When Harry landed, his breath was knocked from his lungs and he was woken up by the heavy hit his head endured. It took him a minute before he was able to sit up, his entire body aching.

“What just happened?” He groaned, his emerald green eyes scrunched close as he tried to stop his pounding headache.

“Ee. Vee, vee.” Jumping at the foreign sound, Harry’s eyes snapped open. Standing on his chest was a weird brown and cream creature, looking completely different from any cat he had seen in his life.

The purple-eyed cat-fox was continuing it’s weird sounds, it’s front paws digging at his chest. Harry continued staring at the think, his mind completely blank.

Frowning at the strange human he had encountered, Eevee sat back on his haunches and let out another stream of yips that mostly translated to being hungry and asking who the boy was.

“Er….what exactly are you?” Harry questioned, causing the male Eevee’s chest to swell in indignation. Everyone knew what an Eevee was! His species was sought after due to the seven evolutions he possessed – well, there was seven that the human’s knew of.

“Where’d that Eevee go, I know he ran this way.” A young male voice suddenly whispered, the undergrowth rustling as he traveled through it.

The Eevee growled at the boy who kept trying to catch him. He was not worthy enough to be his trainer. If anything, the human he now sat on top of was more of a suit.

When the brown haired boy entered the small clearing the human and Eevee were in, he stopped in shock and stared wide-eyed at the scene in front of him. The Eevee he had been trying to catch all morning was sitting on top of a dazed and highly confused boy.

Frowning at the sight, the boy turned to the Eevee. “You do that?”

The Eevee shook his head, causing the brown-haired boy to look at the person he was sitting on in concern. “Alright, I know I’ve been trying to catch you all morning but we’ll put that aside for now. We need to help the guy out.”

“Vee!”
