I keep thinking of this story... it's about what if Estelle and Max meet earlier like when Estelle was a child and him as a young adult around the 1920 ish.

In 1920, a small and successful shop in New York City was well known around the riches and poor. They are renowned not only for their heavenly assortment of chocolate but also for their crafting chocolate they make. The rose chocolate. It looks, smell and feels like a rose but once you bite the petal it's taste like chocolate. It's a very popular product that most clients would buy to confess their love or surprise their loved ones. Even the list of waiting is huge. The success came from the twins, Isabella and Maximilian De La Rosa.

Maximilian is a professional chocolatier that creates their signature shop. He rarely shows himself in the front shop but when he does people tend to be scare of him for his anti-social personality. But once you know him, he is a nice person to hang out with.

Isabella De La Rosa is good at marketing and promotes the shop. She even handles the finances. Together they make a good team. Isabella is married to Yuri Hyuga. He is a military man and was now commander. He always makes sure to spend time with his family.

"Hermanita? How are you?" Maximilian said as he enters her bedroom

"I am fine Hermano," Isabella said as she smiles at her brother

"I brought you some breakfast. Yuri told me to prepare some since he wants you to rest as much as possible"

"He worries far too much! It's not my first pregnancy!" Isabella said as she slightly pouts. Max chuckles at her tantrum

"He is just worry that is all. Besides the said he is going to take a time off for work to take care of you and Alexei," Max said as he put the trail of food in front of her. "Eat your breakfast and I will go take care of the shop,"

"But max are you sure to handle it at your own?"

"I am sure beside I know some accounting and I have orders to take care of," Max said with a reassuring smile. Isabella gives in and start eating her breakfast.

"Not fair you make my favourite chocolate banana pancakes with wipe cream!" She said but still eating it. Max chuckles and pats her head

"Eat and be strong for both of you," he said smiling. He gets up of the bed and as he was about to leave the bedroom

"Oh I am going to bring Alexei with me in the shop so you can properly rest," Max said

"Hermano, Latina woman doesn't rest," he chuckles

"I know but Yuri said he is coming back in the afternoon so behave,"

"No promises~"

"Figure," he left the bedroom and went to get Alexei in his bedroom.

"Wake up sobrino~"

"5 more minutes..." Alexei said as he turns his side

"We are going to the shop~ you know what that means ~"

Alexei open his eyes and sit up

"Can I eat leftover?!"

"That was the deal~"

"Ok let me change I will be quick," as he gets out of his bed.

After he was done changing clothes, he wait for his uncle to the entrance door

"Hurry tio!"

"Come in come in~," he said as he chuckles at his excitement.

Max hold Alexei's hand and leave the house

Meanwhile

In the main street, there was a father and his twins' children walking in the busy street. They even tho they have a car, his little girl wanted to walk home. The father compile has he can never say no to his baby girl.

"Don't wander around. It's a busy street,"

"Yes, dad,"

"Yes, papa!"

"Good now let's go your aunty want to see you guys,"

"Does that mean we will have snacks?!"

"Would there be ketchup?"

"Sure as long you ask,"

"Yay!"

The twins were holding their father's hands as they walk to the street.

"Wow, so many shops and people!" The little girl said excitedly to see it up close

"I know you are excited baby doll but don't wander too far. Stay near me and your brother ok?"

"Yes, papa!" The little girl said as she looks around the shops. Then the father's phone starts to ring when they make a turn right before they arrive home. The father let go of her daughter's hand to answer the call.

"What is it?" The father said

The little girl was looking when she spots someone carrying a cage with a bunny inside

"Bunny!" She said as she went to take a look at the bunny. Little did she know that she wonders so far away from her brother and father.

"Oh no! I cannot see the bunny anymore..." the little girl said sadly that she couldn't go pet the bunny. "I better come back before papa gets worried," she said.

However, when she turned around, she didn't know where she was anymore! The little girl didn't cry at first. She thought that her father and brother are not too far.

"Papa? Brother? Where are you?!" She said as she started trying to remember where she went but the more she walked the more she starts to panic as she doesn't feel like she is any closer to where her family was. Tears start to come out of her eyes

"Papa! Brother! Where are you?!" She said screaming. No one around was helping her. The noise of the cars and the people walking around were all louder than her crying for her family.

I shouldn't have insisted to walk back home! I should have stayed in the car with papa and brother. She thought as tears keep falling.

Until she smells something sweet.

"Huh?" The little start walking toward the smell and what she saw was a modest shop but the show windows were...

"Chocolate!" Her stomach starts to growl for the need of something to eat. She spots inside the window a little boy that looks around her age drawing behind the counter. She must have stared for a while because the boy looks up and saw the little girl staring. He smiles at her and waves at her. She gets startled and thought to move away from the window.

However, the front door open.

"Hey! Are you interest in my tio's chocolate?"

"Hmm... I..." she said as look down and clench her dress.

"Who is at the door Lexei?" Max said as he looks outside. "Oh hello little girl, are you there on your own?"

The little girl looks up and her eyes widen. Wow! What pretty eyes he has! The boy also has the same colours of eyes but this man has brighter colours of red! The little girl thought as she still stares at the man

"Hmm hello? Are you ok there?" Max said worry that he must have said something bad. The little girl snap of her thought and blush for staring at him for so long.

"Hmm y-yes! I am ok!" She said in a fast speech

"Then are you there with your parents? Or are you alone?"

"O-oh hmm... I am lost and couldn't find papa and brother..." she said looking down. Remembering she was separated from them

"Hey don't cry. Hmm... come inside little one, I have just made a batch of almond chocolate. Wanna try them?"

"They are so good too! Tio is the best chocolatier of all New York city!" Alexei said smiling

"It's that ok? Shouldn't you sell them?"

"They are leftovers from an order I just made, so you don't have to worry about the cost," Max said as he winks at her. The little girl blush feeling all fuzzy inside. It is what it's call love at first sight?! Like the one, mama read to me last night? She thought. She looks back to the man

"If it's not going to affect your business then I would love to!" She said smiling at him

"Good I need another taster than this little one," he said as he pats Alexei's head

"Hey, I do help too!" He said pouting

"Sure sure~ so what is your name little one? My name is Maximilian De La Rosa but you can call me Max. This boy is called Alexei,"

"Lexei is fine too!" He said grinning at her

So his name is Max huh?

"My name is Estelle. Estelle Clearwater," She said doing a small courtesy

"Come on in. Those chocolates won't eat by its own~," he said as he opens the door widen for her to enter.

After eating some snacks, Max found the phone number of Estelle's father company and told them they found the CEO's daughter.

"Good new Estelle! Your father is on its way to fetch you,"

"Really?!" Estelle said excitedly

"Yes really," he smiles at her

"Yay!" She said happy to see her father again, but then...

"Will I see you again?"

"Hmm? If you come to the shop yes we may,"

"Sometimes tio is to busy to be in the front shop. He stays at the kitchen,"

"Who takes care of the front,"

"My mama!" Alexei said smiling

"My twins' sister is the one that usually on the front shop,"

"Wow! You are a twin? Me too!"

"Really? What a coincidence," Max said as he chuckles

"Oh, that reminds me... How come there are no customers?" Estelle said curiously

"That's because today I am only focusing on taking care of delivery orders,"

"Tio has a huge waiting list for his special chocolate!"

"Special chocolate?"

"Yes, I can use chocolate to make a rose,"

"But doesn't other sweet shops can do that?"

"No, what is so unique is that the chocolate look, smell and feel like a rose, but once you bite it, it's taste like real chocolate!" Alexei said

"Wow really?! Can I see one? Please?" Estelle said with plea eyes

"Of course, give me a minute," he said as he goes on the back and comes back with a single rose at hand. "This is the rose chocolate~,"

"But it looks like a regular rose!" Estelle said skeptically of it. Max chuckles at her reaction

"Of course but once you take a petal and eat it," he takes a petal and gives it to Estelle. "It's taste like chocolate~"

Estelle looks at the petal and eats it. Her whole face brightens up.

"Wow! It's so tasty and I don't have an after taste of rose nor of the dye colours! How do you do that?!"

"It's a family recipe~ unfortunately, it's a secret ingredient," Max said as he put a finger in front of his mouth

"Aw, how would I know what it's inside now!?"

"Unless you get married to the family you will never know!" Alexei said as he giggles. Estelle stays quiet for a moment processing what Alexei just said.

So if I get married to the family I will know? She glances at Max before she smiles. Then I will just have to marry him then~

A few minutes later, Estelle's father arrive

"Papa!" Estelle said as she went to tackles hug him

"Baby girl doesn't run you will get hurt but also don't scare me that way anymore'" he said as he hugs her.

"I am sorry papa," Estelle said as she hides her face on his shoulder.

"Thank you for taking care of my daughter,"

"It's no problem, sir, your daughter was a nice company," Max said smiling

"I must repay you somehow,"

"Oh please it was nothing, plus my nephew have somebody to play with," he said patting Alexei's head

"It was a pleasure to have met her sir!"

"Well I cannot leave you without repaying back," the father said.

Then Max get an idea

"Well if you don't mind then. What if you and your family come to our shop to buy a few of our products? That would not only help for the business but also you are welcome to come back anytime," Max said smiling.

"Can we papa? Mama will love it too! Their chocolate is tasty and their rose chocolate is amazing!" Estelle said smiling at her father.

"Rose chocolate?"

"Oh yes, there," Max went to the back and come back with 2 roses chocolate.

"It looks like regular roses," the father said

"Just eat the petals and you will see," Max said

"Try it, papa!"

He sighs and takes a petal. He eats it and his eyes widen.

"It's really good,"

"See?! Told you so!" She said smiling big

"Keep those roses as a sign of friendship," Max said

"My wife and sister will surely love them. My name is Moon Clearwater,"

"Pleasure to meet you. My name is Maximilian De La Rosa and this is Alexei, my nephew,"

"Pleasure to meet you, mister Moon!"

"Please take away the mister I am not that old. If he is your nephew where is his mother?"

"She is back at home, she is pregnant and about to give birth at any moment,"

"Ah, I see. Well, then we better go. You mother and siblings are a worry for you," Moon said as he looks at Estelle

"Ok! Bye Max! Bye Lexei!" She said waving at them

"Bye you two!" Alexei said as he waves back

"Have a safe trip back home," Max said.

Moon and Estelle left the shop and went inside the car.

"For now on you will always hold my hand or if you see something tell me no matter what,"

"Yes, papa... hey papa?"

"Yes, baby girl?"

"I think I found my future husband!"

Moon chokes the air

"What?!"

"I love him a lot! I want him for my husband!" Estelle said giggles and blushing

"No, I don't approve!"

"Why not?"

"Because you are too young and you are still my baby girl,"

"Oh... then once I grow up I will marry him!" Moon sigh

"Wait until you are 20,"

"Ok!" She hugs him. "I love you, papa!"

"I love you too baby doll," as he hugs her back.

Like hell, I will allow this marriage!! I will make sure whoever she has feeling for shall be destroyed!

Max start to sneeze
