Harry didn't know when to think when the owls arrived. At the time, he had been eating breakfast with Ron, and the two were just sitting in silence, Harry thoughtful chewing on a piece of buttered toast.

Absentmindedly tapping his fingers against the wooden table, Harry's bright green eyes wandered the kitchen, and he eventually found himself staring out one of the windows. The early sunlight stretched across the kitchen, and the sky was still a warm pink.

And just staring at the sky, Harry zoned out for a while, his eyes glazed over, and lazily chewing his toast. He didn't even realize the four distant dark dots in the sky that were flying increasingly faster towards the very same kitchen window he was staring at.

Blinking a few times, getting rid of the raw sore feeling in his eyes, Harry finally noticed them. Setting his toast down, Harry nudged Ron, who was immersed in his bacon.

"Hey Ron?" Ron gave a muffled sound of recognition in response.

"Why would four owls be flying here?" Ron looked up, swallowing his mouthful of bacon rather quickly, squinting his eyes out the window. After a few seconds of concentration, Ron shrugged, and shoved another piece of bacon into his mouth, and with his mouth full, he choose to respond.

"Don't know. Maybe it's more of those fan letters you've been getting." Ron bluntly said, and Harry's face got hot. Ever since the battle of Hogwarts those many months ago young witches and wizards--primarily witches--had been sending him letters of adoration.

"Very funny, Ron," Harry said dryly, glancing out the window once more to see the owls that were so far away just a second ago swoop through the window and land on the table in front of him and Ron. They were tawny brown owls, with a single envelope tied to each of their legs. The envelopes were sealed shut with the dark purple seal of Hogwarts.

Taking the envelope off, he turned it over to be meant with his name scribbled in emerald green cursive. Sliding his finger under the flap, he tore the envelope open just as Ron ripped open his. Taking out the thick parchment from within, he unfolded the letter, and smoothed it out of the table.

Dear Mr. Potter,

We are very pleased to tell you the ministry has allowed all those who were supposed to attend Hogwarts the previous year, able to apply for a redo year. We hope to see you again at school, and expect your owl with your response by the first of August, included is a list of supplies needed for your seventh year.

Headmistress Minerva McGonagall

Harry looked up from his letter, suddenly feeling quite queasy, and from the look he registered on Ron's face, he felt the same way. Ron set his letter down, and after a second of hesitation, he shouted.

"MUM!"

Mrs. Wealsey, who happened to be passing by with a basket of laundry under in arm, stepped into the kitchen.

"Yes, Ron?" She quipped, adjusting her basket of laundry.

"They invited me and Harry to go back to Hogwarts, but I don't want to go!" Ron complained, holding out the letter, Mrs. Wealsey grasped the letter with her free hand, brushing one of her orange curls out of her face with the wrist, and scanned the letter.

"Well of course you're going back--don't make that face at me Ronald-- you need to finish your education. Harry understands, he'll be going back won't he?" Mrs. Wealsey snapped, and Harry felt flustered. He wasn't planning on returning to school, but from the implying tone to her voice, Harry assumed he didn't have a choice anymore.

"Oh... Uh... Yeah, Ron, don't you want to graduate Hogwarts?" Harry sputtered, completely taken by surprise. And from the scowl on Ron's face, he could tell Ron knew he didn't mean a word of it, Mrs. Weasley on the other hand was positively beaming.

"See Ron? Give me the letters, I'll give Hermione and Ginny their's, and write back to Professor McGonagall letting her know you're all doing the redo year." Tucking all four letters into the top fonder laundry basket, she left the kitchen.

"Hey! Get outta my toast!" Harry swatted the owl away from his now empty plat, and with Harry's toast still in his beak, the owl took off through the window, Harry swearing at it all the way while the other three owls took off after.

Annabeth couldn't help but feel bittersweet when she was called to the big house. Marching up the hill, her hands tucked into the pockets of her  grey windbreaker, she headed towards the light blue farm house.

Despite that it was early August, a cold gust of wind was swirling through the camp that morning, and Annabeth had dug out her old jacket before heading out to the big house when she was summoned. Three days after Gaea had been defeated, and her massive primordial power still rippled over and effected the earth. A town in central New Jersey had received a shower of snow the previous day and a level three hurricane tore through Florida a day before the last.

So, as the gears in Annabeth's mind turned, she could only imagine with a heavy heart exactly why she had been summoned to the big house. Breathing heavily she jogged up the hill, the flaps of her unzipped windbreaker flying behind her in he gust.

Cursing under her breath, she tugged a blue inhaler from her pocket as she ran, holding it up to her mouth and pressing the top. Exhaling in relief, she jammed the inhaler loosely in her pocket, her breathing starting to come easier, and continued to jog up to the big house.

"You'll need to carry that inhaler around- Tartarus's poison air has damaged your lungs. Should be fine, but the inhaler will help when you're short winded."

At first Annabeth had thought Will was insane. Percy was the winded one of the two,  puffing and wheezing accompanied him daily. He had been put on regular medicine, to be taken in the morning and evening, and on top of that an inhaler three times as strong as the one Annabeth kept in her back pocket.

But once Will showed her some scans, had her listen to her own lungs, she begrudgingly agreed to carry around the inhaler.

Annabeth finally made it up the hill, which with her current lung condition felt like a mountain, and made it to the deck. Not seeing Chiron, or anyone for that matter, she knocked lightly on the screen door, which shook and groaned at her contact as if it was going to fall of its hinges any minute.

Stepping back tediously, Annabeth heard Chiron shout through the house.

"Come in, Annabeth!" She pulled open the screen door carefully, as if it might fall off at any moment, and stepped in inside the big house. Chiron was standing in front of a couch, his hands behind his back, wearing a warm smile. "Hello Annabeth, would you mind joining Hazel and Piper on the couch? I'm afraid we have something quite important to discuss."

Her shoulders sinking a little Annabeth sighed and walked around the couch and sat down next to Hazel. She folded her hands over her lap and looked up as Chiron began.

"Now, I'm sure you three bright demigods have realized the odd weather conditions up happening around the world." He paused for a moment, and the three girls nodded, "Well, it's unfortunate to say that they're not just after-effects of Gaea."

"You see, Gaea had a plan to fall back on, an older lover of hers that has not been awake since before the golden age of titans. Pontus, the primordial of the ocean. Leo Valdez, in his blaze of glory to defeat Gaea, destroyed her over the sea. As such, her remains- as gross as it sounds, landed in the ocean. Which, spurred Pontus. We gave no idea what would happen if he were to awake, and the monsters have already started rallying behind him. Suffice to say, Pontus is much more dangerous then Gaea, and we requested outside help. But they said we needed to prove ourselves, and if you'll accept, that's where you three girls come in." Annabeth let the matter sink in, and her only response was exasperation, why couldn't the Primordials have schedules their waking farther apart, it's not like they'll have a dentist appointment in three thousand years.

"I'll give you the details before you decide. You know, Annabeth, that Hecate had many followers back in the days of Greece, not all human. Well some of these followers were called Mage's. And they were powerful indeed. Able to channel her gift of magic through wands, staffs, and potions. Now a days they have expanded, settled all over the world- even here in America. But the majority of her followers, settled in Europe. You see, because the majority of her followers settled there, we filed a request for them to help us, as Pontus taking over is not good for them either. They said the would, on one condition. The current Minister go Magic, Hermione Granger, said we needed to prove ourselves trust worthy, without endangering anyone. So we've agreed to send you back to her final year at Hogwarts, and if she remembers you trustworthy, then the wizards are with us. " Concluded Chiron, folding his arms over his chest. Annabeth made brief eye contact with Hazel and Piper, and they all seemed to come to a reculsnt agreement.

"Why us!" Question Piper, and Chiron folded his arms over his front, "I mean we will do it, but why us? Why not Katie and the Stolls?"

"We needed three well rounded people. Three trustworthy people. Yes, of course the remaining male half of the Seven could do, however we thought someone more responsible would work best. We also thought you'd adapt the best, blend in more. And we can trust you not to break these." Chiron picked up an ornate red box with purple designs. Flicking open the lid he picked up a silver chain and dangled over the box, and on the end was a bronze hourglass in the middle of two bronze loops. Silver and gold sand sparkled on the bottom half of the hourglass.

"They're called time turners. You'll each get one, and they'll take you back in time to her year. From September First to June first. Then just like that you'll be right back to our time." Explained Chiron, setting the time turner back into the box, and a question bubbled up in Annabeths mind.

"Will we need to disguise ourselves? Change our names in any way?" Question Annabeth, "Would saying who we are have a horrible effect on the time space continuum?"

"You should be fine my dear. However, there is the matter of your school supplies." Chiron set the box down, "The ministry of magic has supplied you with three trunks with everything you'll need for that year. A school uniform that has been charmed to fit you--the wonders of modern day magic according to the Minister-- and these." Chiron picked up a long thin box off a stack of three, and pulled out a thin stick, "A wand. Using magic the ministry has been working on for Squibs-- the magic folk born without magic-- they have created three wands that hold magic that can be triggered with a single thought. You must take deep care with these my girls." He placed the wand carefully into the velvet inside of the box and handed it to Annabeth who took it gingerly, then proceeded to pass the other two to Hazel and Piper.

The three girl stood up, each carefully holding the box that contained their wands. They exchanged quick glances, before leaving the big house, setting off down the grassy hill to prepare, and pack for their epidemic.
