As long as the road goes I must go on.' was my last thought. Breathing hard and grasping onto the nearest thing. 'Can't give up now' I muttered when I saw the light at a short distance. Distance that can be covered with a will to live, that I need right now. Ever since I entered the tunnel I have felt only just suffocation and nothing else. Felt my lungs slowly burning up as if I was in deep waters. Gagging at the disgusting smell of the damped tunnel, I keep my pace, not wanting to lose it without trying. Hearing the birds singing their melody, though very feeble, was enough for me to know there was still life out in the world. I didn't know that just a mere sound could light up the dark tunnel I was in. Joy, was one the emotion that was coursing through my veins now. Knowing that the human race has not been extinguished yet fought all the other thoughts in my head. Laughing at all the thoughts I had on my mind and all the thoughts that invaded my peace of mind in the already gloomy place, I increase my pace of walking towards the end of the tunnel. Memories of all the time I spent with others peacefully was playing in front of me. Not all memories can be relived is what we are used to hearing. Often, these memories fade away with all the new ones we make. Panic washes over me. Queerly, there was nothing at first glance. Restless is the word used to describe myself now. Suddenly, everything began to fade away. Tunnel starts closing on me. Undeniably I was dying. Varying my thoughts on my last words, I take my final breath. What if these are my last words, the thought crosses my mind as I think about what to say. " Xenia. Yuiitsu " Zap! And I was to groaning and struggling to open my eyes after the dream I had just to find myself sleeping amongst a tunnel's wall.
