear. He relied on them to keep him company. He needed others with him for companionship. Thinking of them not wanting him was horrible. It made him feel like a toy that had been thrown away- a dog left on the street. He wanted his friends desperately, but they didn't want him.

Still wallowing in his own self-hatred, Ty glanced to his dormitory door as he heard a quick knock.

"Wh-wh-who is it?"

"It's Ibuki, Ty-chan~!" Ty couldn't help but give a small smile as he heard a familiar, friendly voice. Somebody remembered him. Somebody cared. And the lively voice calling out his name made him even happier.

"Oh, I-Ib-Ibuki! Come on i-in!" Ibuki skipped into the room and jumped onto Ty's bed, right next to him. She had a wide grin on her face, just as always.

"How are youuuuuu?" She said cheerily. She clearly didn't notice the gloomy atmosphere in Ty's room.

"Oh, uh... F-fine?" Ty said, not at all convincingly.

"Really? Because Ibuki doesn't think Ty-chan looks so happy!" Ibuki said, tilting her head. Ty sighed, not wanting to dump all this on someone else, but knowing he had to vent too or else his feelings would build up.

"I... I've been f-f-feeling unwanted... L-like nobody needs me... Th-there was a p-p-project today, and--" Ty stopped as he felt Ibuki lean against his shoulder. Neither of the two spoke.

"Ty-chan, you shouldn't say that about yourself." Ibuki said surprisingly quietly.

"I know, b-b-but I can't stop thi-th-thinking about it..." Ty fought back his tears, wiping his eyes with his baggy hoodie sleeve.

"Then Ibuki can give you something else to think about instead!" Ibuki said perkily, smiling.

"Wh-what do you mean?" Ty looked at Ibuki with uncertainty in his eyes.

"Just think that there are people out there who care about you! People who wouldn't want you to be sad, Ty-chan~!" She said loudly.

"Yeah? L-l-like who...?" Ty asked, surprised by Ibuki's words.

"Like Ibuki, silly!" Ibuki laughed, thinking as though it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Y-you don't mean that..." Ty scratched the back of his neck.

"Of course Ibuki does! Why else would she say it if Ibuki doesn't care about you?" Ibuki asked, still leaning against Ty. He didn't reply; he knew Ibuki was right. At least somebody cared. Somebody wanted him to be happy.

Ty started crying. But it wasn't sad tears; they were tears of joy. Somebody actually cared. Someone cared about him, and if he was okay.

"You say that nobody needs you, but that's not right! Ibuki needs you, Ty-chan! Ibuki cares about you, and Ibuki loves you because you're Ibuki's friend!" Ibuki planted a small kiss on Ty's cheek, and he couldn't help but smile. He hugged Ibuki in what was probably the tightest hug known to mankind.

"Thank you, Ibuki..." He said, more gleeful than he had ever been. Somebody cared. He wasn't alone. He had someone to help him through.

Short but sweet, don't you agree? After I wrote Ty's death a few days ago I probably needed to write something happy. I'm pretty proud of this one. It's adorable. Please leave any criticisms in the comments- I really want to improve my writing- so... um...
