(Y/N)'s POV

Soft and gentle vibrations travel up the side of my body as a odd sound hits my ears, waking me from my sleep. While rubbing my eyes with one hand, a groans escapes me, joining the other sounds the fill the otherwise quiet and peaceful night air. The vibrations and sound continue as I blink my eyes a couple of times to help wake myself up.

"Okay, (Y/N), you are too tired to be dead and whatever it is that's next to you doesn't seem ready to kill you yet." I think as I try to figure out what exactly is going on. "Can't risk flipping out, otherwise what is a peaceful intruder could turn into a violent one real fast." The sound soon pulls me from my thoughts. "Okay, the heck is that noise?"

Listening to the sound for a minute or so, I groggily come to the realization that what I am hearing is purring, or at least a person's attempt at purring.

"Alright, either a stray cat has snuck into my house, Minette just broke in again, or one of Minette's kitties decided to come visit." The arm that belongs to the side that the vibrations is coming from, slowly and carefully moves up to feel what is laying next to me. My hand soon comes into contact with a large furry coat before I move it a little closer. Then it comes into contact with some skin.

"Alright it's Minette or a weird giant cat. Given that this is Menette I am talking about I wouldn't be surprised if she has giant cat and put it in my bed." With a yawn I sit myself up in my bed and look over at me unexpected bedmate. Thanks to the moon light coming in my previously closed window, I am able to see the sleeping form of Minette, laying in my bed, purring/snoring away as she sleeps. Right now she is in one of my t-shirts which is a bit too big for her as the shirt looks more like an odd tunic with a chocobo on it. I can't really tell if she has anything on underneath the shirt and I have no plans to find out. The only other article of clothing that I can visually see on her is her trademarked cat themed cape/costume which honestly looks way too hot to be comfortable, but that's just me. Reaching over, I gently caress her cheek as I try to wake Minette up. In a soft voice, I speak.

"Minette? Minette, what are you doing?" My words seem to make the little cat enthusiast stir a bit, but she doesn't wake all the way up.

"Nya, Minette wants to sleep (Y/N)." The cat lover then reaches out with an arm and wraps it around my neck before pulling me back down to the bed and tightly holds me close to her strong yet small body. "Meow sweep with Minette." She says through a heavy yawn which makes me yawn back. She then nuzzles her head against the top of my head before she starts to purr/snore again.

"Hmm, guess I'm not getting an answer tonight." I mutter. "Well, might as well get comfy." I then move a bit and wiggle around so that I can get comfortable on my bed again before letting out a relaxed sigh. "Well at least she's warm." Was the last thoughts that went through my head as Minette purrs more and holds me as close as possible. With those thoughts I then fall asleep with my strange but lovely girlfriend.
