This is for my friend from school, Madison, who I may or may not have accidentally made fall in love with DC Comics.... Oops! And now she has requested I write her a story involving her and Robin... And she still won't get a Wattpad account.. I love her but... Come on.. *Says evilly* Join us.... We have cookies!

Anyways... This is a Young Justice one shot.. ENJOY my stubborn and not so stubborn friends!

 -----Madison's POV-----

I opened my locker in the halls of the prestigious school, Gotham Academy. I put my books in the metal box and closer the door, only to reveal a blue-eyed, black haired boy standing behind the door. I jumped, letting out a little shriek, making music with his laughter.

"Dick!" I whined. "I've told you not to sneak up on me like that!"

After he got over his laughing fit he replied. "Sorry, Maddie. But you're so gullible!"

"If you were sneaked up on by a 14 year old ninja boy, you would too." I said as we started walking towards the gate.

Dick Grayson was a 10th year student, like I am. He had black hair and dark blue eyes that really matched the academy's uniform. He, as well as Sara, had been my closest friends since the beginning of the year.

Speaking of which, said friend came racing up to us. "Hey, Rich, Mad'."

Dick's expression grew annoyed, he hated being called Rich or Richard. "I've told you to stop calling me that!"

We laughed and joked around as we walked out of the school, Dick went home and Sara and I walked towards Sara's house.

-----Dick's POV----- 

I put on my mask, and headed toward the secret entrance behind the library. Bruce was smart, but he needs to get more original. I headed down stairs, only to be stopped by the doorbell. I guess the Team is just going to have to wait a little. I took off my mask and opened the door, accidentally opening it fully to show the rest of my costume. Under the porch light I could see a girl figure. It was Maddie, looking dumbfounded.

"Madison? Wh-What are you doing here?" I asked. This could end badly.

"Madison? Dick, are you alright? You never call me that. And what's with the Robin costume?" The wind blew her short, dark brown hair towards her face. Her hands were in her jacket pockets, a choker around her neck. Her head was slightly tilted in question.

"Um.." Think, Dick! Think! "Early Halloween costume?" 

"Really? In the middle of January? Come on, I know you can do better than that." Dick, you idiot! 

She shivered as another winter wind blew against her. "Um, come in. It's too cold out right now." I opened the door more to let her in, closing the door behind her. "So... What are you doing here?"

Before she could answer, the book self slid open. Bruce walked through it, looking at some papers. "Richard, what are you doing? I told you to come down to the bat-" He cut off when he saw Maddie sitting on the couch, and me in my costume.

"Whoa! Cool! A secret room behind a bookshelf!" Maddie exclaims, racing up to the door after it closed completely. Great, Dick! You didn't think to not bring her into the study? The one with the door!

"Richard.. Can I talk to you in the living room?" Bruce asked, walking towards the next room. I followed. "Who is she? And, more importantly, why is she here? The Team is expecting you!" He whisper yelled.

"That's Madison T., she's a friend, from school. She came without me-" I cut off realizing that he had said the Team was expecting me and not us. "What do you mean me? Aren't you coming?"

"I have some business to attend to. You will be going alone, so get rid of her!" With that he walked out the front door, slamming it. I poked my head into the study and saw Maddie still looking at the bookshelf. I put my mask on and walked over to her.

"Uh, Maddie?" Play it cool, Dick. Play it cool. 

"Yeah, Dick?" She turned around, her eyebrows raising when she saw my mask. She didn't say anything though.

"I.. I've got something to show you."

-----Maddie's POV----- 

I followed Dick around the corner, against the wind. He had walked into an alley, and into a old telephone booth. He looked at me and motioned for me to enter. I did. It was roomy-er than I thought.

"Robin.." He looked over at me. "And one guest." A light scanned us, then before I new it, a woman's voice was saying random numbers and repeating what Dick had said.

I walked forward, Dick did too but farther. Then a yellow and red blur raced up to him. "Robin! Dude, good to see ya again!" The boy looked back at me, his face growing serious and pointing at me. "Who's she?"

"Um, well, you see-" Before he could spit it out, four others came running towards us. I hid behind Dick.

The darker skinned one saw me and he looked at a nervous Dick. "Who is this, and why is she in The Cave?"

He stepped aside to show me, still in a hiding position. "This is Maddie." Then to me he added, while pointing to each person. "Maddie, this is Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Artemis, and Miss Martian."

He had a smile on his face, but I could see the doubt and worry written on his face. Even with the mask there were two words that were easily read from his expression, I'm dead.

There will most likely be a part two... But until then... I hope she likes!
