[2.5] mind games part II

When Stiles opened his eyes again, he was more than utterly confused. He was full of rage, desperation, and most importantly, he had an insatiable hunger. The back of his throat burned for something unknown to him and his skin felt as if it was on fire. He tried to ignore all of these things, trying to focus on what had happened, but the ringing in his head kept him from doing so.

"Wakey, wakey."

Stiles' eyes flick up the sound of the voice, sounding just like Elena. His hands bawl into fists when he see's her standing there, a devilish look on her face. He tried to tell himself that it wasn't Elena; it couldn't be. Elena would never do something like this, whatever even was happening.

"What is going on?" Stiles says, shaking his head as he tried to step forwards. He's held back by his wrists before he looks down at them, seeing that they were bound in rope, tied to a column in the room. After Stiles notices this, he realizes that he's standing in the Argent's old warehouse; only knowing that because Scott had told him about a previous fight he and Chris had had here with Kate.

Katherine steps in front of one of the hanging plastic sheets, cocking her head to the side slightly. "I would tell you, but you wouldn't understand."

Stiles clenches his jaw, already tired of what this person wanted. "Fine, then explain to me what you did to me. Something doesn't feel right."

"I'll get to that later," Katherine snaps then, taking another step towards Stiles. The boy tugs on the rope bound to his hands, finding no release. Something was covering the ropes, but Stiles didn't know what.

Stiles grunts before resting his hands. "Then tell me who the hell you are."

"Katherine Pierce," she says, not missing a beat. "You probably don't know me, but I know you."

Stiles narrows his eyes. "And how would you know me?"

"You're the boy who brought chaos to Beacon Hills," Katherine says, making circles around the boy as he watched carefully. "You almost killed all of your friends, and most importantly, you like Elena Gilbert."

Stiles doesn't know what to think; he was furious that she brought up the nogitsune, that being a popular topic amongst the supernaturals it seemed, but why did she have to mention Elena? "Let me guess; the last time I had seen two people that looked alike was me and the nogitsune, so I'm willing to bet that you're him, aren't you?"

Stiles trembles at his accusation, afraid that the dark fox was back for more. However, that wasn't the case. "You actually think I'm the nogitsune? That I'm that dark? I feel honored."

Stiles narrows his eyes, not as afraid as he was a few moments ago. "Then why do you two look so much alike."

"We're doppelgängers," Katherine says, anger filling her heart. She hated Elena Gilbert; she'd do anything to see her dead. "There's more behind it, but that would take me all night to explain, and you don't have that long."

Stiles' heart pounds. "What do you mean I don't have that long?"

"I mean that you should be already feeling something by now," Katherine says, remembering the hunger all too well. "That burning feeling on your skin and throat, the heightened senses, the jitteriness-"

Stiles' eyes are wide, realizing what she had done to him. "I-I'm a wolf?"

Katherine's nose wrinkles up into a snarl. "A wolf? God, no, not those smelly things. Ever heard of vampires?"

Stiles felt like he had died in that moment. The sinking feeling from hearing what Katherine said had done him in. He felt like he couldn't get enough oxogen to his lungs to interpret what she really said. He felt a panic attack coming, but it was like he wasn't capable of having one. He kept breathing faster and faster, but it didn't feel like the other times he's had one.

"Oh, it's not all that bad, Stiles," Katherine laughs as her heals click on the concrete. "Apart from the whole burning in the daylight thing...along with the constant hunger-"

"I don't want to be a vampire!" Stiles screams at the girl, tears falling down his face. In his eyes, his life was over. Technically it really was, but all of his future plans just stopped then and there. All he wanted to do was protect his friends and family, but now he'd just be putting them in danger. Because of him.

Katherine's smile fades from her face. "Well I'm afraid you don't get a choice. I need you Stiles, and whether you like it or not, you need me."

"Just leave me the hell alone!" Stiles screams, his emotions all over the place right now. He was furious at the girl in front of him, wanting to rip her to shreds, but he also just wanted to run away and never look back. He was confused by his own feelings.

Katherine stares at Stiles for a moment, a small little spec of emotion forming in her heart for the boy. But it was gone in an instance. She needed to take the next step in his transformation before she lost the chance. "You can come out now, darling!"

Katherine looks over towards one of the plastic sheets as Stiles does as well, not being able to understand what was even happening. Tears cloud his vision as he struggles to see a person step out from behind one of the sheets; a girl. Sobs fill the building as the girl walks over to the two of them, since it was her command after all. Katherine grins at the irony of it all as Stiles' jaw falls, realizing who the girl was.

Lydia Martin.

Lydia stops a couple of feet away from Stiles as she stands next to Katherine, tears leaking down her face. She wasn't sure why she was doing these things, but it was like she had to; like she was forced to.  Mascara had already stained his cheekbones by this point, but that was the least of her worries at that moment. She didn't know why Stiles was tied up, along with why this girl was doing this to them.

"She was your first love, correct?" Katherine smirks as she runs a finger down Lydia's face, causing Lydia to squeeze her eyes shut, terrified of her.

Stiles throws himself forwards, hurting his wrists. "Don't you dare lay a finger on her!"

"Oh, I'm not going to be the one doing that," Katherine says before yanking her hand away. "That's all up to you."

Stiles shakes his head, pure pain written across his face. He stares into Lydia's fragile eyes, trying to give her some sort of comfort. "Lydia, it's going to be okay, alright?"

"I-I can't move Stiles," Lydia sobs, licking her lips slightly. "Why can't I move?"

Katherine grabs Lydia's wrist as she lifts it upwards. "Another perk of being a vampire, Stiles. Compulsion."

Before Stiles can say anything to Katherine, her eyes were crackling as her fangs extended, digging into Lydia's wrist. Lydia wanted nothing more than to scream right there and then; she couldn't tell if it was from the pain or from her banshee abilities, but either way, she couldn't scream. Everything told her that she couldn't.

Katherine pulls away after a moment, a grin plastered onto her face. She looks over at Stiles, a disgusted and furious look on his face as she wiped the blood off of her face. Lydia wrinkles her face up from the pain as Katherine holds Lydia's bitten wrist towards Stiles, knowing that he wouldn't be able to resist himself.

"Care for a drink, Stiles?" Katherine laughs as Stiles grits his teeth, his eyes beginning to crack as well. "Or you know, I can finish her off for you."

Katherine starts to go for Lydia again before Stiles yells, his eyes red. "Don't touch her!"

"If you insist," Katherine smirks before pushing Lydia towards Stiles, now within distance of him. Stiles takes a step back as he stares at the blood on her wrist, never wanting something that much before in his life. He knew how wrong it was, but the hunger gnawed him away from the inside out.

"Just do it Stiles," Lydia sobs, knowing that Katherine wasn't going to stop at anything until she got what she wanted. Stiles tried to tell himself no; he tried to resist against it. He didn't want to hurt his high school crush, the girl that has meant everything to him since day one. But now that she was standing there, the blood seemed to come in between all of that.

Stiles looks up slowly to lock his eyes with her own, seeing the fear behind them. His veins pop out underneath his eye sockets as fangs extended, not being able to contain himself. He shakes his head, knowing that he couldn't fight against it anymore.

"I'm sorry Lydia," he says slowly, meaning those words. The next thing he knows, he's bringing his head to her neck, digging his teeth into her. She moans in pain, biting her tongue to prevent the scream from leaving her lips. She was almost positive this time that it wasn't just from the pain.

Her own death was closing in.

Katherine smirks as she watches the boy drain her dry, savoring every moment of it. She knew how devastated Elena would be when she hears that Stiles was a vampire, along with the fact that he killed his first love; his best friend. Lydia's knees fall weak then, causing her to fall to the floor, her head hitting the ground hard.

Stiles stares down at her, not being able to fathom that he had just done that. He wanted to scream, to cry, to kill Katherine; but something wasn't right. While he felt all of those emotions, he also found pleasure mixed in there. The rush that the blood had given him was oddly satisfying, along with what came with it. Everything felt like he was being able to see for the first time, and he hated that he was feeling this way.

Katherine crosses her arms as she stares at the boy, looking up at her with blood dripping down his pale lips.

"What have I done."

IM SO SORRY BABY LYDS BUT I HAD TO DO IT

Well um, idk about writing a third part. I don't want this to turn into a ten part one shot or something like that. I think I'll just leave it as it is, but if you would like to continue this on your own, feel free to. Just give me credit for writing this first part (:

BUT HOLY HELL THE GIF
