The hero sighed as his skin hit the water, its arm embrace engulfing him peacefully "you look rather pleased, champion" link looked towards the giant zora and nodded with a smile "I heard the hot springs up here have healing properties! Perhaps it can heal you of what's troubling you lately" link froze. He noticed? 'You noticed?' He asked his hands moving in a smooth motion.

Sidon nodded "care to tell me what exactly is troubling you?" Link paused thinking for a moment... maybe.... 'princess zelda asked me to marry her' and just like that sidon stiffened "...what did you say?" Sidon asked, his voice changed from his relaxed upbeat self to...anxious...even sad.

'I didn't' that wasn't a lie. He had ran away on his horse before he could answer....or he simply didn't want to "oh. Are you going to say yes? I wouldn't blame you. She's a wonderful person I'm sure she'll bring you much happiness" like a kick to the gut. Link felt...sad that sidon didn't.....didn't what? What did he expect him to say? Don't marry her marry me instead.... Ridiculous..... right? 'I had someone else in mind I guess' Sidon's mood worsened.

That wasn't what link wanted. "Oh. What are they like?" He asked in a fake happy tone 'well. They are quite tall' "gerudo?" Link snorted and shook his head 'taller' "taller than a gerudo!?" He nodded 'they have a gentle heart, and a dazzling smile' sidon scratched his fin confused. Who on earth did link fall for? 'They really like fish.' "A zora?" Link paused but nodded before continuing, he was getting afraid.

But he wanted sidon to know at the same time 'they are very strong. And aren't afraid to flaunt it' "a guard then...oh is it-" 'not done yet' "sorry sorry right. Continue" '....their eyes are unique to say the least. One could stare at them forever' sidon was silent. Listening to link talk about his crush. At least it was a zora. If they got married he could still be able to see his friend. '..they protect me from muzu' sidon smiled.

That was good someone to protect his beloved hero from that nasty old man '...they are....not female' not female.... "oh! You like men!" Link nodded "is it bazz?" Link stuck out his tongue and shook his head 'bazz is sweet but he's not the guy I like' sidon hummed.

There weren't many zora that link has met that he's known of.... maybe he met one that was outside of the domain? 'He is very. Very. Very. Handsome' sidon snorted "more handsome than the zora prince?" Link shook his head 'if he could do that it would break reality' sidon snorted "I'll take that as a compliment" link smiled, he was now sitting on sidon's lap.

'He......he always thinks he needs to out up this... shield. Pretending he's fine all the time.... even...when he misses someone' sidon frowned, he related to that. "Perhaps they just need a bit of a push from someone as amazing as you my dear champion" link smiled 'they are also very stupid.' "Ouch. How so?" 'I've flirted with him to his face and he didn't get the message' sidon snorted. How dumb could this guy be? 'He also is the reason why I dyed my zora armor red' sidon frowned.

He had hoped the reason he dyed it was because of him.... wait... "didn't you say you wanted to match when we swim?" Link nodded 'I did' link stared at him, his blue eyes pierced his soul. Unique eyes tall. Zora. Buff. Kind. Has trouble with his emotions. Reason why he dyed his zora armor. ".....link...." link looked down at the water.

There it was. He had figured it out. The zora prince gently tilted the hero's head to look him in the eyes " ...is it me my pearl?" Pearl? Links face flushed. That was new. Shaking away the intrusive thoughts he nodded. "Oh link...." here it comes. Don't be disappointed. He is a prince after all.... who would provide an heir? Certainly not- his thoughts were cut off by the zora's lips against his.

'Sidon?' The zora smiled softly, rubbing a thumb across the hylians cheek "yes my sapphire?" Link blushed. 'Why?' The zora snorted "well I'd rather not be stupid for a second longer now can I?" Link looked down 'but. I can't give you an heir. Muzu wouldn't allow it and your father-' "my father has been pestering me to confess to you since he found out I even liked you" link stared in surprise 'really?' The king wanted sidon to be with him? But why? "And don't you worry about an heir. I'm sure a talented sorcerer can figure out that bit" sidon winked, making the hero blush "for now... let us enjoy eachother... alright pearl?" Link nodded nuzzling into the zora.

"And you can deal with princess zelda later. For now your mine. And until either of us dies, mine you shall stay. And yours I shall." Link smiled softly resting his eyes as he enjoyed the zora's pleasant temperature "I love you my little pearl..." 'I love you too, my shark'
