(Please note this starts out when you are six)

*3rd POV*

(Y/N) walked along the road quietly she was quite shy and frequently didn't talk to people.

"Hey You!" A small Green Haired boy yelled at the small girl. She jumped slightly and looked up, looking around.

"Y-You mean me?" She asked pointing to herself. He nodded eagerly and pointed to himself.

"Yeah! I'm Zoro! I'm gonna be the best swordsman in the world someday!" he yelled which made her flinch slightly.

"I'm (Y/N)...." She said glancing down at the basket she was carrying before looking back up at him.

"What cha got there (Y/N)!?" He asked hoping down from the rock he was carrying.

"M-My lunch.... W-Would you like some?" She asked timidly.

"Nah! You're pretty small! You should eat as much as you can to get stronger!" He said despite the fact his stomach growled. She smiled slightly and sat down on a flat rock.

"N-No. I-I insist, after all, my mother made just a bit too much for me." She said pulling out some food. Zoro contemplated this for a moment before he sat by her, a bit too close for what she was used to but she didn't mind. After all she'd never had a friend before. The two ate lunch and (Y/N) Found herself coming back day after day for an entire year with lunch, sharing her lunch with him. But then a band of pirates had docked at the port.

Zoro's POV

I had heard of the pirates that had docked here and went to go see them, only to find (Y/N) out cold basket still in her hand over a pirates shoulder.

"Leave her alone!" I screamed at the pirate pulling out the wooden sword I kept at my side. The pirate laughed lightly and scoffed.

"Go play with your toys boy. This girl is our property now." The man laughed. (Y/N) Groaned softly and started to open her eyes. Her eyes widened as she saw me before she looked around and smiled softly and tossed me her basket.

"Run Zoro! I'll meet up with you eventually." She yelled. It was the first time she had not stuttered in front of me, let alone yell. I caught the basket easily and looked at her with tears threatening to spill from my eyes.

"I'll come back for you (Y/N)!" I yelled running off to get a real sword.

Your POV

I smiled slightly as Zoro ran off but it quickly vanished as the man smacked my head hard.

"Shut your mouth you bitch. You aren't going to mean up with him ever again." He said carrying me onto the ship. I frowned slightly as I watched my only friend run off to find some help. The man threw me roughly onto the ships deck, cause me to squeak out in pain. He then thoroughly tied me up.

Twelve years Later~ still your pov

I smirked slightly as I looked down at the pirate captain I knew by the name of Jadon.

"So after all these years you're leaving me?" He said with a frown.

"I was never really yours Jadon. I was kid napped. So. I'm leaving. For good. Maybe you'll get lucky and find as good as fighter as I am." I said saluting the captain before walking out, the back of my sword touching my neck. I walked to the end of the deck and jumped off onto the land of the drum kingdom. We'd been here about a week and the villagers had warmed up to me so I figured I'd stay a while. I signed softly as I walked through the snow up to the village.

"PIRATES!" One man yelled causing my alarm to spike was my old crew really going to attack this early. I looked at old man Mayor as I liked to call him and raised an eyebrow. "You want me to help?" I asked. He shrugged gently and I nodded. I walked back to the harbor with the rest of the villagers to see my old crew gone and a new pirate ship approaching. I waited patiently until they were close enough for me to yell at them.

"STOP WHERE YOU ARE IF YOU WANT TO LIVE! THIS ISLAND DOESNT ALLOW ANY SORT OF PIRATE TO DOCK!" I yelled loudly. A girl looked up at me and frowned gently worry was obviously spread across her face.

"Please! We need a doctor! Our navigator is sick!" She yelled. Due to the truth-truth fruit I could tell she wasn't lying. I looked over to old man Mayor and nodded gently

"She's not lying. Let them in. Besides then I could get a ride home." I said with a smile. Old man Mayor nodded gently and I looked back to the girl.

"ALRIGHT YOU MAY DOCK BUT IF YOU EVEN THINK OF PILLAGING THIS VILLAGE WE WILL KILL YOU IN AN INSTANT." I yelled as everyone lowered their weapons. The ship docked and a few people got out, I signed softly and ran my hand through my hair.

"Okay. Who here is the captain?" I asked looking them each up and down.

"I am! I am captain Usopp!" One with a long nose yelled. I could feel the lies radiating off him.

"Kay so it's not you." I said simply and looked over them.

"It's me! I'm captain Monkey D. Luffy!" The short one said. I signed seeing the truth floating over his head.

"Good. In exchange for convincing the villagers to let you dock, you must get me back to my home land. I have a.... Friend waiting for me there." I said. The boy thought for a minute but nodded.

"Can you play a music?" he asked. I frowned slightly and shook my head. "Are you a doctor?" He asked. I shook my head again. "Can you sing?" He asked and I blushed slightly, I hadn't sang in years.

"Yes. But it's been a while." I said and he smiled brightly.

"Great! You can be the entertainer!" He said cheerfully and patted me on the shoulder. I rolled my eyes and signed softly.

"Whatever. Old Man Mayor here will take you back to town. I'll check out the ship since I'll be staying with you for a while." I said, Luffy nodded but the two girls looked disapproving. I shrugged it off and walked towards their ship. I signed softly as I saw a man with a black bandana around his head.

Zoro POV

I was lifting weight again when I heard a sigh. I put down my weights and turned towards the person.

"Who are you?" I asked my eyes narrowed.

"I'm the new entertainer. Or at least according to Luffy." The girl said. I gave her the once over and sighed.

"Fine. Just leave me alone. I'm busy training."

"For what?"

"To be the greatest swordsman." I said picking the weight back up. She scoffed slightly but walked closer. I could see a bit of (h/c) sticking out from underneath her (f/c) hat and her (e/c) seemed oddly familiar.

"You sound a lot like a friend I used to know." She said sitting on the railing.

"Yeah well I'm pretty sure I don't know you." I said concentrating on the weights.

"Fine. My name is (Y/N)." She said sticking out her hand. I signed and put my weights down. I looked over at her curiously almost.

"You have the same name as a friend I used to know." I mumbled shaking her hand.

"Okaaaay. But that still doesn't tell me your name. Or would you rather me call you Mr. Ego?" She asked. I sighed softly and crossed my arms.

"Zoro." I said simply.

"Wait. Zoro. As in Roronoa Zoro?" She asked suddenly up and in my face. I nodded in confusion. She swiftly took off my bandana and smiled brightly.

"It is you!" she said hugging me. "Its me! (Y/N) (L/N)!" She said excitedly. My eyes widened as I took off her hat, suddenly recognizing her. I quickly hugged her back, I could feel tears starting to well up in my eyes. How long had it been? 12 years? More? Less? I couldn't even remember.

"Heh I guess I don't need to head home then." She said obviously overjoyed to see me again.

"Yeah. You've certainly come out of that stuttering little shell of yours." I said pulling away. I smiled down at her And she huffed slightly.

"I wasn't that bad!" She said clearly upset. I laughed slightly and messed up her hair. Jeez she's a lot cuter than she was when we were six... Especially now that she has...((Pervert. Bad Zoro. Stop thinking of Reader-Chan's boobs. Zoro: I can't help it! Besides you're writing this!)) I started to blush and looked away from her.

Your Pov

I tilted my head slightly and looked at him confused.

"What's wrong with your face?" I asked poking his red cheek.

"Nothing!" He said. I could see the lie rolling off of him. He was also sending out waves out embarrassment. Was he embarrassed to see me? Did I say something wrong? I frowned slightly and started to walk away, the only bad thing about eating both the truth-truth fruit and the feel-feel fruit is that you can't tell what they're thinking, you can only tell what they're feeling.I sighed softly and went to walk down the steps but Zoro grabbed my wrist. I turned around quickly and just as I faced him our lips connected. My eyes widened slightly but after a moment I kissed back, lacing my arms around his neck. I pulled away after a moment and looked up at him and smiled slightly. I could just see the loving waves rolling off of him.

"I love you too Zoro." I said as he went to say some thing. I laughed lightly as he started to blush.

"Yeah whatever." He said rolling his eyes.
