Random Game One Shot
Yeah.. I wanted to write something involving my game characters. So, here we are.

"And then I had to run out before they caught me!" I exclaimed.
"And where was this?" Eirika asked, looking a little tired as she stared deep into the campfire.
"Almost every town that I've been too.. at least out west."
"Every single town?" Delta asked, disbelief in his eyes.
I let out a small embarrassed laugh, rubbing the back of my head." Heh, yeah... I'm not the best with money."
"I swear, Sara, if we hadn't come along you'd be locked up somewhere." Quizzy said, just finishing his dinner from earlier.
I stuck my head up high, crossing my arms as I did so. "I've been trained in the art of stealth and speed! No one could catch me!"
Eirika looked up from the flames and over at me. "If I do recall, haven't you been caught before?"
"Eh...erm.. I, uh.." Crap...
Quizzy and Delta just started laughing, while the green haired elf smiled at me. I sat there, red.

I found it hard to breath, the smoke finding it's way into my lungs and letting minimal air through. I came to a stream, jumping into in and swimming against the current as best as I could, eventually surfacing on the other side of the bank. Delta stand on the other side, pulling his tail close to him as he eyed the water with fear. The fire was approaching him rapidly, I had to do something.
"Come on, Delta! Just swim over!" I yelled over the roar of the fire.
"I-I've never been that good of a swimmer, though!" He yelled back, barely audible.
"Jump in and I'll help you over! Just do it before you become roasted kitty!"
The nekojin hesitated a little little before giving in and jumping ear first into the water. At that particular moment the water seemed to start raging faster and pushing him down the stream. I jumped in too, swimming with the current towards the panicking Delta, fighting against it. I finally reached him, but not before we could be launched over a water fall. We fell, sharp rocks piercing the ground, we seem to fall in slow motion, inching our way closer to death.
I woke up with gasp and heavy breathing. Eirika stirred sitting up mid yawn, rubbing her eye.
"You okay Sara?" She asked, looking tiredly over at me.
I scrambled out of my sleeping bag in a cold panic, and nearly took the tent with me as I face planted into the cold, dry dirt. I stood up, looking up at the sky and seeing an ember float by.
"Damn it.." I mumbled to myself. "I had hoped it was just a bad dream.." I whipped around, sticking my head back in to see Eirika slowly making her way out of her sleeping bag.
"Eirika! I need you to help start packing, we're gonna get moving now!"
She shot me an odd glance, by didn't have time to question as I ran over to the boy's tents and tore the door open.
"Wake up! We gotta get a move on!" I screeched, and as soon as they stirred I started helping Eirika with the tent.
"Why do we gotta get going?" Quizzy asked as he emerged from the tent.
I was about to answer, until I could smell smoke drifting towards us. My eyes were frozen to the sky as more black smoke drifted in.
"No time to explain.. Just leave the stuff and run! Goddammit run!" I said taking off towards the dirt path. I could hear the footsteps behind me as I ran but I didn't slow down. At least, not until I tripped on a stone, scraping my ankle and causing blood to trickle out of a small gash.
Delta, who was the furthest ahead, stopped to help me up. I remembered what happened, and panic took control once again.
"Delta! Keep going! I'll be fine it's just a little cut! Stay with Eirika and Quizzy!"
He looked at me with sadness, but I didn't care as of now. When he still didn't go, I gave him a push which got him going. I stumbled up, looking back to see a wall of flames and no sign of the elf or wizard anywhere. I could only hope for the best, as I ran forward, soon passing Delta.

Don't know why I did this to them.. I just felt like it. Hope you enjoyed this little random thing.
By the way, a nekojin is a cat person.
