Why Us? - Star Blaze

Casey's heels clakced on the stone cold ground as she walked into the bottom floor off the elevator holding her clipboard close. "Subject 0023: Kathy Pike." Casey said out loud reading the meatal sigh next to the first room, she pushed up her small black round glasses and took a breath as she ran her ID card over the small black electronic lock, the large still door opened slowly with a creek.

Another scientist for test, I leaned back in my meatal chair that was bolted down to the floor and moved my hands into my lap the chains of the hand cuffs connected to the still table clanged together as the dirty blonde hair women sat down. "Hello Kathy." She said with a smile a stupid smile as if life was sunshine and rainbows. "Your not Mr. Ryan." My blue eyes met her green ones. "Correct I'm not your regular check up person." My eyes narrowed on her. "Check up person. Is that what you guys call it?" She moved a hand up to her head peace. "It'll be fine cameras off, and recorders." She took off her ear peace, as I heard the beep of the cameras turning off, her face was serious now. "Now me and you both know this place is a torcher zone, but my job is giving you and all your friends a chance at a real life out from underground." My eyes widened at her in shock as she held out a hand. "Names Casey Elm." She said her full name shocking me as I shook her hand. "You got them to turn off everything?" She smiled. "Yes I did so they can't see or hear anything whatever you tell me stays in here only between you and me." She said so sweetly but I wasn't going to fall for it. "Your going to report everything back to them like a loyal dog aren't you?" Anger was in my eyes like always. "Yes I am but not what you tell me I already have my "report" on all of you done I am here for you and your friends nothing else. Oh and I will be sure to make it sound like a real report so I can get you guys out of here." She told me placing her clipboard in front of me to read I pulled it to me and eyed her trying to see where the real papers are and then she stood up. "I promise you those are the real things." She opened her lab coat and dug in her pockets so I would know she wasn't lying, I watched her as she sat down and then looked down opening the folder to my report page and as read over the reports I saw that the scientists who had tried to torcher answers out of me had wrote everything from my reaction to what they used to torcher me and they had detail. "They're sick monsters for hurting all of you like that they really need to rest in hell." I threw the clipboard on the table I didn't want to read the other files I couldn't read how they hurt everyone, when I looked back up at her after she said that I saw the coldness in her eye.  "If you have the report done what type of questions will you be asking?" She smiled to my question. "Everything about you like favorite foods or colors, your fashion. Me and my friend want to be sure when you come to live with us that your rooms have enough clothing for a week until we go shopping and we want to know what things you hate and things you love." I looked up at her seeing the care in her eyes. "Okay I tell you everything."

Casey's POV: It was hard to get her trust but I have it and won't brake it the next might be a lot harder to get trust from.

I heard the door open as a women wearing heels walked in, I couldn't see her because of my blindness but I heard her. "You must be Hanna, the one who's blind?" I said nothing, did nothing, just sat there my head down, and then I heard the small tiny beep of her ear peace as she spoke into it. "Do the same as before." She said, and then I heard the sound of all the cameras turning off and recorders and for the first time in the years since I have been here the annoying little nose that the cameras made when they were on was off and no more static form the stupid recorders, I looked up looking straight I think no madder looking straight or not I knew I was smiling something I thought I would never do again. "It must be a relief getting to hear a quite room for once." Her voice was sweet and caring. "Y-Y-Yeah." It has been years since I have said something that wasn't just screaming stop to the evil women who usually saw me. "I didn't think you would say a thing to me I'm glad you did. Those people should have never locked a sweet blind girl like you under the ground." I knew she met what she said my powers gave me the ability to know what the difference is in a lying voice and truth voice. "T-They never call me a girl the treat me like an object." I could fell tears running down my face but I didn't know why. "Well I'm not going to be that way. I am her to get you and your friends out of here, and hopefully you can smell fresh air again and hear all the animals, but before I get you out of her explain to my everything that makes you happy and upset I want to be sure you feel like your at home again a real home, and my friend right now is working on getting enough money to pay for eye sugary." I was so happy to hear the words eye sugary. "Really? You mean that?" I felt more tears starting to fall from my eyes. "Really." She put her warm gentle hand on mine.

Casey's POV:  That pour girl I hope we can help her as soon as possible I want her to be able to live her life the best she can she was the one who inspired my sister to help me take care of these people my sister wants to be there for her.

My hands where shaking when I heard the beep of the door opening. "Don't hurt me I beg you." I looked up at a woman she had nothing on her that could hurt me her hair was dirty blonde in pigtails and she wore black round thick glasses that covered her leafy green eyes. "I'm not going to I just want to talk that's all." I looked down at my hand in my lap that wouldn't stop shaking. "How can I believe you?" I asked her, fear in my eyes as they met her's she put her hand to her ear. "Do it now."  My eyes filled with fear as she sat down. "What do you mean by that!?" She looked at me caring. "I got the basters who put you down her to turn off all the cameras and recorders so it's just you and me I won't hurt you I'm here to help I mean it." I shook my head. "They all say "help" that they will help when they ask for questions and when we say something they don't believe us and torcher us how am I supposed to believe the shit you say your just like the rest of them!" I wasn't going to let her fool me. "Noah is your name is your name right?" She asked. "You know you read the papers!" I looked at her tears in my eyes. "Noah you don't have to believe me, I'm not here to ask you the things they wanted out of you me and my sister are working to get you guys out of here so you can have lives, and because your are fourteen when we have you in our care you'll be able to go to school have friend real friends and-" "You're lying!" I cut her off, did she really think I would believe that stupid shit. "Noah I swear to you I'm not, but as I said you don't have to believe me, if you don't want to answer my questions it's okay and if you don't I will have to stay in here for 30 munities that way they think I got answers from you okay?" Her eyes were caring so caring it looked like she wanted to cry for me. "Y-Y-You w-won't hurt me?" I asked in shock. "No I would never do such a thing to you or anyone else." I calmed down. "What are your questions?"

Casey's POV: He was scared for his life and I would be to after all the horrible things these  heartless people put him through, I will get him out of here I will.

I pushed up my black square glasses and started taping on the table. "I'm bored!" I yelled at the recorders, and then the door opened, I watched as the woman walked into the room as a strand of my red hair fell in my face. "Who are you?" I asked looking up at her as she sat down. "Name's Casey Elm." She held out a hand. "My names Lacy." I said shaking her hand as she put her other hand to her ear peace. "Turn them off." She said take out the ear peace. "Wait you got them to turn off the recorders and cameras?" She nodded at me. "I'm tying to get you guys out of her to live normal lives." My jaw dropped. "Really!?" I sat up in the chair. "Yes really, but I need you to answer questions like what you love and hate." I smiled brightly. "Okay ask away."

Casey's POV: Wow she could care less about being down here It just bores her having nothing to do all day but eat.

I lead back in my chair and took a breath as the door opened, I thought it was Sally the regular bitch who was my "Watcher" but instead I saw a dirty blond with black round glasses. "Who the hell are you?" I asked putting my feet on the tabel as she sat down. "Name's Casey Elm, and you are?" She had a smooth voice. "You know." I said with a smile as I watched her move a hand to her ear peace. "Now." She pulled turned it off and threw it to the table. "James I would like you to know that all the cameras and recorders are off." I eyed her taking my feet off the table and resting my arms on it as I leaned closer to her. "What game are you playing?" I asked our eyes meeting. "Nothing, I'm telling the truth." I smiled and held one finger up and made a small tornado. "They don't have renders on for you?" She asked confused. "No they do but me, Willow, and Edwin aren't as effected by it as the others." I said with a lazy smile. "Ahhh, well I'm here because I'm trying to get you and your friends a better life above the ground." I raised an eyebrow at her and laughed. "Good joke." She smiled tightly. "It's true and you don't have to believe me but here." She tossed her clipboard on the table making me roll my eyes. "Do you really think showing me your notes on us would make me believe you?" She sighed looking down and taking of her glasses. "No but maybe this will." She looked back up Her green eyes meeting mine turn into an electorate blue looking like small bolts of lightning flashed through them, my back straightened immediately. "Y-You're one of us?!" She put back her glasses her eyes green again. "Yes and so is my sister" she paused and leaned forward. "We have been working on trying to get you guys out for months now and we finally made it to here." I stared at her bright smile feeling warmth inside myself. "Okay I believe you what do you want to know."

Casey's POV: He was quite difficult let's hope these next two are not as much as him.

I sighed hearing the door open as I looked down. "Good day Mr. Alan. " said looking up at a woman as she sat down. "Hey there cutie." She sighed and put hand to her ear. "Now." I gave her a flirtatious smile as she took off her ear piece. "Edwin my name is Casey  Elm." She held out a hand and grabbed it slowly kissing her hand. "Pleasure to meet you." She pulled her hand from mine and pushed up her glasses her beautiful green eyes meeting mine. "All the cameras and recorders are off anything you say in here stays in here." I raised an eyebrow. "Who are you?" I ask intrigued by the cameras be info off and her amazing smile. "Me and my sister want to get you guys out of here and above ground to have a somewhat normal life again." I rested my head on my hand and sighed with a small laugh. "Nice one." Her smile disappeared replaced with a very serious face. "I'm not lying and because I want to get you guys out of here I need to get to get to know you." I quickly put my hand on her shoulder tightly. "If we get out of here and you hurt anyone I will burn you alive." I thought I would make her scared to death but instead her smile came back. "And If it comes to that we can if lightning is better than fire." I leaned back. "Let's get to one another."

Casey's POV: He was quite the flirt and her was a really odd guy he'll be hang with a lot of different girls a night.

I sighed sitting straight up my hand and legs locked to the metal chair unable to do anything but sit a stare. I smiled as the door opened seeing a blonde walk into the room and she is definitely an idiot blondie thinking she would be able to get shit out of me. "Hello Willow." I laughed. "You aren't getting anything out of me I'm honestly surprised that you got the guts to ever try an interrogate me." She put her hand to her ear. "Now." It went quiet a moment. "I'm sure she won't hurt me." I smiled happily a she took off her ear piece and sat it on the table along with her clipboard. "All recorders and cameras are off." I laughed at her words. "Nice lie!" Her face was serious eyes gentle. "My name is Casey Elm and me and my sister have been working on getting you guys out of here and back above ground with all the regular humans you'll be able to do more than just sit here alone with no one but yourself. All your with you I might even be able to seat up a meeting with your best friend that you called brother in the foster home." My smile was gone as I tried to brake from the chair. "You can lie about wanting to help us! You can lie about life it's self! But you can never lie about something like that!" I could feel the tears running down my face. "I'm not lying to you all me and my sister want is to give all of you a chance to be treated like humans again." She looked at me very gentle as she leaned over the table her hand touching mine. "Don't touch me!" She didn't flinch, she didn't move, she didn't even seem scared of me. She had a gentle touch and gentle voice. "I want you guys to be able to see your families at lest once after you get out of here" She paused standing up and grabbing her clipboard and walking right next to me handing the clipboard to me and flipping it to my paper. "I have all ready written something for you and everyone else I did it right be for I came down here." I read the writing slowly. "She told me all she knew." I stared at it then looked at her seeing her gentle eyes. "Could you truly seat up a meeting with my brother?" I asked trying not to cry. "Yes, I have questions you need to answer but they're all about you." I sighed what are they?"
