Many May #4 Nine Lives and an Invisible Cat
"Nine totems, a respawn crystal, a vexed metal bell that can't ring, and six golden apples."
Jellie looked at him with a confused glance.
"I love to be in your study but why aren't you petting me."
I wanted to give you a gift better than pets. Nine lives!" He took off her collar and started putting everything on it.
He then took a crystal and put on a happy instrumental.
The collar started glowing before combining and Jellie sat in the middle of the spell he was looking at.
She felt the collar go around her neck and the jingle didn't happen like it always did. She frowned and hopped off the table as Scar looked at someone in the hall.
Grian.
"That cat again?" She asked with a hiss.
He shook his head and Jellie walked away quickly. Following the shorter man as he flew across the server for hours.
"Do you need a ride?" Doc asked when he landed beside her.
"To wherever Grian is going to." She said.
"Wait right here." He said quickly.
He then flew off into the sky following the smaller man.
"Grian! Jellie needs to chat with you!"
"Aren't you afraid of cats?" Grian asked
"Yes, I am, but Jellie has stopped triggering that somehow."
He shrugged as they turned around and flew back to the cat waiting by the water.
"Hello!" Jellie yelled.
"Hi! Grian yelled back.
"Hallo! Doc yelled as he flew off and away, ignoring the glance from Grian.
"So what do you need?"
"I need you to kill a cat for Scar. She saw Grian's face and explained.
An invisible cat gets his tongue every time he tries to talk to you. It's only for you."
"I'll do that." He flew off laughing and Jellie walked back to the magic tree. She climbed up to the top window where Grian and Scar were talking.
She groaned when she didn't see Grian's sword and tried to look disappointed at him but Scar started fumbling over his words and Grian started crying. Scar hugged him and Grian held him.
She didn't want to interrupt them but gravity was pulling on her sore paws and before she knew it she was falling.
She screamed and saw shards of glass follow her and she closed her eyes as she fell faster and faster.
She felt a soft fabric against her back and she continued to flail until her claws reached someone's face.
She was shocked when they didn't hit her away. Instead when she looked up she saw a smile.
"Thank you for saving me." she retracted her claws and he was completely unfazed.
"No problem." He said.
She internally wished Scar would spend his life or two more seasons with Grian.
"I like him. He's a lot like Cub." she said happily, trotting off.
She heard the sound of a kiss and smiled. She had a person to annoy and Scar most likely had a boyfriend. She fell asleep on his crystal table and he smiled at her.
"Thank you."
It was the least he could do for her but she smiled.
