I was walking through town quietly looking for my boyfriend of four years. Normally I would have just waited until he came to my apartment to talk to him but there was something incredibly important I needed to ask him. I found him sitting at a park bench.
"Gray!!!" I called out to him. He jumped up and looked around until he saw me.
"Oh hey (Y/N)." Gray said as he walked closer. "I actually had something to ask you...." He mumbled looking down.
"I did too. You go first." I said with a smile. He nodded and got down on one knee and pulled out a black velvet box with a diamond ring inside of it. "Will you marry me?" He asked. I stared at the box for a moment with a blank face. Apparently that moment was a moment too long.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I pulled out my own little velvet box and opened it to show an identical ring.
"I was gonna ask you the same thing." I said. Suddenly I heard Natsu cracking up over to my left.
"You two are hopeless!" He laughed. I blushed gently before Gray stood up and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"No. You're hopeless Flame brain. At least I got my woman."
"Whatever. If anything I wear the pants stripper boy." I giggled.
"Hey!" I heard Natsu laugh again so I glared over at him.
"Don't act like I haven't caught you doing things you shouldn't be Dragon boy." I said with an evil smirk. He gulped before I waved my hand. "Now be gone or I'll tell the whole guild everything." And with that he was gone. Leaving me with my new fiance.
