Memories

Jason's POV

"Leo! Pass me the eggs!" Whoops. Mistake. I was trying to bake a cake for Piper's 17th birthday, just to give her something special.
Leo tossed me the eggs instead of handing them and I caught them just in time. But in the process, I mess up the egg whites, letting the egg yolk drop into the whites.
"Leo!" I shout. I was a mess. My glasses were so dirty, I could barely see through them, my hair was covered in flour and sugar, don't ask why, and not a single square foot of my body was unmarked.
After quite a few mistakes, I finally get the cake in the oven. "Whew." I wiped my face off while I waited.
"Hey! Jason! Can I try the frosting?" Leo reached in for the batch of frosting I made. In slow mo, I could see Leo's greasy fingers dip into the perfect white frosting.
"Nooooooooo!"
"Dude, Jason, you okay? I'm pretty sure the whole camp heard you in the kitchens." Percy popped his head in.
"Percy? Can you get Leo away? Just for a while once I finish the cake." I groan. Percy gave me a thumbs up and dragged Leo out the kitchens.
"Come on, flame boy. You got work to do." Percy dragged Leo out by the ear.
I sighed. It was finally peace.

"Happy birthday, Pipes." I knelt down on her gravestone. On it was a single rose, elegant and new.
I still remembered all those memories I had spent with her. "I love you Pipes." I whispered.
Jason. A soft breeze froze on my shoulder. I could feel it was Piper.
Remember me. I'm going for rebirth now. She said. That broke my heart.
I felt that she left and that shattered my heart. I couldn't live another day without her.
T-T
I smiled as I brought Piper to the beach at Cam Half Blood. It was the day we came back from the quest, and I had to do this.
"Jason, what did you bring me here for?" She asked. Her eyes were blindfolded.
I took it off. She gasped. She saw the layout I had made, a romantic sunset picnic.
"Jason! You didn't have to!"
"Watch. There's more." I whistled. The nymphs and the aurai made scented breezes that changed every few seconds. Then, I held her by the waist and shot up into the sky, above the clouds and Piper in my arms.
I leaned my head down for a kiss. We held there for forever, not bothering that it was almost night.
T-T
I remembered fondly. Before I knew it, I was crying, sad yet happy at the same time.
Piper had left. Before that day, she had promised me that we would stay together, forever.
