Bdubs and Doc stood outside of a giant maze of corn. They both smiled at each other.

"Ready?" Bdubs asked.

Doc just grinned and started counting down.

"Three."

"Two."

"One."

"Los!" Doc yelled rushing in with Bdubs on his heels.

Doc jumped up above the corn and Bdubs took the opportunity to run through a barrier of corn as Doc ran by Bdubs followed him. Doc twisted and turned expertly and Bdubs followed him much less gracefully.

As Doc came face to face with a barrier of corn he stepped back confused before jumping up again.

Bdubs laughed and Doc turned around quickly.

"Go on. I just think you're funny." Bdubs said with a smile.

Doc jumped again turning to face Bdubs. Doc's small white crop top came up with the wind and Bdubs couldn't help but look down at his chest.

As a result, he saw Doc's piercings and he gawked until the crop top came back down and Bdubs watched as Doc ran.

"This way!" Doc yelled.

He darted after Doc but was stopped by a cramp. He then started wandering in the maze trying to find either the exit or Doc.

"Bdubs!" Doc yelled. This time he stood on the other side of the barrier so he ran through it and accidentally tacked Doc.

They looked into each other's eyes and Doc leaned up while Bdubs stared at him.

...

"You're hot," Bdubs said as he stared into his eyes.

Doc just smiled. "That's gay."

Bdubs looked to his left and saw the exit.

"I want some apple cider," Bdubs said hopping off of Doc's chest.

Doc just smiled. "We can share one. I'm clean." He said getting up.

Bdubs smiled and nodded. "I would like that." He said stepping out of the maze.

Doc smiled at Bdubs and put his hand on Bdubs' neck. Bdubs was silent as they got into a covered trailer pulled by a tractor that was at the exit.

They sat on the benches close together and Bdubs felt a gust of wind so he stole another glance at Doc's chest.  Doc just held Bdubs closer causing him to move away slightly.

Doc grimaced quickly but Bdubs didn't notice instead he heard an apple fall and he grabbed it before it fell out of the trailer.

"Who dropped the apple?" He asked holding it in his hand while holding Doc.

"It's mine." A young girl said. He got up and gave it to her before sitting back down next to Doc and Doc moved closer.

"You're a good person," Doc said gently.
"Thanks." He said putting a hand on Doc's thigh.

Doc smiled as they reached the barn that was turned into a small shopping center. On the patio, they were playing Bluegrass and Bdubs started searching the tables below for a seat while Doc held him gently and led him up the flight of stairs leading up to the shop.

Bdubs felt squished between the bodies behind and in front of him. He made sure no one was looking at them and gently put his hand on Doc's stomach.

Doc put his hand on Bdubs' and moved it to his ribs and smiled down at Bdubs.

"Ich Liebe Ditch," Doc confessed with a small kiss on his head.

Bdubs held him close as they walked up to order. Doc ordered and Bdubs just stayed beside him, trying not to panic.

Doc ran his hand on Bdubs' back and Bdubs relaxed despite himself.

"Ich Liebe Ditch means I love you? Right?" Bdubs asked.

Doc just laughed. "Yes, it does."

Doc asked for another straw and smiled down at Bdubs.

As they went down the stairs Bdubs was tasked with carrying the cider so he didn't cling to Doc on the way down.

Doc hopped down and his chest showed every time but Bdubs didn't steal glances at him. Instead, he stared at Doc's hand before reaching for it.

"I love you," Bdubs confessed with his voice breaking.

"For my personality or body?" Doc asked.

"I love you for both reasons. The reason I invited you today was that I wanted to beat you at a strategy game. Your structure was the reason I stopped my strategy."  Bdubs said honestly.

Doc just laughed. "I'm wearing more crop tops."

"Once we're 18 you should stop wearing shirts altogether," Bdubs said with a smile.

Doc looked at him with a smile before they sat down and they then shared the large apple cider.

Bdubs looked at Doc's lips and realized he was wearing lipstick. Bdubs tried not to stare but after a few glimpses, he had to rip away from he decided it was time.

"Can we kiss?" Bdubs asked more quietly than he would have liked. Doc stared at him and Bdubs was breathing faster.

"Do you want to?" Doc asked.

Bdubs nodded and Doc leaned over the table and Bdubs did the same. Doc pecked him on the lips and he pecked back.

Bdubs was thrilled by the feeling and held Doc's hand on the table.

"So we're lovers?" Doc asked after he drank more of the cider.

Bdubs nodded. "Lovers sound nice."
