Okay guys, so here it is! My FNAF Sister Location theory about the purple guy!

So obviously Purplephone/payphone is one of my OTPs. This theory is just my way of saying it can still exist in the FNAF universe. It is not canon or anything and is just me being a fangurl.

Duh...

Okay, so in the beginning of FNAF sister location we hear two voices talking. A man, most likely the owner of the restaurant, and Mr. Afton, the designer of the animatronics.

In the book, Five Nights At Freddy's: The Silver Eyes, written by Scott Cawthon and someone else (who I can't remember at the moment) it is confirmed that a Mr. William Afton, is in fact the purple guy.

He was a partner to a man named Henry who owned the Fazbear pizzeria. William supposedly handled the financial side of things.

Then the events of FNAF 4 take place. The child is bitten by Fredbear and dies in a coma. Now that boy was known to be the purple man's son. The main boy -the one in the foxy mask- is known as his brother, and then there's a little girl's room in their home.

Since the young boy died, then William has two children left. The older boy and his daughter.

The little girl with reddish hair and green eyes that is seen in both FNAF 4 and sister location, while appearing slightly different, is theorized to be the same girl -the purple man's daughter-.

It's thought that because the girl in sister location is murdered by Baby. And in the secret ending Baby asks "Isn't that why you keep coming back? To be with her?" Which is referring to his dead daughter.

Now here's where my theory begins.

My theory is that William Afton, the purple guy, did help with finances, but also assisted in the making of the animatronics in the pizzeria.

When his younger son is bitten and dies, Henry, the confirmed designer, makes the animatronics kill the older son along with his friends to avenge the younger boy. Mr. Afton wouldn't do this himself because it was still his older son and he couldn't bring himself to kill him.

Afton quits working for Henry and decides to work at the sister location. His daughter, the reddish haired girl with green eyes, is still alive. She hangs around the sister location, but Afton won't let her near Baby.

Because he helped design the original animatronics, he had no trouble designing the sister location mascots.

One day he doesn't see his daughter go to Baby's stage alone and that's where she dies.

Because he is grieving the loss of all of his children, he starts to work maintenance during the night. He's sure it's a death sentence that will finally bring his family back together.

And because there is no sign of a wife or girlfriend, it's safe to assume she isn't in the picture/ died.

So he works the nights, hoping to be with his family.

If you unlock the secret "good" ending in sister location, you live and go home. Yes, the clown animatronic is seen crawling across the living room floor, but that is most likely a teaser for a sequel.

Anyway, after the events of sister location, Mr. Afton goes to work for FNAF 1, where sister location is first introduced.

He meets the phone guy, known as Scott Cawthon because he is voiced by the creator. They fall in love.

And that is my theory for how purplephone can still exist in the FNAF universe.

Yeah, it's pretty far fetched, but it's my theory because I want purplephone to actually be canon. I know that the falling in love part isn't true, but I like to believe the rest of it.
