Ninety years ago marked the day that Naruto Uzumaki became twenty-two. Why is it important that that was when he turned a certain age, you ask? Well, it’s because after he defeated Obito and Madara Uchiha – thus ending the Third Ninja War – it was decided that he would become Hokage when he turned twenty-two.

This decision was decided after they had found the Kages, obviously. Tsunade had sacrificed her life saving the Mizukage Mei Terumi, the Kazekage Gaara Sabaku, and the Raikage A. Unfortunately, the Tsuchikage Onoki had not been able to survive and the both the Leaf and Cloud Village were now in need of leaders.

It was obvious Naruto was the only one suited for the role of the sixth Hokage, but considering his age, he’d have to wait. In the six years that followed, Kakashi took temporary leadership over the village. Once Naruto became the age they had decided upon, however, the blonde Jinchuuriki took over the role he had been dreaming about his whole life.

During his time waiting to become the sixth Hokage, he and Hinata Hyuga had finally developed the relationship the girl had sought after. She was finally given a relationship with her beloved. They married a year after he became Hokage, producing four children – their names were Minato, Jiraiya, Nagato and Yahiko. Hinata was slightly depressed that there had been no females, but she still loved her children the same.

The surviving members of the Konoha 11 also grew older and married. Kiba Inuzuka to Tenten – they had two kids, both girls: Toroki and Ken, Sakura Haruno and Rock Lee – three kids, two of which were male: Tsunade, Gai, Neji, Shikamaru Nara and Temari Sabaku – one male: Kumo, Ino Yamanaka and Sai – two males: Shin and Inomaru, Choji Akimichi and a girl from the Mist Village – one female and one male: Choko and Choya, Shino Aburame and a girl from the Cloud – one female: Shigeki. So, overall, the Konoha 11 ended up with fifteen children. But, then there was Sasuke Uchiha. He also had a kid. It was with a female of no importance, but she had given him a son, one he named after his brother.

Sasuke was….well, he never came back to Konohagakure. During Naruto’s fight with Obito and Madara, Sasuke – accompanied by Orochimaru, Juugo and Suigetsu – had returned to Konoha. He went back to his old home – the Uchiha Compound.

There, he had Orochimaru summon his parents back to life. Then, he interrogated them. They told him about the coup d’état, and it matched exactly with the knowledge he previously had.

Sasuke killed his parents yet again after that before retreating to the Hidden Sound Village, demanding Orochimaru to show him all of the secret texts he knew the snake was hiding.

But, enough about Sasuke for now. The Tailed Beasts is what this story is focused on, and you need to learn about how the first seven tails were sealed back into hosts. When the war was over and Obito and Madara were killed, the village leaders – with people substituting for Tsunade and Onoki – gathered to discuss the distribution of the Tailed Beasts.

They came to the conclusion that the Beasts would be given back to the villages that they had been stolen from. The One Tail given back to Sunagakure, the Two Tails to Kumogakure and so on. And thus, the chain of Jinchuuriki continued. Only, they Jinchuuriki were no longer treated so harshly. They were respected. After all, the entire shinobi world had been saved by a Jinchuuriki. The time of subjugation was over.

So, life of the shinobi continued.

And the Tailed Beasts had to be passed on. It was fourteen years ago that the Sixth Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, died. His wife, Hinata Hyuga, had died two years prior and the old man was fully satisfied with the life he lived. He had chosen an heir, knowing he’d be dying around the time of the child’s birth. Kiba Inuzuka’s daughter had married Namimaru Uzumaki. And they produced a girl, Kamu Uzumaki. This is the child Naruto chose to bear the title of the Nine Tails Jinchuuriki. She was the latest born Uzumaki, and only Uzumaki’s could bear the title of the Kyuubi’s Jinchuuriki.

So, that night the five month old Kamu Uzumaki had the demon sealed inside of her tiny body.

Over the next fourteen years, Kamu grew up as both an Uzumaki and an Inuzuka. She was given a canine as a partner – a red wolf-like dog with white markings she had named Keien – and was taught the signature Inuzuka Clan moves. But, she was also taught a lot of the Uzumaki Clan moves. Over the ninety years that Naruto was the Hokage, the Uzumaki Clan members had slowly migrated to the Hidden Leaf Village.

With their entire clan spread throughout the shinobi world, it took quite a while but a great quantity of the clan had arrived in the village. And so the Uzumaki blood was distributed throughout the village as people married and had children.

But, we do not need to know about the Uzumaki Clan and their likeness to rabbits. We simply need to know that Kamu Uzumaki had inherited the Kyuubi. Why? Well, because this child – just like Naruto Uzumaki before her – and the Kyuubi would soon save the shinobi world.

As Nagato Uzumaki had said, Love breeds sacrifice, which breeds hatred. As long as there is love, there is hatred. And there is pain.
