Finally my fight with that idiot got resolved today . I'm okay with everything but his example of quoting my marriage is too much Yaar !

He sounds cute when he fights with me ! Especially gaining my Amma's attention when I'm with him.. Having known him for years amma is so concerned for him 😊

I'm not jealous about their relationship! Even his mom was very close to me. He was totally broken when his mom left us 💔

Aunty treats me just like how she treats her daughter 😃 I always complain her about this fellow and she stands by my side 🤩

I miss her so much 😔 she should have been alive to see Vihaan's growth in the industry..

He is so talented.. he will surely shine one day ! I have faith in him 😇

We both started concentrating on our own works after that day. I had my project submission and my team lead was giving loads and loads of work to me .I didn't even get time to meet Deepika Akka Vihaan's sister..

She is very very sweet like uncle and aunty ☺️

Vihaan was busy with Akka and her husband and so I couldn't talk to him as well. I spoke with Akka over phone and she understood my situation . I promised that I'll meet her after she returns from her in-laws house as she's gonna stay there for few days . .

Somehow I managed to complete my project on time and submitted it without getting scoldings from my irritating team lead ! I came home and relaxed myself by taking a power nap ! Amma called me for dinner..

After dinner I called Vihaan but he did not pick my call . He usually picks my call immediately or at least drops a message if he is busy

But today he didn't do either of them ! I felt very strange. Even Akka was not there with him so I don't know why he didn't attend my call.

As I was already exhausted I pushed away my thoughts and slept without thinking too much about him ..

Next morning I woke up at 8 am . I already informed Amma not to disturb me as I am on leave . I went inside the kitchen and I was welcomed by the fresh filter coffee made by Appa 🤩 The moment when the fragrance entered my nostrils I felt elated ! That's the magic of coffee 😍

I had coffee and chit chatted with my parents . My phone rang and I went inside my room to check on it. Suresh uncle (Vihaan's dad) had called me . I attended it with a smile 😁

"Good morning da ma"

"Good morning uncle ! How are you?"

"I'm fine da ! How's your work going?"

"Quite stressful only.. but manageable uncle ! What happened uncle? You're calling me in the morning itself? "

"You're very smart da ! You came to the point directly"

"Smrithi is always smart uncle 😌"

"I know da ! Actually vihaan is not okay since last evening" his voice was very low and shivering.

"What happened to him uncle? "

"Don't know da.. he was looking very upset.. I don't know whether he'll tell me the real reason if I ask him"

"Ohh.. may be that's why he didn't attend my call yesterday"

"Yes da.. he went inside his room and locked the door.. I called him for dinner and he told he's not hungry.. something is wrong da"

"Uncle please don't worry.. I'm on leave today.. I'll come there and talk to him"

"Thanks da ma.. I'm going out for an important pensioner's meeting.. I'll return only in the evening.. please take care of him da.. I can't trust anyone other than you.. if Deepu was here I won't disturb you.. "

"Don't treat me like a stranger uncle ! I'll take care of him.. I'll reach home and inform you ! "

"Okay da ma.. make sure he tells you the actual reason "

"Haha ! He can't hide anything from me . I know how to make him admit the truth "

"My smartie smithu'!

"Yess ! "

"Bye da.. call me after you reach here.. I'm leaving now ! "

"Bye uncle ! Take care and please don't worry about Vihaan.. I'll handle him uncle 😁"

I assured him and ended the call ! What's wrong with my idiot? What happened to him ! How dare he hid something from me 😤

I told everything to Amma and went to his house. .

I clicked the doorbell thrice. When I was about to press it for the fourth time he opened the door with a sleepy face 🥱

Vihaan : What are you doing here?

Smrithi : Shouldn't I come to your house?

Vihaan : You can but why are you here so early?

Smrithi : idiot ! Check the time.. it's 11:30 da

He scratched his head and I entered his house immediately. . I tried to go inside his room but he stopped me .

Smrithi : What?

Vihaan : stay here itself..

Smrithi : But why? I have went inside your room many times. Why are you stopping me now?

Vihaan : You should not enter my room today ! That's it .

Sounds fishy.  Then there is something hidden inside his room ! Smrithi use your brain now..

I coughed a little .

Smrithi : I want water da *cough*

Vihaan : Go and take from the kitchen . He said shrugging his shoulders.

Smrithi : Can't you even get water for me? 

I asked him in a pleading tone and it worked ! I used his absence and entered inside his room..

Omgggg 😳 is this really his room? Or I have stepped into some other place !

All his script papers were lying here and there on the floor.. some were torn into pieces..

I found aunty's photo in the bed along with her old saree 🥺

So something had happened which made Vihu sad and that's why he had done all these 😬

He came inside the room with water in search of me..

I cleared my throat and looked at him.. but he avoided eye contact with me.. I know this won't work .

I took few papers from the floor and sat leaning on the wall and made him sit next to me . .

Smrithi : You are not going to escape from me. Tell me what happened?

I warned him still no response from him.. he kept looking down 😔

Smrithi : What happened Vihaan? Why are you silent?!

Vihaan : I'm a looser Di

He opened his mouth finally! But the words he spelled were heartbreaking 💔

Smrithi : Vihu?! Why do you utter such words da?

Vihaan : that's the truth Di 😭I'm a looser . Yesterday I went to narrate my script to a producer. He looked like he was convinced with the story but he asked me to sell my story to him for money ! How can he ask me like that? This story is my dream passion above all my life! He asked my story so that he will produce the same script with some other director.. Ain't I talented enough to direct my own script ? Why should I giveaway my script for someone to claim the fame??

Awww no I get it why he was broken 🥺 I have read that script ! It was sooo good.. not just because I'm his best friend I'm telling it. It was really good and promising. This fella is very fragile . . He takes everything into his heart without thinking deeply..

Smrithi make him calm or else he won't stop crying

Smrithi : Vihu.. look at me..

Vihaan : Hmm..

Smrithi : Why do you tell that you're a looser?

Vihaan : Can't you understand from what I said?

Smrithi : Just tell me from your mouth..

Vihaan : Because they think that I'm not capable of doing justice to that script. .

Smrithi : Idiot ! It's not the real reason . .

Vihaan : Then what?

Smrithi : First of all stop calling yourself a looser ! You are a winner already. . They asked you the script because they're jealous that if you direct the same you'll claim all the fame as a debutant director ! That's why they asked for your script.  You are very capable for directing it ! First understand this..

He was starring at me for a while. I wish At least 10% of what I said enters into my mind..

Vihaan : Hmm..

Happada! He spoke something finally. Now I don't want him to go back to his dull mood again..

Smrithi : Go ! Go and take bath.  I'll order pizza to celebrate this !

Vihaan ' to celebrate what?

Smrithi : Your first victory man ! All these days only your close circle had known about your script and we appreciated you.. now apart from us someone as heard it and impressed with this da ! It's a moment to celebrate da..

Vihaan : Ohh..you're right actually..

Smrithi : Smithu is always right..

Vihaan : Haan.. by the way how did you come here ?

Smrithi : Uncle called me in the morning and told me that you're not okay.. that's why I came here...

Vihaan : Ohhh.. Appa had noticed me yesterday then..

Smrithi : How can he not? You could have told him yesterday da..

Vihaan : He would have worried about me Di.. already I have given so much of stress to him.. that's why I stayed quiet..

Smrithi : Do you think he's not worried now? He is more worried now only.. tell him everything da.. he would feel proud of your attempts and success.  .

Vihaan : Hmm.. I'm hungry 😬

Smrithi : Dirty fellow ! Go and take bath first.. you're smelling yuk !

Vihaan ; Don't act like your taking bath everyday 😂

Smrithi : Vihaaannn

Before I could catch him he ran inside the washroom.. we are like this only . I'm happy that  he's back to his old form! .

I ordered pizzas for us and waited for him.. he came back after a shower. We both started eating pizzas along with our usual teasings and plays 😛

Smrithi ; Vihu.. are you free tomorrow?

Vihaan.: Yes Di.. why?

Smrithi : Perfect! You're coming with me for our team lunch!

Vihaan : What?

Smrithi : yes da.  As we have completed our project we're going for a team lunch tomorrow.. I'm going to take you along with me..

Vihaan : When did I say I'm coming with you?

Smrithi : Hey come da ! It'll be fun.. you will also feel relaxed na..

Vihaan : Which place?

Smrithi : Mahabalipuram..

Vihaan : wow ! Did aunty allow you?

Smrithi : Actually..I didn't ask Amma yet..

Vihaan : Now I get why you're calling me along with you ! So that you can get permission easily.. am I right?

Smrithi : hehehe... You're coming na?

Vihaan : As if you'd leave me if I say no !

Smrithi : That's my Vihu!

I pinched his cheeks unfortunately all the sauce in my hand got smudged with his beard 🙊 I'm gone today !
He started applying sauce on my face and hair as a revenge.

We both spent our day by playing and enjoying at his house 😁 uncle retuned home in the evening and Vihaan told him everything that happened.. Uncle  also encouraged him and boosted his confidence.

Next day I got ready and texted Vihaan.. he came to my house and we both went to the resort for lunch .

I introduced him to my teammates and they also introduced themselves to him..

He was feeling lonely there.  I could not be with him as my other friends called me.. he told me that he's going for a walk and I agreed as it would make him feel better..

After few minutes he came towards me with a tensed face..

Vihaan : Smrithi can we leave now?

Smrithi : What happened da?. Just now everyone has arrived and you're asking whether we can leave?

Vihaan : I can't explain everything now.. are you coming with me or not?

Smrithi : No da .. I can't..

Vihaan ' Okay . Have my bike Key.. ask your friend to drop you home . I'm going bye !

Smrithi : Hey where are you going da?

Vihaan ' I'll tell everything later bye .

He told and ran away from the place. I didn't know what happened to him again.. he looked tensed . He never allows anyone to touch his bike but today he gave his key and went . Very strange..

My friends asked me why I was upset.. I just told that I'm not feeling good.. I drove his bike by myself and went home..

I called uncle whether vihaan came home.. but he also said no..

Where did this idiot go? Why is he doing like this??

At night after I slept , he had come home and taken his bike and left not even informing me.. amma told me that he had his bags in his hand..

For the next one week he did not even call me or text me.. even if I text him he just saw those messages but didn't reply..

I feel ignored 😔

My birthday was fast approaching and this idiot is doing like this..

I'm missing him so much.. eventhough we both fight with eachother we would mend everything before our birthdays.. but this time he is not even answering to my calls..

Why is he behaving like this ?

I went to his house but uncle said that he is not in town.. where did he go? Without even informing me?

We have been ignoring eachother since ages but this time it's very very hurting.. What was my fault? What did I do? Why is he ignoring me?

I was crying inside my room and Amma entered inside..

Latha : What happened da? Why are you crying?

Smrithi : Amma.. vihaan is ignoring me ma.. it's been more than a week since we both spoke properly..

Latha : Any misunderstanding between you both?

Smrithi : No Amma..after I returned from Mahabalipuram he's behaving like this.. I thought to meet him at his house.. but uncle said that he is not in town..

Latha : Yes da.. he has gone to Bangalore for some important work.. didn't he inform you?

Smrithi : What?? So you also know about him ? Perfect ! I'm the one who's fooled here..

Latha: He might have forgotten to inform you da..

Smrithi : Maa.. don't try to console me.. I know that he's doing this intentionally..

Latha : Don't worry da.. he'll talk to you soon..

Smrithi : It's hurting me ma.. I'm not feeling like before Amma.. I don't know why his presence matters to me so much ! Everything seems different to me..I want to be around him everytime.. I want to share everything and expect him to reply what I think.. I can't see him sad . . I want him to be happy everytime..

Latha ; Are you in love with him?

Smrithi : I don't know Amma...

Latha : Smithu.. I can understand your confusion.. it's natural da.. only you can answer for my question. Ask your heart about your feelings for him.. don't think about what he feels about you.. if your answer is yes then just tell him everything immediately without any delay.. please keep your mind ready for his reply.. either positive or negative make sure that your friendship doesn't get ruined by this..
And me , Appa and uncle will be happy for any decision you take.. okay ?

Smrithi: Ammma....

I just hugged her and cried aloud 😭 she spoke everything what I was going through for the past few days even before I could answer her question. May be she's right.  I have to analyse my feelings and get an answer..

Yes Amma was right.. I started seeing him as more than a best friend.. I have fallen in love with him long ago but I was not able accept the fact.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I expected him at least to send a message but he didn't. I don't know what's the joy he gets in making me upset .

Amma , Appa , uncle , Deepu Akka and her husband wished me .

My other friends , office colleagues wished me but this idiot didn't..

I can no more hide my feelings from him..

I wanted to confess my love but I don't even know where he is..

Amma asked me about my reply.. I said yes and she was very happy 😇

But here I'm angry because of that idiot who is my best friend and now my lover who has totally forgotten about my birthday 😤

The whole day I waited for his wish but he didn't wish me. .

I cried to Amma and she consoled me . .

I slept aftee crying for a long time 🥺..

At night I felt someone tugging my shoulder..

I excitedly opened my eyes expecting Vihaan..but I found Appa standing next to me !

Again he disappointed me..

Appa asked me to come out and took me to the terrace . .

I saw the shadow of someone in the moonlight 🤩

Immediately my heart warned me not to expect him again and get disappointed..

The person came towards me..

And I found him finally !

My Vihaan !

I'm seeing him after two weeks.. I could feel my eyes filling with years..

I wanted to hug him and tell him how much I missed him 🥺

"Happy Birthday Smithu"  he wished me and hugged me .

I didn't want to break the hug but he moved away from me . .

He forwarded a gift to me . But I kept it aside as I wanted to question him first..

Where did you go? Why did you leave me? Why did you ignore me??"

I poured my heart out and asked him 🥺

"Just open this gift.. I'll answer you later" he replied calmly

"No ! I won't .. first answer my question"  I argued .

"You're so stubborn Di.. I'll open it instead of you "
He told and started unwrapping the gift...

What's so important in that gift more than me?

Finally he opened it and gave a file to me..

My hands started shivering when I held it .

It was Vihaan's script with a producer's name on top of it..

Means !! He is going to direct his film!! Yesss.. I feel so happy for him..

Happy Tears started rolling down from my eyes ... the best birthday gift I can ever receive 🤍

I looked at him , he was smiling at me with tears at the corner of his eyes..

"Smrithi .. I know you for so many years..  you have been my pillar of support from the day we both became friends in school.. I know you will stay the same forever.. when I was depressed you were the one who consoled me and motivated me.. I got this opportunity because of you.. yes . The day we went to Mahabalipuram I met this producer who asked me narrate the script immediately.. that's why I left you alone and went there.. I'm sorry Di.. I know I have been hurting you all these days.. I purposely ignored you because I wanted to give this as your birthday gift to you.. you are the person who would wholeheartedly feel happy for my success next to amma.. you have no idea àbout how much I missed you all these days.. I want you to be my soulmate.  Will you be mine? "

He told everything.. Oh My God ! Is he also in love with me??

Smrithi say yesss !!! My mind warned me again and again..

"Yesss Vihu !!! I love you too"

I said and the next moment he hugged me 😍
