It was too quick.

I didn't think life could end so fast. I caught us off guard.


It should have been me, not him. Not the one I loved, but now.............................................................................he's gone.


Where are my manners, my name is Deadlox or the new king of the end and Nether.


Before you could know how I became the new king, we need to start at the beginning, to when the old king was alive or when the king, my best friend and the one I loved, had his last hours before he risked his life to save me.

Ty's POV


I laid in my bed inpatient, I was waiting for Sky to get here. We had made plans to hang out with each other before my coronation.


She had been king of the Nether for about a year. His father was never seen since then and people have thought that Sky's father was planning to get his kingdom back but Sky doesn't believe the rumors. Sky had told me that his father had gone back with his brother and the started creating new mobs and creatures.


Sky and I had also planned to make our own creatures. Sky's father had shown us how. The time he showed us, we had created small slimy things that ate everything in their path.


I kept thinking until I heard a knock. I quickly got up, opened the door, and tackled Sky into a hug. He yelped in surprise as he landed on the stone cold floor. I smiled widely as I hugged him tightly. He sat up and hugged back.


"Your late, Sky," I pouted.


He smiled and got up.


"I know, I'm sorry. On the way here some guy tried to kill me but he couldn't," he sighed as we pulled away from the hug and got up.


"It's alright. It always happens when humans are scared," I hummed as I went back into my room and jumped on my bed. Sky followed and jumped beside me, making me get thrown up in the air and back on the bed.


I laughed and hugged my pillow. Sky smiled and looked up at the ceiling.


The whole time we were together, Sky seemed out of it. He blushed every once in a while or would drift into another world.
