A/N Pan says things to Yumi that really got to her. I don't own DBZ.

It was raining hard, usually people don't be out in the rain when there is a thunder storm but for Yumi she was running and Trunks wasn't to far away from her.

"Yumi! Stop!"

But Yumi continued to run, tears were running down her cheek, she didn't want Trunks to see her. He finally caught up to her, getting in front of her path stopping her from running and brought her in for a tight hug, hoping it can calm her down.

"Trunks please let me go"

"I am not letting you go, Yumi, no matter what everybody else might think, I am not leaving you"

Yumi let out a sob laying her face on his wet jacket and cried on his shoulder and Trunks just hold her, trying to comfort her the best as he can.

"Its okay Yumi, you're gonna be okay"

He assured, he was also angry about what just happened a moments ago.

Flashback
Everyone was at a park in a gathering of friends. Trunks and Yumi were sitting on a picnic blanket talking and relaxing. Trunks had his head on Yumi's lap while she feed him.

Pan saw them from a distance and started talking about Yumi to Bulla.

"I can't believe Trunks is even with her, I mean come on she's a demon. It's like she doesn't even exist, Giru couldn't even see her because she is cold blooded."

"Pan, I don't think you should be talking about Yumi like that, okay so what she is a demon, one day she is going to be my sister in law"

"You see that's my point, she acting like she is living a normal life. There is nothing normal about her."

"Who knows maybe its cool being a demon, I mean the powers are out of this world."

"You mean she is not of this world"

"Pan"

"I mean it Bulla, she is probably just a mirage of Trunks fantasy. I am going her a piece of my mine"

"Pan!"

Pan got up walked towards Trunks and Yumi blocking there sunlight. Yumi just glared at Pan for interrupting. Trunks decided to speak.

"Is there something you need Pan?"

"Actually, I have a question about Yumi"

"Okay"

"How do you even know if Yumi actually exist, she's a demon probably just a mirage of your fantasy"

Trunks sat up and glared at Pan

"What are you trying to say exactly?"

"That Yumi isn't real, she is not part of this world, she is not even human"

"Neither am I, well I'm half"

"But the other half of you is human"

"That doesn't matter"

Pan stomp her feet angrily.

"Look all I'm saying is that you need to be with someone that is a human"

"So you want me to give up my happiness for to make you happy. Pan I understand what you are getting at but I'm in love with a human"

"She's nothing"

With that said Pan walked away. Trunks looked at Yumi to see her head cast down.

"Yumi?"

"I need to go"

Yumi got up and walked out the park and started running.

End of Flashback

Trunks carried Yumi back home carrying her bridle style. Trunks laid Yumi down on the bed, he was able to stand back up but Yumi took hold of his hand stopping him from moving.

"Stay with me?"

Trunks smiled and climb into bed with Yumi holding her. They stood in silence hearing each others heartbeat, until Trunks broke the silence.

"You know my dad and Piccolo had a talk with Pan"

"Oh yeah"

"Yeah because everyone overheard. My Dad told her that nobody cares you are a demon and that he is also a full saiyan and a half demon and half saiyan child will be the strongest that ever lives."

"Wow, and what did Piccolo say?"

"Hahaha it was pretty funny because Piccolo is a namekian someone out of this world, so it was like she was insulting him and my father at the same time."

Yumi giggled

"In the end, Gohan and Videl told Pan that she is to apologize to you tomorrow"

"Uh I don't really want to deal with her. Besides, we both know the real reason I walked away like that...."

"Is because you were holding back and you didn't want to do any damage."

Trunks finished for Yumi smiling

"Am I right?"

"You know me so well"

They both chuckled and Yumi snuggled closer to Trunks neck.

"Trunks, you want to go get something to eat?"

"Yeah"

They both walked out of the room but stopped when Vegeta called Yumi over to him.

"I just want you to know that ignore that girl she was nothing but a brat."

Yumi smiled and jumped on Vegeta wrapping her arms around him in a hug, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you Vegeta"
