A/N Kid Yumi and Kid Mai fight over Kid Trunks. Who will save the day. I don't own DBZ.

The Brief's family were having a party for a get together with friends. Trunks invited his friends, but what he didn't expect is that Vegeta invited his acquaintances.

Trunks was talking with Mai as well as holding her hand. They were both blushing, they even consider themselves girlfriend and boyfriend.

"Hey Mai want to go get something to eat"

"Sure, okay"

They walked to the food table that has different kinds of food from different place. Once, they got their food, they sat in a table with Mai's friends, Emperor Pilup and the ninja dog.

"This is great isn't it?"

"It sure is"

"How about when we are done, we play some games?"

"Yeah"

"Would do you say Goten?"

But Goten didn't reply as he was busy stuffing his face. Trunks sweat dropped as he looked at Goten. After a while they were done and they decided to play soccer.

Goten tried to kick the ball Mai but she missed and fell on her butt. Trunks quickly ran to her and held out a hand to her.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, i think I'm okay"

Trunks and Mai were still holding hands when a little girl with black and red eyes interrupted the moment.

"Well well well, look at this two little love birds holding hands"

Trunks saw who it was and quickly pulled his hands away and walked towards the girl. He felt embarrass because he got caught holding someone's hand.

Trunks hold his hands out in surrender.

"Yumi, its not what it looks like?"

"Oh really, please explain"

"Well you see she fell and i was helping her up"

"Uh huh okay"

Trunks let out a sigh and then smiled walking towards Yumi.

"I didn't know you were coming"

"Yeah well Vegeta called and invited us, but Yuki didn't want to come"

"Oh well that's unfortunate because I'm pretty sure Goten wanted to see her"

They both giggled. Mai got mad from being ignored and that her boyfriend was paying attention to someone else.

"Um hello, Trunks what am I chopped liver?"

"Oh right sorry"

He grinned

"Yumi this is Mai and Mai this Yumi"

Mai stomped next to them

"I'm his girlfriend"

Mai said confidently crossing her arms. Yumi had the 'i don't care' look on her face.

"Anyways, Trunks do you mind coming to get some food with me"

"Sure I don't mind"

Trunks went walking alongside with Yumi

"Trunks you never told me you had a girlfriend"

"Well no she thinks she's my girlfriend but she's not"

He said scratching his head nervously but he didn't know that Mai was right behind him and she heard him loud and clear.

"What?!"

"Uh Mai?"

"So, I'm not your girlfriend then am I and as for you"

Mai pointed at Yumi

"Everything was fine till you shown up, so where ever you came from just go back"

Yumi stood looking at Mai with a bored look eating her food chewing quietly.

"Hello didn't you hear me?"

But Yumi just completely ignored her.

"Not gonna talk huh, well maybe this will"

Jealousy took over and Mai then took out her gun pointing it at Yumi. Trunks, Emperor Pilup and the ninja dog was trying to convince Mai to put the gun away but it was to late the gun went off, the force of the gun made Yumi fall of her chair and face to the ground.

Everyone was in shock even the adults, they thought the kids were just playing around. Trunks quickly went to Yumi's side to see if she was okay

"Mai, what were you thinking?!"

"I..."

But Mai was cut off by an angry growl, Trunks looked down to see Yumi levitating and her eyes were open but was fully white. Out of no where dark clouds cover the blue sky, lightening and thunder started to shake the ground.

Trunks yelled

"Yumi calm down!"

Yumi ignored him and was about to explode with anger until someone brought her into a hug a tight hug. Yumi pulled back to see who it was and once she saw who it was Yumi broke down and hugged the person tighter.

The person didn't let her go until she was calm. They knew the only way for Yumi to stay calm is giving her a hug and it was working but if it was too late then Yumi could have gotten out of control. The dark clouds went away and the sky was filled with blue once more.

The person pulled back

"Are you okay now?"

Yumi wiped her tears

"I'm better now, thank you Vegeta"

Everyone was surprise by the act of kindness coming from Vegeta, but everyone already knew that Vegeta and Yumi were close like a father and daughter.
