For this one shot, Iggy has his sight back, and they are on the new island. Nudge is 14 and Iggy is 16. May contain spoilers.

Iggy flew over to Nudge's tree house, still thrilled to have his sight back. He only had gotten it back three months before, and had been flying everywhere to see absolutely everything.

He landed, and walked inside. Nudge was chatting with her friends, her back turned to him. Both of her friends, Stella and Kyra, looked at him and giggled. Nudge turned around and blushed.

"Um, hey, Iggy. What are you doing here?" She asks, blushing slightly and sending a glare at her friends.

Iggy raised an eyebrow, "Well, I just was wondering if you wanted to take a fly, but if you're busy..."

"No, I'm not busy. these two were just leaving," she replied, glaring again until they got the message. They quickly said their goodbyes and left.

"So, wanna go to that new island-"

"Actually, I just painted my nails. I just needed an excuse to get them out," Nudge says, "Not in a bad way, cause I mean I really like them, but sometimes they get really annoying."

He looked down, "So, I guess I'll just be going then..."

She sighed, "Erm, alright."

They both stayed in the room for a minute, waiting for each other to say something.

"Okay... bye then," he finally said, leaving.

Iggy had been avoiding Nudge for the past few days. It wasn't that he didn't like her, it would just be awkward, and he was sure she felt the same.

On the other hand, he had finally told Dylan about his crush on Nudge, which had been pretty awkward. But Dylan was basically an expert on crushes, considering his whole "Made for Max" thing.

Unfortunately, there was a Flock meeting that he had to attend.

He flew up to Max's tree house, hoping Nudge wasn't there yet. He let out a sigh of relief when he realized she wasn't, and took a seat.

"Is not!" Angel yelled at Gazzy, though the reason was unclear.

"Is too!"

"Is not!"

"Is too!"

"Is too!"

"Is not!" Gazzy yelled, "Wait a sec..."

"I win!" Angel yelled back, "I win I win I win!!"

"Do not!"

"JUST BE QUIET!!" Dylan yelled, covering his ears.

"Sorry..."

"Sorry..."

"Anyway, " Max says, looking at a map that we drew, "We really need to explore more on the south west. We haven't really look much there."

Fang was about to say something when Nudge walked in, "Sorry I'm late! I just had to-"

She stopped talking as soon as she saw Iggy. They made eye contact, before looking away. Max and Fang looked at each other, and Fang raised an eyebrow while Max managed a small nod.

"Is Iggy and Nudge in love?" Gazzy whispered loudly to his sister.

"Shh! Max will find out!" she whispered back.

Nudge looked over at Max and Fang. "Anyway, I had to finish letting my toenails dry before coming over. What did you guys say?"

Max looked slightly annoyed, "Just saying how we need to look at the south west part of the island, possibly beyond."

"And," Fang added, "We should probably go in pairs. Just because we got rid of all of the idiots one time doesn't mean it won't happen again."

Max nodded, "So I'll go with Fang"- this earned a eye roll from Dylan-" Iggy with Dylan, and Nudge with Gazzy and Angel."

Fang finished, "And that concludes this meeting."

After a few more days of solitude, Fang and Max finally had a plan. Fang had invited Iggy to the beach, while Max was getting Nudge. Fang and Iggy were sitting down as the girls arrived.

"Hey, Fang, what is Nudge doing here?" Iggy asked.

He raised an eyebrow, "Why not?"

Iggy had nothing to say without revealing his crush to him, or possibly hurting Nudges feelings.

"Oh, um, hey guys. Didn't know you would be here..." Nudge said, mumbling the last part.

"Well surprise! Oh crap, Fang, I totally forgot! We were supposed to leave like ten minutes ago to explore the island! Sorry guys, gotta run!" Max yelled, grabbing Fangs wrist and taking off.

After a moment of watching them take off, Nudge finally broke the silence. "Max is a terrible actress."

Iggy cracked up, realizing how true the statement was. But how she found out about his crush, he had no idea.

"So, what do you think she wanted us here for?" Nudge asked.

"Well, I may be that I have a crush... on you..." Iggy says shyly. Nudges eyes widen with surprise.

"Really? Why didn't you just say so? I've had a crush on you for like, ever!!" Nudge nearly screams with delight.

"Wow, why didn't you just say so?"

"Well, honestly I was scared you didn't like me..."

"Nudge, " he says, taking her hands and looking into her eyes, "I don't like you. I love you. And I would do anything for you, even if it meant going blind again."

She looked into his eyes, smiling, nearly not believing his words.

"So, please, will you be my first kiss?"

Nudge was speechless, but finally nodded, and what happened next made Iggy the happiest avian/human hybrid in the world.
