(Y/N)'s POV

"W-where are we going (Y/N)?" Hinata asks me in her usual soft and quiet voice. The soft spoken ninja girl uses one of her delicate hands to try and move the blindfold that is covering her eyes. My lips curl up a bit as we walk down the street with my hand tightly holding her other one. I gently squeeze her hand before speaking.

"Hey! No cheating now." I say in a joking tone. The dark haired ninja's hand shoots down to her side. A very bright and very big red blush grows on her face in almost an instance.

"S-sorry!" Her voice raises an octave or two, signaling her embarrassment. I slow our pace a little bit so that I am right next to her now.

"It's okay, Hinata. I'm not upset." I say calmly to try and reassure the shy ninja. Knowing what she is about to say, my words continue before she can speak, "And yes, I am sure." Her head kinda shrinks away just a little bit before she just slowly and shyly nods. My smiles stays as I continue to guide her down the street. Hopefully she isn't using her Byakugan to just bypass the blindfold entirely. Just defeats the whole purpose!

"S-so where are we going?" Hinata asks again. I start to chuckle from her repeated question.

"Secret." I say playfully as we walk through a gate in the front of the village. I hear her make a sound of protest which makes me chuckle some more. "No pouting. I know you will like it." Hinata nods though she keeps that adorably cute pout on her face. At least I hope she likes it. Soon the sounds of the forest start to fill the air as the sounds of the village start to fade away.

"Are we out of Konohagakure?" Hinata asks some with a twinge of fright in her voice. Again, I gently squeeze her hand to calm her.

"Hey, you got me here with you and you're one of the best Byakugan users I know." I with confidence, "Plus we aren't going out too far." Her blush comes back in full swing as I finish.

"I'm not that good..." You can just feel the uncertainty just dripping from her voice. Hopefully I can help her with that.

"Pff, agree to disagree." I shrug her comment off as I keep walking her to the secret location. After a little bit longer of walking, we near the spot. "Alright Hinata, we are almost there. Just a couple more steps." The ninja nods at my words before I gently stop her. My hands then move up to the blindfold, "Alright you ready?" Hinata nods again. Then without another word I remove the cloth from her eyes. Hinata then gasps as she steps back with a hand raised to her chest. Thanks to her stepping back, she is now leaning on me some. Usually my girlfriend would blush and stutter at the sudden closeness but right now she is a bit preoccupied.

"Oh..." She says just barely above a whisper.

"I guess I did a good." I say with a smile as I look up at the sight. Before the two of us is a large deep blue lake surrounded with trees that are only a few feet away from the lake. Because of the way the sun is hitting the water, the lake is sparkling a brilliantly with the blazing orange sky perfectly contrasting the lake's color.

"Oh... (Y/N) it's beautiful!" She says happily.

"Yeah, I did a good." I say proudly as I wrap my arms around her in a hug. She then rests her other hand on one of my arms as her hand stays up at her chest. I then reach over and kiss her cheek before speaking, "Hinata?" She turns her head a little my way.

"Yes, (Y/N)?" She asks hesitantly.

"Well I know that you've been having some... doubts about our relationship." I can see a spark up fear appear and stain her beautiful eyes. "Shh, let me finish." I say as calmly as possible. Hopefully I'm not scaring her with my looks right now. Last thing I need to be doing is that. "And I wanted to try and show you that you don't need to have any. Hence why I brought you to the first place we went on a date, both with surveillance and without." The fear in her eyes are soon drowned out by some tears of happiness as she looks forward at the lake again.

"I thought this place looked familiar." She says happily before pointing to a spot on the other side of the lake, "Isn't that where Neji threw you when he thought you were "putting a move" on me?" She asks happily at the memory of our first date.

"Yup."

"And isn't that the spot we stayed under when it rained on us during your picnic?" She asks happily as she points to a place where a few trees are very close to each other, providing a very nice amount of coverage.

"Yup. Used my coat to help cover you as we just ate under the branches." Hinata then leans a bit more against me, not her usual move but I would never complain about this.

"Thank you, (Y/N). I'm sorry that I worried, I just thought-" I cut her soft words off with a quick kiss to the cheek.

"No apologise and don't ever worry about being good enough again. To me, you are perfect." I can see her blush grow some more at my words.

"Okay (Y/N). Guess you taking here just proves that even more." She shyly says.

"Yeah." I say as I then look down at my hands and what I have in them, "Figured if the place was good enough for our first date, it would be good enough for our last one." I say as I then open my hands and tap her with what I am holding.

"Wait what do you... mean..." Hinata's words trail off as she peers down at my hands. My thumb flicks the little black box open to reveal a diamond ring with a bright golden ring attached to the gem inside. Her hand then moves up to her mouth as she quietly gasps. "Is... Is this why you haven't been able to spend time t-together this week?" Nodding as I respond.

"I was doing some last minute extra work to be able to buy it. So, what do you think?" She then tears around and looks at me with tears streaming down her smiling face before wrapping her arms around me.

"Yes!"
