Diamond's POV

The day had been the most hectic day of my LIFE! On one hand my friends were kidnapped- me with them. Then they escaped..... I diverted the bad guys away.....  After I was captured and brought back I met her....

Sylvia, the sylveon pokehuman. She seemed miserable, stuck in a cage.... I felt so bad for her. I felt even worse when she almost took punishment for me.....

"I don't care how much you hurt me! I won't tell you where they went!"

"Oh we don't plan on hurting you... We plan on hurting her," he said, turning to Sylvia.

"I already told you, hurt me as much as you want, I can handle it. She won't ever-"

She was cut off. "We'll do more than hurt you darling."

Before I realized it, a gun was being pointed at her.

So I told them..... I told them where my friends went, all to save someone I didn't even know. But I felt something. I felt it inside me and I had a hard time describing what it was. It felt like I needed to protect her...

Even more so when someone was holding a gun to her. So I told them, and regretted it....

BANG

"No!" I yelled, running to Sylvia and grabbing her into my arms. He shot her. Even though I told him, he shot her in the shoulder and walked away laughing.

I held back tears, watching her slip away. Though she smiled at me, the first time I had ever seen her smile. It was was the saddest smile I'd ever seen...

"You're going to be ok...." I whispered to her, feeling tears slip down my cheeks as I bent down to kiss her forehead.

"I will be ok.... Your friends need you..." She said weakly.

"I won't just leave you!"

"You have to....."

But I refused, picking her up and rushing her out of the building.

But it was too late.... The nearest hospital miles away. She still smiled at me, "Thank you...."

I didn't know why she thanked me, I had gotten her killed...

She looked like she was going to say something but stopped. She just brought her hand up to my cheek, smiling one last time before taking her last breath.

"I love you...." I whispered, slowly crumpling to the ground and hugging her for the last time, tears streaming down my face. "Please... Sylvia don't leave me...."
