It all happened so quickly, like with a blink of an eye, he was gone. My father was being tried for being accused of giving the enemy private information about our government. "Do you, Mr. Johnson, admit guilty that you opened us up to the enemy"? "I'm telling you, I didn't do it." They whipped him with a cat o nine-tails. "Admit you did, and the punishment will be small." "But I'm telling you, I didn't give away anything." Again they whipped him, he was getting more and more scars each minute. What was worse is that they were doing this in front of the entire city, humiliating him more and more. I was just 12 that day, seeing my father get beat closer to death was hard for me, after losing my mother to the same thing when I was only 7. "One last time Mr. Johnson, did you give private information to the enemy. We will kill you just like we did your wife 5 years ago." "I didn't do anything." I could see the rage and anger radiating off of him, even water couldn't touch his skin before evaporating into gas from how mad he was. "Very well then. Guards, bring me my box of torturous things." The men protecting him stepped outwards and another man that looked the age of 18 came with a few briefcases, each one having a different weapon in it. "Ah Mr. Johnson look at who we have here, it's your son." I looked at the 18 year old again and he looked a little bit like dad, but I had no idea I had an older brother. "Son, how could you do this to me, your own father." "Don't worry Mr. Johnson, he'll join you as well." He then took out a double sided mace and crushed his skull in. "You monster, when I get out of here, you are dead, you hear me, dead." "Oh but, I'm afraid you won't get out of there alive." The killer took out a colt cobra, aimed it in between my father's eyes, and blew his brains out. But that was only 10 years ago, I was 22 years old, with a taste for vengeance for the man that killed my mother, my brother, and my father. The ruler of the town, who just loved to accuse people of giving secret information and killing them the day after. How I hated his guts could not resemble the amount of hate in the world. Ever since my father died I trained day and night getting stronger and stronger, practicing on shooting guns and sword fighting. Today was the day that I would get my revenge on Mr. Wisemen. I suited up early in the morning putting on my suit that I use to do my normal job, assassinate people. Then I equipped my weapons in secret compartments, and snuck into the supply crate from this month's payup. Mr. Wisemen was a dictator making everyone give almost everything they had. He was truly corrupted, and that's what I did, stopped every corrupt government and made sure the leader was a good person and kept the country in shape. I started setting traps where any guards walked to on patrol. Whether it be mines or hooks or whatever I had on my person. Next was deploying the crab mines. I laid one down and set it on a timer to infiltrate the doors at exactly the same time as it opens. Every door that would let guards out I placed the crab mine in front of and set the timer. It was about 10 o'clock and the doors were getting ready to open. The first guard walked out and I threw a ninja star at him, hitting him right in the temple. The alarms went off and the all the doors opened giving my crab mines plenty of time to make it into the main room. I opened up the cameras and activated the holograms to distract the guards. Eventually all my crab mines made it to the target wall and they crawled onto the wall, being set in place and waiting for the right time. All my traps were used and my holograms time ran out. I had no choice but to take out my shield and sword to take them out. I pushed my way to the target wall and sat in position, waiting for the enemies to find me. After they did I held my shield in front of me, and waited for the perfect time, I looked at my detonator and the clock read 5 seconds. I jumped up as high as I could and the wall blew up killing anybody near the wall. Landing on my feet I rushed into the room and made my way to the governor's room. Placing a mine on the door and waited for the governor to go back to his room. I put on my camouflage and hid from the governor, but when the governor walked to his door he pushed a button and the wall I was hiding next to started to descend and revealed a secret room. I quickly moved over to the wall next to the big door and hoped that the governor didn't see me. The governor just walked down the stairs and payed no attention to any movement that went on. The door was closing when I jumped into it and managed to keep all my belongings. I creeped down the stairs and saw the governor plotting something with someone. "So, what's the next part of the plan to kill your brother"? "Well, last I checked he became an assassin and destroyed any corrupt government he could find. Do you have any idea where he is"? "Yes, he infiltrated the city today at 10." "The usual time he does, if I'm correct, he's hiding behind that plant as we speak." She was right, I was hiding behind a plant, but I had no idea that it was my sister. I had to do something to prevent from getting caught. So I did what I had to do, I took three ninja stars and threw them to where they would bend to my sister's side and distract them from catching me. I swiftfully threw the ninja stars and one of them bent the other two towards the left and one of the stars bent the last one and pierced into her side. "Ow, urg he's over there somewhere. Get him." The governor walked over to the other side of the room and that gave me time to put a suppressor on my pistol and kill both of them once and for all. But, I couldn't kill my sister, I had never known her, so I only shot the governor, right square in the head. As he collapsed my sister looked over to me and with eyes of hatred she took out a gun and aimed it at me. I took out a blow dart and stuck her in the finger, she eventually fell asleep and collapsed onto the floor. Knowing her fatal injury to her leg, there was only a matter of time before she bled out. So I left her there, sad and depressed at losing the other only family I had, I ended myself in the process. Now that I have died, I hope you learn a lesson from this story, Revenge will only hurt you as well, and once you start, you can't stop.
