(srynotsry) big sis!thalia
The storm was a rather large one and no one knows what Zeus was upset about even to this day. Whether it was because he found his daughter that was supposedly missing for over three weeks, or because she was cuddling up with the son of Hades.
Ok, wait you're confused as heck right now. Lemme backtrack.

The thunder rolled, boomed, shook, any other onomatopoeia/personification you could think of. Percy and Thalia were both sound asleep in their tents, only intended to wake up if there was any danger. So, of course, neither of them knew their younger cousin was wide awake. Exhausted and terrified, but wide awake.
It took another three more cracks of thunder, each longer and louder than the last, to finally get the small dark-haired boy to gather his nonexistent courage, and leave his tent seeking comfort from one of two cousins.
He debated going to either Percy or Thalia. The pros of going to Percy: he would comfort Nico. Coax him back into going to sleep. Cons of going to Percy: he'd just comfort Nico, not make him feel better. Besides he also lacked experience, whereas Thalia...
Pros of going to Thalia: she has experience (Jason). She would make him think about other things besides the storm. Happy things, like Bianca. Plus she might be able to tone the storm down with her powers. Highly unlikely, but possible. Cons of going to Thalia: there's a 55% chance she'll tell him to just suck it up and go back to sleep. Which is something he really doesn't need to hear.
Lighting struck a tree, not even 5 miles from their campsite, jolting Nico out of his debate and making quickly run into the nearest tent. Thalia's tent. Nico stood still for another moment. He still wasn't sure he should-- no wanted-- to seek comfort from Thalia. The poor kid was only so close to breaking down into sobs.
This time it was thunder that jolted him from his thoughts, and he quickly joined Thalia on her air mattress, hiding his face under the covers as he did so. (They each had one in their tents.) Thalia groaned at the movement, but when another bolt of lightning and the thunder following made the thing that joined her, move closer, she finally decided to see what disrupted her sleep.
"Nico? W-what's wrong, Neeks?" Nico just shook his head not wanting to say, for fear of rejection from his older cousin. "You gotta tell me, Nico. I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong." The younger of the duo tell didn't say anything, just laid there a sniffling miss clinging on to Thalia.
"Ok, did you have a bad dream?" She asked drawing out the question. She really wanted to tell Nico to get a grip, but she knew she couldn't. Mostly because of the siblingly love the duo share, but also because of how much Nico reminded her of Jason.
Nico shook his head no as his answer, not yet trusting his voice since the thunder and lighting came a little quicker and a lot louder. "Is it the storm?" Nico'll admit: he expected Thalia to ask him in a teasing manner or one of disbelief. Not for her to say it kindly, actually asking him as if -when- he said yes she would comfort him.
He did nod though, once he got over the initial shock. Passing on the shock to Thalia. Except she got over her shock rather quickly, after realizing why he would be scared. After all, it was lighting that killed his mother.
Thalia pulled Nico closer to her, as to not only provide him warmth (he got soaked when he stood outside her door flap) but also to provide the comfort that he so obviously, yet desperately needed. She did the best she could to calm the storm, but... She could only do so much against her father's doing. The best the daughter of Zeus could do was quiet the storm.
Nico released a small sigh when the noise grew quieter. He was rather glad he went to Thalia's tent as opposed to Percy's. At this thought, he started thinking about what would happen in the morning once they woke up. He didn't have long to think about it because Thalia gently started to rub his back, in hopes of him getting some sleep.
And boy did he get a good night's rest when she did that. Thalia did it so gently, it reminded Nico of how Bianca used to rub his back when he had nightmares. The young--yet old-- son of Hades allowed a small smile find its way to his face as he fell asleep.
