Elves are best known as the most beautiful and graceful creatures in Middle Earth.

Royalty elves or the high elves are the beauty that can make any mortal fall to their knees and make any Elf clumsy, this is a story of a half high Elf and half Sindar Elf, her name is Yavanna, but she wasn't treated as any High or Royal Elf. She was a simple elf helping her mother's business and that was making Bows and arrows.

Yavanna was known to all with her exquisite beauty and her charming irresistible personality. She had long waist straight hair with different shades of brown and her eyes were a mesmerizing blue that no one can ignore, she was beautiful no doubt in that but there was one thing that she couldn't accept or rather couldn't believe. 

She has stolen hearts of many.

"Naneth! Three orders of a dozen arrows!" Yavanna called out, "Thank you for buying our arrows, have a nice day!" Yavanna said to the Palace guard. "No, thank you! Vanimle sila tiri Lirimaer." (Your beauty shines bright lovely one) the palace guard said to Yavanna, Yavanna smiled and said "Lle lakwenien?" (Are you joking?) the palace guard laughed merrily and said "A palace guard never jokes when I'm not drinking." making Yavanna laugh as he left.

"iell, you should think about going out with a young ellon." Yavanna's mother said as she dragged a huge basket full of feathers. Yavanna laughed and helped her mother and said "Naneth, I'm too young for that! I want to discover Middle Earth, travel to places and even fight in a battle!" Her mother laughed and said "You have wild dreams iell, but you know that no one will let you fight." Yavanna scowled and said "They have to one day! who knows..." but she was cut off as someone appeared at their store window. " 'Quel re Mellon!" (Good day friend) Tauriel said as she put her hands in the air.

"Ah! Mae Govannen Nikerym (Captain) Tauriel!" Yavanna said merrily as she went outside the store to hug her dearest friend, Tauriel. They both shared a short embrace and then they both chuckled, "I see you're still single!" Tauriel said as they pulled away, then Yavanna put her hands on her hips and said "I see you're still annoying!" Tauriel laughed merrily as Yavanna went back inside to get Tauriel's order. "Here you go! Sharp tips with green feathers!" Yavanna said as she gave the arrows to Tauriel. "Thank you! Are you going to the field to pluck some feathers?" Tauriel asked, Yavanna nodded and Tauriel said "Ah! I'll put my arrows in my house and I'll follow you there." Yavanna nodded and parted ways.

In the distance Legolas was hiding behind a barrel just watching Yavanna as she goes through her normal routine. Usually he would just blend in with the people but whenever Tauriel is near which she's always near Yavanna, he would have to hide because to Tauriel, Legolas stood out like a pink flamingo in a crowd of ostriches. 

"Your highness! Would you like to hide in a safer place?" a random person asked, "No need, I'm sorry!" Legolas said as he got out from his hiding place but just a few minutes he took his eyes off Yavanna as he look back, she was gone. Legolas' eyes widen and he snapped his head from side to side scanning the place with his beautiful blue keen eyes.

Legolas then heard a laugh behind him as he turned around to look at the person, it was that random person he was talking to a few seconds ago. "May I suggest your highness that if you really like her, I suggest you tell her rather than hiding behind some barrels. You might never know she'll love you back." he said as he carried his barrels away. "I'm afraid that she'll not feel the same way." Legolas confessed, "That's why you must tell her first before someone confesses their feelings for her and she'll love another." he said as he walked away leaving Legolas behind.

Legolas then ran off to the place where he would usually see Yavanna at and that was a few minutes away from her store. It was an open field. He hid behind the trunk of the tree watching her as she chopped some wood. He smiled as he saw her small but strong muscles flexing every time she swung that ax on the wood, her piercing blue eyes that focus and steady on the ax and wood. He admired almost everything that she did, she was like the one ring to him but in a good way.

Until Legolas heard a voice from behind him making him jump "I see you're spying on my friend there Legolas." Tauriel said as she had one hand on her hip and the other on the shaft of the ax and the body of the ax was leaning on her shoulder. "You scared me Tauriel." Legolas said as Tauriel's eyes widen and she laughed and said "Wow! The Legolas Greenleaf, scared?" as she started laughing again. "What are you doing here Tauriel?" Legolas asked trying to change the subject. 

Tauriel chuckled and said "That's me who should be asking you Legolas." Legolas' hands were sweating, his mind was a wreck, he couldn't think. Until he finally came to a conclusion. "I saw her leaving town and into the forest, you know how dangerous it is around here." he said as if it was the truth. Tauriel squintted her eyes and said "Protecting her from the distance, right, right!" as she made her way to Yavanna and she yelled back "You are welcome to join us! But if you think she is safe now, now that I am here. Then you may do as you please." "Who are you talking to?" Yavanna asked, making Legolas think that his heart wasn't only there for pumping blood.

"It's just Prince Legolas making sure we didn't go too far from the palace." Tauriel said naturally. waiting for Legolas to step out from the forest. As he stepped out from the forest, Yavanna bowed down and greeted him "Mae Govannen Prince Legolas!" then she look back at Tauriel and said "Watch this." she swung her awe like it was a toy and swiftly cut the wood in half making Tauriel laugh in envy as she said "Wow!" Legolas grinned and said "I bet I can cut the wood in half just by shooting an arrow." Tauriel and Yavanna looked at him like the Flamingo standing on it's behind legs.

"You're jesting?" Yavanna asked, what Legolas loved about Yavanna was that she was so down to earth and was so comfortable and easy to be with. "No Jest!" Legolas said as he readied his bow, Yavanna put a wood but then Legolas said "You can throw it in the air." Yavanna's eyes widen then Tauriel mumbled "Show off." Yavanna then threw the wood in the air and in a blink of an eye he shot an arrow through the sky and it split the wood in half making Yavanna admire his bow, she wondered who made it but before anything else could come to her mind, a piece of the wood fell on Yavanna's face, making her fall to the ground and scream in pain.

"Yavanna!" Tauriel shouted as she ran towards her best friend, Legolas' heart just stop for a minute "Oh my Eru." he said to himself before he ran towards Yavanna, Tauriel lifted Yavanna's head onto her lap and removed her hands that was covering her head, and then they saw that Yavanna's head was bleeding. 

Morgoth kill me now Legolas though as he saw the blood running down Yavanna's precious face.

"Legolas! We must get her to the healers!" Tauriel hissed, "I'll bring her there!" Legolas quickly said as he scooped Yavanna up into his arms trying his best to make her scent not affect him. "Hurry!" Tauriel pressured him. As they ran back towards the town.

"How are you feeling Yavanna?" Tauriel asked, Yavanna smiled and said "Feeling better." Not moving on her bed. Tauriel chuckled and said "Clumsy Legolas, he plays the show off and then someone gets hurt." Yavanna laughed and said "It's no problem Tauriel, it wasn't that bad." "Bad? Your mother is gonna be furious with me!!" Tauriel said shaking her hands in the air.

They were then interrupted by a knock at the door, they both looked and saw Legolas standing there with different colors of Tulips in his hand. "Ummm..." Legolas started, "Oh! You better be sorry! Or I'll go back and throw you in the air and split you in half with my bow and--" Tauriel was ranting but Yavanna stopped her "Tauriel! It's fine! Let him speak."  Yavanna turned to Legolas, and Legolas sworn he just died right there once his eyes connected with her bright blue eyes.

"I.. Uhhh... I am truly sorry Yavanna!" he said, a shiver went down his spine when he said her name. "I feel awful.. no bad.. no more than that!" he said as he scratched the back of his neck. "Here! These are for you!" he said as he gave her the colorful Tulips. Tauriel stood there with a smirk on her face as she stared at Legolas like he just killed his grandma's cat. "Oh my! Thank you Prince Legolas! They are beautiful!" Yavanna said as she smelt the flowers. "Please just call me Legolas." he said as he smiled at Yavanna. 

"Alright! Yavanna needs rest! That means me and you have to get out of here." Tauriel said while pushing Legolas out the door, but before Yavanna could say anything they were out the door and away from Yavanna. "You like her, don't you!" Tauriel said as she folded her arms in front of her chest. "What are you talking about?" Legolas asked trying to sound innocent. "Be quiet Legolas! I know you like her! I see you how you talk and look at her! That's why you were spying on her in the forest, I bet you planned that the wood would hit her face!" Tauriel said, "No! Hitting her face wasn't in the plan." Legolas said quickly. Tauriel smirked at him.

"Ahha! So you do like her!" Tauriel said while pointing at him. Legolas sighed and said "Yes I do, but you promise not to tell her!" Tauriel laughed and said "Oh Eru! The Prince Legolas is finally in love! The problem is when he is near her he is clumsy." Tauriel kept laughing. "Tauriel just promise me you won't tell her." Legolas said, "You tell her! or I will." Tauriel said but before any words can be spoken someone in the distanced yelled 'TAURIEL!!" Tauriel flinched at the piercing voice that called her name. "Remember my words, Prince! I better go, Yavanna's mother is looking for me." Tauriel quickly said then she ran off to where Yavanna's mother called her.

It's been a week and Legolas was scared for many reasons, he hasn't seen Yavanna since then and he's missing her so much that every time he thinks of her, his chest hurts. But he was scared to see her for many reasons, first would be that he hurt her and it would be awkward and embarrassing to show his face and second would be that maybe Tauriel already told Yavanna about his feelings, he had a lot of reasons but those two were the main ones.

Legolas was roaming the village as he usually does, just to see if anyone in the village needed his help. He wasn't a mean and selfish Prince. He helped people who needed it and he was a very kind and warm hearted Prince. He just helped a young elleth move some boxes. And once he turned around, he saw her. Yavanna. Sitting outside her store, carving wood for her bows.

Legolas was frozen where he stood, He didn't move-- no! He couldn't move. He was too mesmerized by her beauty and by the way she carved that wood. But as Yavanna wiped her forehead with her sleeve, she looked up then looked down but quickly look back up to look at Legolas, she smiled and said "Mae Govannen Legolas. Nae saian luume' ." (It has been too long) Legolas smiled, trying to seem natural even though deep inside his heart was beating fiercly. 

"Mae Govannen Yavanna. Yes, It has been too long." Legolas said naturally as he took a few steps towards her. Yavanna smiled and went back to carve her wood but that's until someone shot their arrow and it almost hit Legolas, making Yavanna look up and Legolas turn his head to see a smirking Tauriel facing them with her bow in her hand and she yelled "THE ARROW WORKED PERFECTLY!" making Yavanna laugh as she continued carving the bow she now had in her hand with no string. Tauriel then gave Legolas a knowing look saying Tell her or I will.

Legolas sighed and asked "Uhh.. Yavanna are you doing anything tonight?"  Yavanna then stood up and said "Hmm.. I think so. Why?" Legolas' heart was beating so fast that he couldn't count how many heart beats passed. "Would you like to go out... you know... with me?" Legolas asked as he was kicking the dirt like a shy kid. Yavanna laughed and said "Sure! I mean what are friends for... right?" Legolas' heart fell but that would change... soon... he hoped. "Great! I'll come to your house around 5?" he asked as he started to back away. Yavanna nodded, Legolas smiled but as he turned around to run, he almost ran into a tree but stopped just as his nose hit the trunk. He heard Yavanna giggling, Legolas turned around and let out an awkward laugh and started running.

Legolas wore his finest green tunic, brown leggings and brown boots. Hoping he has enough courage to tell Yavanna how he feels. He was not gonna tell her in a normal or ordinary way, he was gonna make it special. He quickly went out and mounted his horse, when he arrived at Yavanna's house, she was standing outside wearing a yellow long sleeve dress that came up to her ankles. She was stunning, Legolas thought.

When Yavanna saw Legolas, she smiled and said "Where are we going?" Legolas extended his hand and said "Come with me." Yavanna always being the curious and adventurous type, grabbed his hand without hesitation, trusting him with all her life. 

He was the prince after all, she knew nothing bad would happen to her as long as she was with the Prince, except for a wood falling on her head.

Legolas pulled her up in front of him, with her legs dangling off the side of the horse. Legolas wrapped his arms around her and held the reins in his hands while Yavanna's hand were on the head of the horse. "Hold on tight." Legolas said as the horse bolted into a run, Yavanna let out a squeal as she turned to Legolas' chest and wrapped her arms around his chest, making Legolas' heart beat two times faster.

Yavanna was enjoying the ride as the beauty of the forest passed by her. She was still holding on to Legolas. She didn't mind. But as they stop, it was a small rocky cliff with the beautiful view of the sunset. Yavanna couldn't take her eyes off the beautiful sun that was about to set. Legolas dismounted the horse, he helped Yavanna of the horse and watched as she slowly went to the edge to look at the sun. "It's beautiful." Yavanna whispered but Legolas heard it, he was glad that she loved the sunset. "I usually come here when I have problems." Legolas said, Yavanna turned around and in that moment, Legolas just died, the view of her took his breath away.

Her brown hair swayed at the breeze of the soft wind, her blue eyes shined bright as the sunset gave a effect to her look. "Yes... it's beautiful." Legolas whispered as he got lost in the view. Yavanna giggled and asked "So you came here because you have problem tonight?" Legolas snapped back to reality and said "No... I wanted to share this with someone. I never took anyone here.... but you." Yavanna chuckled as she looked down to the ground and looked back at him. 

"I am honored that you brought me up here." she said, Yavanna then turned around to look at the sunset. Legolas went up to her, to stand beside her. But then Yavanna began to sing. Legolas was shocked but after a few seconds, he closed his eyes just to hear her voice that sounded amazing. "Why did you bring me up here? Tauriel has been your friend for many years." Yavanna asked as her blue eye were only on Legolas. 

Then Legolas knew, it was time for him to tell her.

"That's one of the reasons why I brought you up here." Legolas said, just then the sun was out of sight and dark took over the sky. "Turn around." Legolas said, Yavanna turned around to see just the trees swaying to the right of the soft breeze. "What am I suppose to see Legolas and what do you have to tell me? All I see are--" Yavanna was cut off as soon as she suddenly saw a few Fire flies lit up. But soon many lights were lit up as some flew around and some were in the trees making it look like decorations. The sight of the fire flies in the trees took Yavanna's breath away.

Legolas smirked, he then grabbed Yavanna's hand and started to drag her in the forest. Once they were inside the forest, the forest wasn't dark due to the fire flies that flew around the area. Yavanna turned around to look at Legolas but Legolas was no where to be found. "Legolas?" she called out. but no answer could be heard, but as she turned around she saw a small paper dangling from the tree on a string. Yavanna grabbed it and read the letter,

You're the sunshine that makes my day. ♥ 

Keep walking forward.

Yavanna blushed, then she did what she did and started walking forward. Then she saw another letter dangling from a tree. She opened it and 

Your eyes are the sweetest stars, I've ever seen.

Yavanna giggled then next she saw a rock on the ground with a writing and it read;

you have the brightest cutest smile.

Then she saw what was written on the grass with small pebbles as she took a few steps and it said 

Look up.

Yavanna looked up and saw Legolas standing there with a sunflower in his hand. He smiled and said "People usually give roses, it's really common. So I want to give you a sunflower since you brighten up the world. And besides you're not common, you're different and that's why you deserve this flower." Yavanna smiled and ran to Legolas throwing her arms around his neck and whispered in his ear "Thank you Legolas! You're such a kind friend, to do something like this."

but as the word Friend left her mouth, Legolas' heart fell, his stomach tighten and his world just faded. After all this, Yavanna thought it was a friendly gesture? Legolas didn't know what to say. He was speechless, he couldn't find the words to tell her. He was afraid. 

Yavanna pulled away and said "Thank you!" again, Legolas then quickly said "What if I told you that.... I love you." Yavanna laughed as if it was a joke. "You're funny Legolas! But everyone knows that Prince's only love Princess's." she said through laughs. Making Legolas heart grieve like it never did before. 

Legolas brought Yavanna home, before Yavanna went inside she kissed Legolas' cheek. Legolas blushed but his heart was too caught up as Yavanna called him friend. As Legolas said his farewell to her, he ran into Tauriel. Which he was dreading. "Did you tell her?" she asked, as Legolas' head was bowed down and he lazily walked to the direction of the palace. "Yes." Legolas said with no emotion. "What did she say?" Tauriel asked with a smile, but as Legolas look up, Tauriel's smile faded as grief stroked her with his expression. Legolas' expression was nothing she has seen before. 

Broken, in pain, hurt, agony. you name it. 

"She laughed and called me friend and told me Prince's only fall in love with Princess's." he said, "M.. Maybe you could tell her again." Tauriel said, "No, Tauriel. I have had enough. Even though it was one time only, one is enough to break my heart." he said, Tauriel flinched at his words. 

Legolas returned to the palace, broken and thinking about Yavanna.

Yavanna was attaching the string to some of the bows that she made, until someone called her name "YAVANNA!! YAVANNA!!" she turned around and saw Tauriel in a rush. "What's wrong Tauriel?" Yavanna asked as she ran up to meet her. "The king requests as many arrows as you can make." she said in her captain voice. "For what?" Yavanna asked, worried what's happening. "Our best male warriors are setting out for the war of the one ring." as Tauriel said those words, Yavanna grew more worried. Because first of all the one ring is the deadliest thing ever, which means lots and lots of death could happen, and second the best warrior in Mirkwood is Legolas. 

"So that means Legolas is going?" Yavanna asked, Tauriel nodded and she dismissed herself as she ran to the metal-smith. Yavanna quickly got her arrows that she had already made during her spare time this year. she got ready the warrior's arrows and she knew the king would like a separate set of arrows made for Legolas. Yavanna quickly ran up to her room to get her arrows, she made them for her when the time comes that she'll learn archery.

but this is important and Legolas was also important to her,

Yavanna took out the brown quiver that was hidden in her closet, it was beautiful arrows the feathers were gold and it was the sharpest she had ever made. They were long and beautiful. Since she had time, she started to carve on each of Legolas' arrow a heart. she didn't knew why but she just did it like her body had another mind besides her own.

but soon the horn blew in the distant meaning all the warriors had to gather and it was just in time that Yavanna finished the last arrow with a perfect heart. Yavanna quickly slid the quiver over her shoulder and gathered all the other arrows and dashed off to the gates.

As soon as she got there she saw a crowd of people saying farewell to the ones that they love and know. Yavanna quickly distributed the arrows to the warriors earning a few thank you's. Lastly she saw Legolas in the front with his warrior armor. She then held the brown quiver out, Legolas then looked up as he put on his glove and their eyes connected.

"Here's your arrows." Yavanna said softly. Legolas looked serious, and grabbed the quiver and said "Thank you!" "Please stay safe Legolas! I wish I could battle by your side." she said but then Legolas then looked up to her and put his hands on her shoulders and said "Please don't do such a thing Yavanna, you're too precious to me! I can't afford to lose you. I just--" he cut himself off and leaned his forehead on Yavanna's forehead, closed his eyes and whispered to her "You're everything worth fighting for. I don't wanna lose you." he then opened his eyes and kissed her forehead then suddenly Yavanna felt something cold hit her neck.

"Keep this! I made this for you!" he said, Yavanna looked down to see a beautiful sunflower necklace made of mithril. Yavanna gasped and said "I can't accept this." Legolas held her hands and said "Please do, I might not come back, and if I don't at least you have a part of me with you." "Why me legolas? You and Tauriel have been frien--" but Yavanna was cut off by Legolas saying "Because Yavanna I lo--" but Legolas cut himself off as he leaned in and captured Yavanna's lips.

At first Yavanna was shocked and surprised at Legolas' doings, but for some strange and odd reason she kissed back and enjoyed the kiss. Yavanna was never kissed before and Legolas never kissed anyone, so the kiss that they shared was mind blowing. 

Legolas pulled away and stared deep into Yavanna's eyes and said "And if I do survive I will come back for you." and with those last words Legolas turned around to mount his horse, Yavanna went behind to stand with the rest of the people, some people looking at her in awe. 

because their Prince has finally found someone he loves.

Legolas then covered himself with a cloak as Tauriel went up to him "Come back in one piece will yah?" Tauriel asked as she patted the horse. Legolas smirked as he pulled the quiver Yavanna gave him over his shoulder, Tauriel's eyes widen knowing who is the right owner of those arrows. "Did Yavanna give you those arrows?" Tauriel asked as she grabbed one of the arrows and inspected them. "Yeah, why?" Legolas asked as his heart filled with joy that he finally had the courage to tell most likely kiss Yavanna showing her that he loves her. 

"These are Yavanna's best arrows. She spent nights and nights making these with her blood, sweat and tears. She was saving them when she will finally know archery. I guess you're special to her." Tauriel said as she returned the arrow back in the quiver. "I hope so." he said. "Keep an eye on her Tauriel, Namaarie." "Vanya Sulie." Tauriel said as she waved Legolas and the warriors off.

"Aa' menealle nauva calen ar' malta melamin." Yavanna whispered to the wind as she watched her prince leave.

(May your ways be green and gold my love)

"Cormamin niuve tenna' ta elea lle au' Mela en' coiamin." Legolas whispered to the wind as he looked back to get one more glance of his love, Yavanna.

(My heart shall weep until it sees thee again, love of my life)

Days turn into months and months turn into years.

And the only letter that Yavanna recieved from Legolas was when he arrived in Rivendell but that was months ago and as months passed, Yavanna felt emotions and feelings she had never felt in her life. She admitted she was in love with the Prince of the Woodland realm. 

Yavanna was lost in thought, thought of Legolas. Tauriel went inside the store to find Yavanna staring into space touching her necklace, when Yavanna should be working making more arrows and bows. Tauriel looked around and saw Yavanna's mother designing the bows in the other room. She quietly went behind Yavanna leaned next to her ear and said "Enjoying youself?"

Making Yavanna jump and drop the wood that she was dealing with. "Sweet Elbereth! Tauriel!! You startled me!" Yavanna said as she clutched her chest. Tauriel laughed and said "You love him! Don't you?" "What are you talking about Tauriel?" Yavanna asked as she picked up the wood that she dropped. "You know who exactly I'm talking about. Prince Legolas." Tauriel said, by the sound of his name made Yavanna's heart tightened she missed him dearly. she wanted to kiss him again. 

but Yavanna just ignored Tauriel as Tauriel continued on and on teasing her about Legolas. 

Another year has passed and Yavanna was growing more and more worried about Legolas' safety. She wanted him back here already. 

One day as Yavanna was going on with her normal routine, she suddenly saw warriors come inside the realm, cloaked in armor and helmets and marching and in the front was a handsome and strong looking warrior. To Yavanna's curiousity, she followed them and was stopped in front of the Palace with King Thranduil in front and Tauriel beside him. "King Thranduil." said the handsome one "Lord Elrond sends word to gather warriors to fight in helms deep. To honor the old alliance between men and elves who fought together and died." King Thranduil nodded and announced "I will send the best warriors I have left." and Yavanna knew that she had to go. She just had to know that Legolas is even alive out there.

Yavanna ran to Tauriel, holding her arm and saying "Tauriel, I can come and fight! I will dedicate my life to this war!" "No Yavanna, you are needed here! You know nothing of fighting or even self defense." Tauriel said. "Haven't you heard me young elleth, we might die out there." said the handsome one. "Then you can't go Tauriel, You could teach me!" Yavanna said. "No, it took me years to know how to fight. Yavanna this is no place for you." Tauriel said, even though it hurt Yavanna, she knew that Tauriel would say anything to make Yavanna stay.

Tauriel walked into Yavanna's store while she carried her armor, cloak, bow and arrows and even her helmet. "Yavanna, I hope you don't mind. That I will sleep here for a while to get some rest before the war. But please wake me up when someone comes to get me. Okay?" Tauriel said as she went to Yavanna's room with Yavanna walking behind her. "Yes, Tauriel and Tauriel if you go. Please come back. I don't know how I'll live without my best friend." Yavanna said, Tauriel smiled and embraced Yavanna. "I can't promise, but I'll do my best."

A few hours later, a warrior came up to Yavanna and said "Please tell Captain Tauriel, she needs to be ready in twenty minutes." Yavanna nodded and was about to get Tauriel when an idea came to Yavanna's head. She knew it was risky, she knew it was dangerous but if Legolas said that she is worth fighting for then Legolas was someone worth dying for. 

Yavanna quickly and quietly went to her room, braided her hair like Tauriel would braid hers and dressed into Tauriel's armor, she put on her helmet and cloak looked herself into the mirror and said to herself "I can do this." she got the bow and sword and put it on her, her heart was full of fear because never in her life has she wielded any weapon, she knew it was something stupid, the things you do for love.

Yavanna walked out and was soon given orders to march in the third line behind some of the other captains. Yavanna did as she was told to, not speaking to anyone scared she might give herself away, and before they marched off, Yavanna touched her necklace and whispered to the Valar "Protect me." soon they were off.

Hours later, Tauriel woke up and found out it was dark, her eyes widen as she quickly went downstairs and shouted "Yavanna!! I told you to wake me up!!" she went outside and saw none of the warriors. Tauriel asked the first person she could see "Uhh.. Mae Govannen! But do you know where the warriors are at?" "They left hours ago Tauriel, I thought you left with them." the person said, the idea in Tauriel's mind was insane and crazy and she didn't want to believe it. So she quickly ran back to Yavanna's house and went to her room, she opened her closet where Tauriel put her armor but then she saw the armor was gone, fear was all the Tauriel could feel not for herself but for Yavanna,

"Oh no."

Yavanna marched for days, her feet aching the whole way but she tried her best not to let it show. Sometimes they would stop and rest but Yavanna kept to herself but once the Helms deep was in her sight her heart soared and she tried to reach out to Legolas but nothing happened. Soon one of the people marched with her blew the horn, announcing that they arrived in Helms deep where Legolas was.

As they marched in Helms deep, each step they took accelerated Yavanna's heart beat. Soon the handsome one known as the March Warden of Lorien, Haldir. Was talking to the person known King Theoden. Then in a few seconds as they planned, Yavanna and the elves turned their heads and their body to face them. Good thing Yavanna was in the middle so no one could see her. 

But then a human came from behind the King followed by.... Legolas. Yavanna's eyes widen and her heart was beating crazy like it wanted to leap out her chest. She was happy and thrilled to see Legolas alive. She tried with all her might to not smile or run towards him. "Thirty minutes till they get here!" one of the humans shouted, Haldir gave us a signal that we could rest. Humans started to come towards us and greet us. So it was full and crowded. Yavanna tried to find her way to Legolas. 

A human with brown hair and a beard kept looking at Yavanna, and Yavanna noticed that. So she also tried her best to get away from that man before he did anything to reveal her, but soon as Yavanna turned to look for Legolas, she saw him looking out in space towards where we came from, where a view of the trees and mountains stood.

Yavanna smiled and was about to approach him when something made her stop, a young woman that happens to be a human came behind Legolas and wrapped her arms around Legolas' waist. Her eyes stared at them widely as if she saw Smaug the dragon come back to life. She couldn't hear what the young woman was saying but Legolas smiled and grabbed her hands to turn around and look at her, she was beautiful with her tanned skin and long blonde hair (A/N: Not eowyn though)

Yavanna couldn't take it anymore, the more she looked and stared the more her heart broke. Yavanna was on the urge of breaking down and cry, for the first time in her life she fell for someone and accepted him. But everything just went tumbling down like a waterfall. Her heart was broken and if Legolas cannot find her within these last hours she would either die by being killed in the battle or she might die before, from a broken heart.

Yavanna started to walk away, everything around her was blurry and slow, but suddenly someone pulled her to the side, "Who are you?" someone asked, she looked up and saw the brown headed human. Yavanna was scared but she didn't care anymore, "My name is Yavanna, whats yours?" she asked without any emotion. "I'm Aragorn, are you suppose to be here?" he asked, Yavanna let out a laugh like she was insane. "Yeah, but my reasons to be here are nothing now." she said, Aragorn was confuse but maybe this was a warrior from one of the elven kingdoms. Aragorn nodded and let the elleth go and watched as she slowly walked away. 

He knew something was wrong here.

Yavanna and everyone else was suddenly lined up and Yavanna didn't care anymore, she was gonna fight for Middle Earth now. She was gonna die for her love to the beauty of her land. She wasn't gonna fight for Legolas anymore, as it was obvious that he wasn't only fighting for her. 

Suddenly it rained, then for the first time in Yavanna's life she drawn her bow and pulled back an arrow and surprisingly she could pull it back. She was unsteady for a few seconds but got used to it, but suddenly Yavanna's arrow slipped and she accidentally shot an Orc down, "I said hold your fire!" someone shouted, but Yavanna quickly got another arrow and looked to her left as if it wasn't her who shot the arrow. 

Everything went so fast, Yavanna just stood on the side shooting Orcs as if it was a game to her. She was enjoying shooting arrows, but once the ladders came she switched to her sword. suddenly she heard the human, Aragorn shout to Legolas to shoot an Orc, Yavanna look down to see an Orc running towards the wall with fire and there was explosives down there, making Yavanna's eyes widen. She tried to run away but it was too late. She was blown in the air, and everything was slow. She still saw Legolas on the wall shooting and slaying Orcs like a Pro.

As soon as Yavanna hit the ground, her back ached. Yavanna saw blood coming out from her side but she ignored it as she pushed herself up to fight more. Suddenly she saw an Orc try to kill Haldir, Yavanna quickly ran to him, she quickly helped him but she couldn't stop as a sword plunge to his side but she stopped an orc to stab him with an ax. Aragorn came quickly to Haldir to help him get inside because someone then was shouting "RETREAT!!" Aragorn nodded at me and ran off with Haldir on his side. 

Yavanna was about to retreat until she saw Legolas still shooting out there, then something caught Yavanna eye. She then saw an Orc from a distance with a bow and arrow aiming for Legolas. Yavanna's heart was sinking and was beating fast at the same time. Right as the Orc pulled the arrow back without thinking Yavanna ran towards him and suddenly the arrow was flying. 

"LEGOLAS!!!" Yavanna shouted, Legolas turned around quickly and his eyes widen when he saw Yavanna running towards him. Yavanna wrapped her arms around his chest and turned Legolas around so Yavanna's back was facing where the arrow was coming from. Soon two arrows pierced Yavanna's back making blood coming out her mouth. "YAVANNA!!!" Legolas shouted as horror filled his eyes as he looked into her now dull blue eyes and he could see that her life was now fading. 

Then everything went black.

Legolas killed any Orcs that came near, Aragorn and Gimli came to his aid. He carried Yavanna in his arms. Once they were inside Legolas called for the healers. "You know this elleth?" Aragorn asked, "Yes, she is the one I plan to marry." Legolas said, Aragorn flinched as he saw the look in Legolas' eyes. Like he lost every war he ever battled in but even worse not even words could tell how Legolas felt or look.

Once the battle of Helms deep was over, Legolas went to Gandalf and asked for his help. Gandalf agreed and helped Legolas heal Yavanna as she was pierced with two poisoned arrows to her back. Gandalf was inside along with Aragorn and a few healers. Legolas waited outside.

Soon someone shouted "YAVANNA!!" Legolas turned and saw Tauriel running towards him. "Legolas!!" she shouted as she crashed in Legolas' arms in a brother and sisterly way. "Where is Yavanna?" she asked, Tauriel's eyes were red and puffy. "First you tell me what was she doing here?" Legolas demanded making Tauriel flinched, Tauriel stood up straight and said "I was resting at her house before we march off, I told her to wake me up but as I woke up. Yavanna was gone and so was my armor. I cried with her mother and asked King Thranduil if I could travel here. He agreed. But Legolas.... she came here because of you." 

Legolas sat down in a chair with his face in his hands. (A picture of Legolas crying in my external link) and Tauriel was shock to see Legolas crying. "Please don't tell me she's dead." Tauriel said as she started to cry. "I.. don't... know." Legolas said through sobs. 

A few hours later all the healers came out, Legolas stood up and Gandalf said "She will be fine, she just needs to rest. Remember we leave next week for Isengard. If she hasn't woken up till then, then we must leave her here." Legolas nodded and went inside the room to a very skinny and pale Yavanna, Tauriel came in after him and she let out a sob. Legolas ran to her side and started caressing her. Hoping she would respond to his touch, but nothing came and Legolas cried more. He didn't want to leave her till she wakes up but he have to if she hasn't waken up next week, because he wants to make sure Middle earth will be a safe place for her, for Yavanna. 

Days have passed, Tauriel sometimes left the room to grab them food or anything they needed but ever since Legolas entered the room, he never left Yavanna's side. He kept whispering to her and hoping she would wake up, even Haldir came in to give him his gratitude to Yavanna, because of her Haldir was alive. Legolas was glad to know that, but his grief was higher than any emotion that filled him. 

It was the last day, the day before Legolas would leave and Legolas was dreading that he would have to leave Yavanna. Tauriel was sleeping on a chair. Legolas then leaned towards Yavanna and cupped her face and whispered to her "If I shall leave you, I will promise to come back alive and return to you. You have my heart Yavanna and that would never change. Please wake up." but nothing happened, Legolas' tears fell on her delicate face. 

"I love you Yavanna!" Legolas said

Suddenly he felt Yavanna's finger move. Legolas jumped back then he saw Yavanna slowly opening her eyes. "Tauriel!! She's waking up!" Legolas said shaking Tauriel in her chair. Tauriel's eyes widen as she bolted up and out the door calling and searching for Gandalf. 

"L..Lego...Legolas?" Yavanna croaked, Legolas' tears were falling down and he was smiling as he saw his love awake on her bed. "Yavanna!" Legolas said as he cupped her face and started giving her small kisses around her face. "You're stupid for what you did, don't you know how worried I am. The thought of losing you just breaks my heart." Legolas said through kisses and sobs. 

Yavanna tried to smile but failed, not because of the pain that coursed through her back but also the pain of the memory that Legolas was also fighting for a human woman. She didn't want to believe it nor did she want to talk about it but it was something that she can't live with. 

Yavanna gently push Legolas away and whispered "You don't need to pretend, Legolas." Legolas was confused with her words. "What are you talking about Yavanna?" Legolas asked as he tightened his hold on her. "I saw you with that human woman, if you love her.... go... I will not stop you." Yavanna said not making eye contact. Tauriel's eyes widen and she hissed "You told me you love Yavanna... and you're with someone else." Tauriel lifted her hand to slap Legolas but Yavanna stopped her by holding her hand and said softly "No Tauriel... he deserves something else." Legolas' eyes widen and was on the verge of breaking down and fading on the spot.

"What..-" Legolas was cut off as Yavanna let tears flow down her face and she sad softly "I don't want to see you again, because the sight of you can break my heart and soul." Legolas was now crying and saying "No, I can't *sniff* do that... you mean everything to me." Legolas was trying to convince her but Yavanna has had enough "PLEASE LEGOLAS!! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!! I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU ANYMORE!! I DON'T LOVE YOU!!" Yavanna yelled making Legolas and Tauriel jump back. 

Legolas stood up straight, looked at Tauriel and said "Make sure she gets home safely." he took one more glance at Yavanna who wasn't looking at him and then he left, but as each step he took away from Yavanna, he could feel and hear his heart breaking and soul shattering.

A year later, Legolas still hasn't returned home. The day when Yavanna was healed was the day she went back home. Guarding her heart like a hawk. But still Yavanna was broken and still in love with Legolas. You could tell since she was wearing the necklace that he gave her. She couldn't just let Legolas go, he was meant for her, her soulmate. Her love.

Day and Night she worked for hours just making arrows and bows just to keep her busy so her mind won't wander to where Legolas could be or if he is even alive. She didn't want to know. Even though deep inside she craved and desired for him. It was the day that the one ring has finally been destroyed, everybody in Mirkwood from maiden to metal-smith and from royal to guards celebrated and feast for the new peace of Middle Earth. 

but Yavanna just stayed in her house, she didn't felt like celebrating, yeah she was happy that Middle Earth was now in peace but still her soul and heart will never be at peace. And she thought maybe one of the reason why Legolas hasn't returned was because he was with that mortal. 

Yavanna let out a sob, she kept crying at the thought of Legolas with the mortal. Instead of staying inside the house, Yavanna decided to take a walk in the forest, to clear her mind. Yavanna brought her bow and arrows so she could practice. Once she got to the clearing where Legolas accidentally hit her with a piece of wood, she enjoyed the quietness. 

A few hours she has been practicing her shooting against a piece of wood, Yavanna went over to claim her arrows but as she collected her arrows another arrow shoot through the air almost hitting Yavanna in the cheek, but it hit dead center on the wood. She looked closely at the arrow and saw a heart near the tip. Yavanna's eyes grew wide, she knew who they belong to.....

Legolas.

He shot another arrow hitting next to his last shot but this time the arrow had a piece of paper,

Please turn around. it read.

Yavanna turned around and saw Legolas in his royal elven tunic and his circlet. Yavanna's stomach tightened. Yavanna was about to speak but Legolas beat her to it. "I know you said that you didn't want to see me..... but that was if I had a relationship with that mortal, but I don't. She was a clingy mortal who was after my title and riches..... but that's not the reason why I came here, I came here to tell you that... I love you Yavanna... I have always loved you from the first day I saw you and until this moment and will always love you till the end of our time. I have followed and spied on you for seven years, watching you from a distance until that faithful day I showed off and hurt you. I thought you would never love me after that but I couldn't give up, I needed you in my life. Not only am I captured by your looks but also by your heart and soul. I especially love how you pour your love in making bows and arrows. I love your smile, your eyes. I just love everything about you." Legolas said in the dark starry night.

"I'm sorry." he said lastly, Yavanna couldn't help the overwhelming feeling in her heart or the spark that she felt towards Legolas. She loved him and a life without him is no life at all. 

Yavanna smiled and ran towards Legolas crashing into his arms, she whispered "I love you." making Legolas hug her back with all his might. Legolas pulled away and looked deeply into her eyes and asked "Will you marry me?" as he held up a green diamond ring. Yavanna smiled and her heart soared instead of saying anything, she crashed her lips on Legolas' lips and they shared a passionate and intense kiss. 

Legolas knew what her answer was,

And they lived Happily forever.
