The Creativitwins
"Roman, no! Get back here!" Patton shouts.
Roman crashes through the hallway, chasing after Remus. Patton was getting a little tired of running after them to make them stop trying to hurt each other.
"Never! He is a villain that I must defeat!" Roman screeches, drawing his sword.
"Oh no," Patton mumbles.
Through the chase, Remus knocks over something on the table. Patton stops to pick it up.
"Both of you stop it!" Patton shouts.
They did not, in fact, stop it.
"You'll never catch meeee!" Remus yells, "I have the power of god and anime on my side!"
"I have the power of Disney and my katana!" Roman shouts back.
"Both of you shut up! I'm trying to sleep!" Anxiety shouts from his room.
"A likely story!" Roman shouts.
"Your katana is weak and Disney is for kids!" Remus shouts.
Both of them are kids.
"You dare insult the name of Disney!?"
As the two halves of creativity rush to the imagination, Patton goes over to Logan's room. He knocks. Logan opens his door and says,
"Can you get the two of them to be quiet? It is 2 AM and I am trying to sleep,"
"I need your help. They stopped listening to me a year ago," Patton says.
Logan sighs and rubs the bridge of his nose. He briefly goes back to his room and comes back with his glasses. They walk to the imagination, where Remus and Roman seem to be having a battle. This isn't the first time either.
"Both of you stop before-" Patton starts to say.
He is cut off by the shrieking of Roman as Remus sends a literal wave of rats towards him.
"That is enough," Logan says.
They both stop and look at him. Roman sheaths his sword but Remus still holds his mace.
"You're not our mom, you can't tell me what to do!" He says.
"I dunno, he looks like he could-" Roman says.
"Tear us to shreds and then put the bits into a meat grinder?" Remus suggests.
Logan glares at them both.
"Maybe," Roman mumbles.
"Go to your rooms," Logan orders, "Now,"
Roman takes a step but Remus just sticks out his tongue.
"Giving up that easily, brother?" He says.
Roman steps back to his brother and draws his sword once more.
"I challenge you to a duel, my evil brother," He says.
"I accept. Although I prefer 'demented' over 'evil'," Remus says.
"Deal,"
They start to clash, and Patton holds back a groan.
"Well well, what do we have here? The mother and father can take care of the twins?" Deceit says.
Patton and Logan turn around and see the snake figure standing in the doorway, picking at his nails.
"I am not their mother-" Logan protests.
Deceit holds up his hand, stopping him. The twins continue to clash in the background.
"I can't handle this," Deceit says, walking up to the twins.
"I will defeat you, you demented beast!" Roman shouts.
"Not if I defeat you first, you ugly cow!" Remus shouts back.
"Both of you stop it and go to bed. If you do this again you will be grounded," Deceit says.
The twins both stop this time. They put away their weapons and head off to bed. Somewhere in his room, Anxiety lets out a sigh of relief.
"How did you do that?" Patton asks.
"I never reveal my ways, but keep in mind that they like cookies," Deceit says.
He then sinks out back to his room. Patton makes a mental note of that and goes back to his.
Back in their rooms, Roman and Remus are bored. They have lots of energy and ideas, and they don't want to sleep. Remus gets up after he hears Patton go to his room and sneaks downstairs. He grabs the cookie jar which Deceit uses as leverage and sneaks it back upstairs. He then enters Roman's room.
"Hey! Knock next time," Roman says.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. Look what I got!" Remus says, dumping the cookie jar on the floor.
Roman immediately brightens up and takes one. When he bites in, a small explosion of slime covers his face. Remus laughs.
"You think I wouldn't make a prank cookie?" He says.
Roman glares at him.
"Fair enough. Here, I have some candies to go with the cookies," Roman says, grabbing a small bag.
Remus looks at him suspiciously, but when Roman takes one and pops it in his mouth, Remus trusts them. He grabs one and eats it. He immediately spits it out, though, when he finds it's covered in flour.
"Oh, I'll get you back for this," He says,
"Fine. Right here, right now. No weapons," Roman says.
The wall spearing their two rooms fall, giving them more space to fight.
"I wouldn't recommend that," Anxiety says, opening the door, "And next time you might want to keep it down,"
"Oh great, Panic! At the everywhere is here," Roman grumbles.
"So you'll let us play?" Remus asks.
"Yes! He can be the dark king we have to defeat! The princess can be your stick of deodorant. It's not like you use it anyway," Roman says.
Anxiety did not want to do this at all, but he knew they would give him a massive headache if he didn't go along with it. So he went over to Remus's side of the room and made a small fortress of pillows. He hid the stick of deodorant in the side, not the center where they would expect.
"Let's do this!" Roman says.
He grabs his sword and toy helmet and charges to the pillow fortress. Remus follows just behind him, jumping up onto the wall. Anxiety sighs, knowing he won't get out of this unscathed.
As Remus tackles him, Roman knocks over the fort. When he holds up the stick of deodorant in victory, Remus jumps on him, taking it from his hand.
"Thanks for the snack!" He says, running back to their starting point.
"Boys, what are you doing?" Patton asks, walking in.
Anxiety immediately sinks out to his room to avoid the wrath of a sleep-deprived, angry Patton.
"I thought I told you two to go to bed! That's it, both of you have lost cookie privileges!" Patton says.
He puts back up the wall and takes the cookies out of Roman's room.
"And Roman, I expect you to clean up all the crumbs," Patton says.
He brings the cookie jar back downstairs. He didn't want to be harsh on the twins, but they are forces of chaos. There's no way to keep them under control.
Roman and Remus both glare at the wall in their separate rooms. Neither wanted to sit still or go to bed.
"Psst, Remus," Roman whispers through the wall.
"What?" Remus whispers back.
"Let's play a board game. I'm not sleeping, and if we're quiet Pat won't get mad," He says.
Roman makes an opening in the wall and crawls through, bringing Clue and Monopoly with him. They spent the night playing the games with their friends, Enthusiasm and Curiosity, and had a Disney movie constantly playing in the background.
