Naruto's POV
I saw her walking down the hall with Hinata. She was beautiful with her (H/L), (H/C) hair that seemed to shine with elegance. Her eyes were a stunning (e/c) that reminded me of the warmth from the sun, but there was always a hidden darkness behind them.
"She is so popular...." I muttered with a sigh. "I doubt she'd ever go out with a loser like me..." I said as I opened my locker to find a small note.
"Dear Naruto,
I doubt you've ever noticed me, but I'm starting to think there's no hope for me. You might see me as popular and happy but it's all an act. Every night I hurt myself because the pain of knowing more than I should makes me wish I was dead. I see how Hinata looks at you and I know she had more of a chance with you than I ever will. Plus you like Sakura so either way I stand no chance... I know it's a bit late to tell you. I've already made up my mind, by the time you've figured this out, I'll probably be dead, floating down the river in a blanket of red. I wish I would have told you sooner, before my world went black and blue from myself, but I know what I'm about to do and I can't stop myself. I love you. I'm sorry.

My mind went haywire as I looked around frequently. I ran back in the direction of where Hinata had gone. I spotted her alone at her locker.
"Hinata!" I called as I ran towards her my heart racing.
"N-Naruto?" She asked softly.
"Where's (Y/N)?!" I said quickly looking around.
"S-She went to the river for inspiration for a book shes writing..." She said quietly.
"Do you know where it is?!" I said. She nodded gently. "Come on. Tell me where to go. I'll drive us." I said grabbing her hand and dragging her to my car. I hopped in the drivers seat and started the car while Hinata gave me directions. I sped through the town as though my life depended on it, well maybe not my life. I frowned as I got to the river and followed Hinata's directions as best I could and after 2 minutes of searching I finally found her. Her face was tear streaked, and her arms bloody. I felt my heart drop as I raced over to her, she was breathing but just barely. I took off my shirt and ripped it into long strips of cloth as I began wrapping her arms up tightly to stop the bleeding. I was panicking more and more as I noticed her face paling quite quickly.
"(Y/N) If you die I'll never forgive you you idiot!" I yelled. I saw her eyes flutter gently before she opened her eyes.
"N-Naruto?" She asked as I picked her up and carried her to my car.
"I swear If you ever try this shit again I'll kill you myself you freaking idiot!" I yelled at her. She smiled weakly at me from my arms as I raced her to the hospital. "I love you too much for you to try to die on me!" I yelled as I felt a tear roll down my cheek. "When you survive this bull crap I'll be your boyfriend and I'll make sure you're never upset like this again." I said quietly as I ran out into the parking lot with her still in my arms. I ran into the hospital and as soon the attendant saw me she called for a doctor.

It had been four days and she still hadn't woken up, I looked over at her with tears in my eyes. "Why? Why didn't you tell me how badly you were hurting?" I said as I held her hand and looked down. "I could have helped you. Why couldn't you have just told me? I could have solved everything!" I said as I began to break down, finally giving up. She had cut too much, she probably wasn't coming back. I was about to leave until she squeezed my hand. I looked up into her soft (e/c) eyes. She was smiling gently as she opened up her arms. I practically jumped up into her bed as I hugged her. I was crying even more as I nuzzled my face into her neck. "You're such an idiot (y/n)!" I said.

"Yeah, but I'm your idiot. At least that's what you said isn't it?" She asked. I pulled away and smashed our lips together.

"Of course. You're my (h/c) Idiot, (y/n)."
