Author Note : The characters of this story are from my other story, Kadhal Sugamanathu with some slight changes. Here Jai and Sakthi are own brothers. Vani and Ramesh are their parents.
Vaishali and Vidhya's parents - Saritha and Kishore are alive.
Jaishu had been happily married for almost a year. Vidhya lives with her parents as she is studying third year college.

Let's see how the story proceeds...

Vidhya walked into her sister's house with her mom. She was having her semester holidays, so her mother pestered her to accompany. The house was silent than usual.

Sakthi would be playing around with Tommy everytime. But today, even Tommy was not seen inside the house. She felt relieved that she need not meet that guy who has been annoying her for ages.

"Vaanga sambandhi! Vaa Vidhya" Vidhya heard her aunt Vani's voice that broke her from her trance.

"Hi athai. Epdi irukeenga?" Vidhya greeted her with her ever cheerful smile.

"Nan nalla irukem ma.. vandhu ukkarunga." She welcomed them and they sat on the sofa.

"Ellarum busy ah? Nanga disturb pannitoma?" Saritha asked curiously.

"Adhellam illa sambandhi. Jai um Vaishu vum Vella poirukanga. Sakthi ku office. Avanga appa Tommy ah kootitu walking poirkanga.. ellarum ippo vandruvanga. Sakthi kelambiten nu ippothan call pannan."

"Oh appo saringa " Saritha replied politely.

*Ayoo.. ippo avana yaru paka vandhanga.  Akka mama Vanda udane pathutu poidalam la . Kadavule..* Vidhya's mind screamed aloud.

"College lam epdi pogudu Vidhya?" Vani asked her.

"Haan nalla pogudu athai... Ippo semester leave."

"Nee nalla dance aduva nu Sakthi sonnan aniku.. unnoda culturals video kooda katinan enkita. Jai kalyanathula adinadu vida adhu innum super ah irundudu da." Vani told and Vidhya's smile dropped and she worriedly looked at her mother.

"Sakthi ku epdi?" Saritha asked confused.

"Ada avanum idhe college thana, pona varusham thana college mudichan sambandhi.." Vani reminded her and she nodded her head.

"Enna sapdureenga rendu perum?"

"Adellam eduku athai.. "

"Illa da. Romba nal kazhichu vandrukeenga edavadu sapdunga.. nan kondu varen." Vani replied and went to the kitchen.

"Innum nee indha dance ah vidala thana. Appa ku therinjadu na avlothan!" Saritha asked Vidhya in a furious whisper, after making sure that Vani went inside the kitchen.

"Maa.. adhu en friend aniku varala.. adhanala.." Vidhya stammered.

"Hello athai." Vidhya turned towards the direction from where the voice came from. Sakthi was walking towards them with a smile. She felt a bit relieved as her mother will not scold her anymore.

"Hi pa! Epdi iruka?" Saritha asked him with a smile, while Vidhya purposely looked away.

"Enaku enna, nan super ah iruken athai. Mama varalaya?" He asked her as he sat next to her on the sofa.

"Illa pa.. avaruku work irundudu adhan nanga rendu perum vandhom."

"Amma.. enaku thanni kudikanum pola iruku. Nan kudichitu varen." Vidhya said and quickly went to the dining hall to drink water.

Vani was coming with a tray full of snack, and Vidhya spotted it.

"Athai!! Enna ore nal la gunda maatha poreengala?" She asked her in shock.

"Yen? Gunda ana enna thappu? Appayum azhaga thana irupa nee?" Vani asked her back. "sari nee idha kondu po, nan coffee tray eduthitu varen." Sighing, Vidhya walked to the hall with the snacks tray.

"Athai, avala patha thanni kudika pona mari therilaye... Vara vazhila padhi snacks ah gali panna plan panna mari than theriyudu." Sakthi whispered to Saritha who chuckled in agreement.

"Maa! Eduku ippo sirikra?" Vidhya asked her mother angrily, as she very well knew that Sakthi would have said something to her.

"Yen unga amma ku sirika kooda urima illaya, Vidhya?" Sakthi asked with a smirk.

"Sakthi, nan unga kita pesala." Vidhya glared at him.

"Vidhya! Per solli koopdatha evlo vati sollirken." Her mother warned her.

Vani came back with the coffee tray.

"Hey Sakthi nee eppo vandha?"

"Ippothan ma.. athai kooda apde pesitu irunden."

"Nee poi dress change pannitu va, unaku coffee podren."

Sakthi left to his room to freshen up and came back after ten minutes in his casuals.

Ramesh had come back after his walk. They were sitting and chatting. Jaishu walked inside the house, and were surprised to see Vidhya and Saritha.

"Maaa!!!" Vaishu shouted and ran towards her mother and hugged her tight.

"Vaishu, don't run!" Jai told and followed her behind.

"Nangale unna paka iniku varalam nu nenachom." Vaishu told her mom excitedly.

"Paara! Enga mela enna pudhu akkara, mama?" Vidhya asked him as she put her hand around his shoulder.

"Yen na Neenga periya manushi aache! Oru call illa, text illa.. nanum note pannitu than iruken." He said holding her ears.

"Hehe.. semester exams so busy..." She replied cheekily.

"Inime andha saaku lam solla mudiyadhu madam." Jai warned her.

"Yen mama?"

Jaishu looked at eachother and smiled wide.
"We're preganant! Neenga thatha paati aga poreenga." They revealed the news surprising everyone.

Their mothers hugged Vaishu and congratulated her. Sakthi hugged Jai happily.

"Maa.. appa eppo varuvaru?" Vaishu asked her mom once their celebration got subsided.

"Oru 8:30 agum da. Nanga ippo poitu, nalaiku thirumba appa kooda  varom sariya?" Saritha told vaishu, but she was still upset.

"Sambandhi, Neenga vena iniku ingaye stay Pannunga.. vidhya Kum leave nu solra.. Vaishu appa vayum ingaye vara sollita, ellarum onna irunda mari agum la.." Vani suggested.

"Illa.. adhu Inga.." Saritha hesitated.

"Inga guest room ready ah iruku, 5 mins la nanga clean pannidrom.."

"Dress..."

"Ada idhu oru prechana ya.. Irunga nan Sakthi kita Vidhya va kootitu veetuku poitu vara solren. Avanga dress kondu varatum. Problem solved.!" Vani smiled. Vaishu looked at her mother expectedly and she finally agreed. Vidhya didn't expect this. Before she could say anything, they decided it.

Jai was talking to Sakthi. Vidhya walked with Vani worriedly.

"Sakthi, oru chinna vela da." Vani informed him.

"Ennadhu ma?" Sakthi asked and his landed on vidhya who was standing behind his mom.

"Iniku night, vaishu oda appa, amma, Vidhya ellarum Inga than stay panna poranga.  So nee Vidhya kooda avanga veetuku poitu, avanga dress lam kondu variya?" Vani asked him.

Sakthi looked at Vidhya for a microsecond, but she was looking down biting her lips.

"Haan ma! Nan poitu varen." He replied making Vani smile wide.

Sakthi grabbed the car keys and walked out, Vidhya followed him behind.

She was about to open the back door to get in, then she heard his voice "I'm not your driver."

Closing the car door harshly, she got into the passenger seat. Sakthi drove the car in a steady speed. It was a good half an Journey, but they both remained silent hearing the random songs that played on the FM.

They reached Vidhya's house. She got down from the car and opened the door. Sakthi followed her behind.
The moment he entered the house, he turned around and locked the door.

"Vidhya nillu!" He shouted. As the house was empty, his voice echoed around the corners.
She stopped on her way and stood there silently.

"Yen di ipdi panra? Naalu nal ah oru phone call illa, message illa! Enaku paithyam pudikra mari irundudu. Sathiyama solren, iniku mattum nee enga veetuku varala na, nane Inga vandu pathrupen. Ethana mura than nanum Anni kitta eadho poi reason solli unna pathi kekardu sollu?iniku kooda enna pakama apde escape agalam nu thana nenacha nee?" He asked her angrily.

Vidhya didn't reply a word. She stood there silently sobbing.

"Very good! Ipde silent ah iru! Nee eppo vai ah thorandu pesriyo, appo than nama ingendhu povom. Aduku ethana nal ah irundalum sari." He said and dropped the house key inside his pocket.

"Sakthi." She shouted in shock.

"Ippo edhuku enna avoid panra? Enaku suthama purila.." he asked her calmly.

"Enna vitru Sakthi please." She pleaded him.

"Nan unna vidradu irukatum.. ana nee dance ah vidren nu solriye adhu evlo hurt agudu theriyuma di?"

"Appo enaku adhu easy ah irukum nu nee nenaikriya da?" She asked him crying.

Sakthi moved forward and hugged her. She hugged him back tightly.

"Nanum evlo vo try panniten Sakthi... Appa ku dance na suthama pudikala. Idhula nee solra mari dance school vekkalam nu plan lam sonna... Ennala nenachu kooda paka mudila appa voda reaction ah."

"Anna Anni kita solli pesi paka sollalama?"

"Idhu vara akka idha pathi pesala nu nenaikriya nee? Oru oru program appayum akka than  appa kooda sanda potu enna anupi veppa.. ava anga vandha aprum nan panna endha performance um appa amma ku theriyadhu. Iniku athai cultural la nan dance adinadha pathen nu sonanga.. aduke amma ku kovam vanduduchu. Idula nee enna na pudhu competition ku per kudu, dance school start pannalam nu adukra.." she cried in his arms.

"Nan pesava mama kita?" He asked her softly.

"Sakthi... Nee purinju than pesriya? Ippo nee dideer nu appa kita pesina, won't he be suspicious about us?"

"Keta sollalam love panrom nu." Sakthi replied casually.

"Nooo!!! Enaku innum 2 years iruku course mudika. Adhu vara let's not tell about our love to anyone. Erkanave appa ku nan dance panradu pudikala.. idhula love nu sonna enna rendayum vida solliduvaru. I can't handle it Sakthi. Please understand "

"Aduku? You're gonna leave dance?"

"May be I'll take a break..." She whispered with tears.

"Look at me." He said and she looked at his face. Sakthi cupped her face and kissed her forehead.

"Iniku ellarum veetla happy ah irukanga, Anni preganancy nala. But you're in tears here. I can't take it di. Nan pesren veetla ellar kitayum. Whatever be the consequences, let's face it together. Namma love ah pathiyum solren. Rendu perum ore college, we were interested in dance and eventually our siblings got married. Ippo neeyum enga veetuku vanduta, ellarum happy ah thana irupanga? Edhuku bayam?"

"Nee easy ah solra Sakthi..."

"Nan thana pesa poren, Nan pathukren.    Nee poi things ellam pack pannu.. already time achu." Sakthi ordered and Vidhya started packing their clothes.

While she was arranging her clothes, sakthi went and hugged her from behind..

"Veetla yarum illa.. nama rendu perum mattum thaniya irukom.. edavadu kedaikuma?" He asked her cutely.

"Neenga sonnadha seinga first, aprum ellam kedaikum." Vidhya winked.

"Hmm hmm.. nan Anna kita pesiten! Enna nadandhalum Avan namaku than support." Sakthi told her and Vidhya smiled. Soon they both travelled to Sakthi's house.

They all happily talked and spent their time.  It was time for dinner and Vaishu's dad had also joined them.

"Sambandhi... Neenga thappa nenaikala na nanga onnu kekalam ah?" Ramesh asked Kishore hesitantly at the dining table.

"Kelunga Sambandhi." Kishore smiled and asked him to proceed.

"Iniku Vaishu preganant ah iruka nu ellarum sandosama irukom.. indha sandhosamana nerathula idha pesina sariya varum nu thonudhu.." he said looking at Sakdhiya. They were surprised to see him turning towards them.

"Namma Vidhya va Sakthi ku pesalama? Ava innum padichu mudikala nu theriyum.. irundalum enaku kekanum nu thonuchu adhan kekren." Ramesh told and everyone's eyes widened in shocked. Vidhya looked at Sakthi, to know whether it was his plan, but he was also equally shocked. Even Jaishu were shocked as well as surprised.

Kishore and Saritha looked at eachother and finally smiled.

"Enga rendu ponnungalum ore veetla katti kudutha adha vida sandosam engaluku eduvum illa sambandhi. Edukum avanga rendu peru kitayum oru varthai ketrulame.." Kishore smiled.

Jai was about to say something but Sakthi held his hand and stopped him.

"Nan indha kalyanathuku othukanum na aduku oru condition iruku." Sakthi told them abruptly.

"Sakthi!!" Ramesh shouted.

"Appa.. let me finish it." Sakthi replied calmly.

"Nanga munnadiye sollirkanum.. but better late than never, Nanum Vidhya vum two years love panrom. Anna kalyanathuku munnadiye, we know eachother in college. Appo just friends ah irundom.. but after a while we fell in love." Sakthi confessed honestly.

Vidhya looked at her parents in worry. They didn't take it seriously as they had already made up their mind for their marriage.

"Ippo enna condition?" Ramesh asked him impatiently.

"Vidhya ku enna vida.. illa indha ulagathulaye romba pudichadu na adhu dance than. Nan avala first college la meet pannadhe oru cultural program la than. Avaluku dance than uyir eh. Adha pursue panni dance school start pannanum ndradu than enga rendu peroda aasaye.." Sakthi told in a single breath looking at her parents. Vidhya closed her eyes tightly as tears fell down from her eyes. Vaishu moved towards her and hugged her sister.

"Ana.. mama ku ava dance aduradhu suthama pudikadhu. Mama ku pudikala nu athaiyum avaluku support pannala.. please mama.. ava oru periya dancer ah varuva. Her dream, her love everything is dance. Avaluku ungala meeri avaloda dream ah pursue panna virupam illa.. adhanala dance eh vida poren nu decide pannita.. iniku nane unga ellar kitayum idha pathi pesalam nu than irunden. Adukulla appa pesitaru. Please mama.. avaluku support Pannunga.  Nan edavadu thappa pesi irunda, I'm sorry." Sakthi told everyone. Jai felt proud of his brother,for standing for his love.

Vidhya's parents were emotional after hearing his words. They felt bad for hurting their daughter all these years.

"Vidhya... I'm sorry da.." Kishore apologized to Vidhya.

"Paaa..." She cried and hugged him.

"Inime nee aasa padra mari endha competition la venum nalum participate Pannu. I'll be with you." Kishore assured her and Vidhya smiled inbetween tears.

"Ana rendu perum ellarayum ivlo nal emathiteenga la" Vani teased them to cheer up the mood.

"Athai, Sakthi ku unga mela abara nambikkai, love ku okay solliduveenga nu." Vidhya told her.

"Ohhh! Apdiya sir!" Ramesh said playfully hitting his back.

"Thanks pa.. you made it easy for me today." Sakthi thanked his father wholeheartedly.

Jaishu and Sakdhiya ended their day happily with the best news of their lives!
