A small story of when Alice became Queen. She was 16 at that time and Moon was 23 years old. Moon belong to Lenixxoxox

Today is the day... The day in which the country will celebrate its new ruler. Not any ruler mind you. A 16 years old girl will become their Queen. It's the first time for a very long time that the country coronates a ruler under 18.

Everyone was busy at the palace as they were preparing the last preparation for the coronation. Except for one person. The princess soon-to-be Queen. Alice was in her bedroom still on her nightgown and cover on her blankets. She didn't sleep at all.

"Today is the day... I am not ready... Why everything must rush like that," she said looking at the floor. The reason why she was coronated... It's because her mother, Aubrey, kill herself not too long ago. After her death, it was announced that Alice would be the next ruler. Not only they just have the funeral done... She now has to take the throne and lead a whole country! It's too much! She didn't feel have the will to get out of her room to face everything

Maybe if I stay quiet no one will notice I am there... As soon she thought it, her bedroom door open suddenly. That startles her and looks behind her. Her big brother, Moon, was at the doorframe looking at her

"Why didn't you change yet?! The Coronation would start soon and we still have a lot to prepare!"

"... I don't want to," she said turning her back at him

"I will not accept no as an answer get up!" Moon said as he approaches the bed and takes off the blanket of her.

"Hey!"

"Get up, clean up and put your royal clothes!"

"No,"

"Starlight we don't have the time to argue!"

"I don't want to,"

"Alice-"

"I DON'T WANT TO!" her eyes start to glow and the bedroom was shaking. Moon quickly close the door and went to hug his little sister

"Shh Alice... Calm down... Please... I am sorry for yelling at you," Moon said in a soothing voice. Alice starts to calm down but tears still falling on the cheeks.

"...how could they do that...?"

"What you mean?"

"You know what I mean..." He sigh. Of course, he knows what she was talking about. He wishes she would never know about anything of the situation but there they are. He looks at his baby sister.

"Honey, I cannot tell you everything but know this... I will be there to protect you from the council," he looks deep in her eyes. "I promise," he said.

Alice looked at him and can see he was serious about keeping his promise.

"Ok, I trust you, big brother,"

"Good, now you have to get clean and change," Moon said

"Alright, but know this I am not happy about being a Queen... However, it's a duty that was bestowed to me by our parents," Alice said before she gets out of bed and went to the bathroom. Moon sigh as he knows for his 16 years old sister it was a huge responsibility upon her. He remembers the day it was announced who would be the next ruler. He already knows at that time since his father told him when he was still a teenager.

~flashback~

Moon and Abrax were in the throne room. They were arguing about some decision Moon have made during a meeting

"Are you an idiot?! You know full well declaring you are going to claim territories would lead to war!" Abrax said

"So what I am going to rule one day,"

"No, you are not"

"What?"

"This is something I was planning to tell you after this meeting but you have to go ahead and proclaim you will steal territories from them!" Abrax said rubbing his temples

"Just tell me what do you mean I wouldn't be the next heir of the throne?"

"I am going to announce to the council that only the girls in our family can take over," Abrax said with a serious look

"Wait... You want Alice to be Queen?! Why? She didn't show any interest in ruling!"

"I have been testing her for the past few months and she shows so much potential! It's would be a waste if she marries some nobles!  If she became Queen, she will be able to do an amazing thing for the country,"

"Wow, you give her so much credit... What about me?"

"I have other plans for you... You will protect Alice from the council and any sort of danger. She needs you and with her in power, she will face much danger and knowing you are by her side... She will be able to overcome everything,"

"... I understand," Moon said frowning

"Thank you, Moon. I knew I can count on you to be by her side,"

"You know I will always protect her no matter what... You didn't have to ask,"

"I know that,"

~Flashback end~

Moon was in deep thought about his conversation with his father that he didn't hear the maid calling him

"Huh? What?"

"I was just saying that the princess is ready," The maid said

Moon nods and dismisses the maid. He went back to Alice's bedroom.

"Starlight? Are you rea-" he was cut off of what he witnessed in front of him. Alice look like she can be from another world as pretty as she was.

"What do you think big brother?" Alice said as she makes a small twirl.

"Who are you and what have you done to my starlight?!" Moon said as he approaches her.

"Geez Brother! You cannot recognize your own sister?" Alice said as she rolls her eyes

"Sorry but you look like a fairy from space!" Moon said as he put his hands on her shoulders. Alice giggles at the statement

"Blame Red to make it like that!" Alice said as she grins

"I blame him all the time," Moon said as he shrugs.

"Let's go! You know the council would use that we are late as an opportunity to manipulate the people that I am not qualified to be Queen," She said rolling her eyes

"Let's knock them up with your beauty and demeanour ~," Moon said with a smirk

They both left the room and walk toward the Throne room. On their way, they spot some council members panicking a bit. They seem to be on the edge over something. Alice look at Moon but he just shrugs

They were right in front of the doors that lead to the Throne room

"Are you ready?" Moon said

"Better now than never," Alice said as she takes a deep breath.

They went inside the Throne room where they were greeted by the council, merchants and others nobles that all bow when the twins came in

Our Queen is so beautiful

She is like she doesn't come from our world

The Clearwater family sure has beautiful people!

And so on until they arrive at the throne chair. Moon kiss Alice's knuckles before he installs himself beside her further on the back. Alice came in front of the presence of the nobles.

"My people! Today I shall take the throne and rule over our beloved country! Not long ago we lost our beloved Queen mother..."

People were murmuring remembering the death of Queen Aubrey.

"But before her death, she announces that I, Alice Star Clearwater, shall be on the next line of the throne. I accept this duty giving me upon me... In doing so, I shall bring prosperity and fairness upon those land!" Alice said

The people cheer and applause in front of Alice. Moon was the one that put the crown on her head and with that, she is now Queen

"Long live Queen Alice!"
