Hand in Mine, Into your Icy-Blues. [Faramir One shot for aislinns1]

"I remember on one trip, she ate like three lembas bread." Aragorn said through laughs as he was talking to Gandalf in the beautiful and peaceful home of Elrond, Imladris.

Gandalf gave out a laugh, "She's still a little one, but she has lots to learn about." Gandalf said while smoking his pipe. They were talking about Gandalf's adopted daughter, Aislinn.

"I thought she was here in Imladris working with Elrond on her healing?" Aragorn asked. "No, no, she went off to Rohan. She heard King Theoden is sick. I think she is on her way here, she misses you so much." Gandalf said while standing up to make his way to the secret council.

Aislinn was running late as always, riding as fast as she can on her white steed. Her long silver-white hair flying behind her back, it looked like a silver cape. Her piercing Icy-blue eyes keeping eye on anything that might attack her.

She was beautiful indeed, but what made her stand out was she's an independent healer, she always was since she was under the care of Gandalf. She never knew anything about her parents even though Gandalf knows.

Once she was at the gates of Imladris she smiled and the guards let her pass, Once she got to the stable she quickly dismounted her horse and ran as fast as she can in her long brown gown, to arrive right on time with the council.

"I am terribly sorry that I'm late, there was an injured man just outside the borders of Rohan and I helped him." she said as she put her hand to her chest trying to catch her breath. "Please do sit Aislinn." Elrond said as he showed her where to sit which was right beside Gandalf.

She listened and participated in the council and found herself joining the fellowship along with the men who she cared about Gandalf, Boromir, and Aragorn. She had met Aragorn, Faramir and Boromir back when she was traveling around Middle-Earth.

Once the council was done she quickly got up and ran into Aragorn's arms, "Nae saian luume'." (It has been too long) Aislinn whispered in his ear. "A bit too long, I miss your stubbornness." Aragorn said and they both laughed as they pulled away.

"How is King Theoden fairing?" Aragorn asked, Aislinn eyes showed concern and sorrow "There was nothing I could do, he has fallen under the darkness of Saruman." she said, Aragorn put a hand on her shoulder and said "My friend, don't show grief for it was not your fault such darkness lives upon this land." Aislinn gave him a faint smile.

Until she felt strong arms wrapped around her and picking her up. "Where is my greetings young lady?" someone asked, but she knew who it was. "Ah! There you are, I miss you the mighty Boromir." she said as she was settled down on the ground and she faced her dear friend.

As she looked upon his face she remembered a friend who she cared about deeply, his young brother, Faramir. Ever since the day she met Faramir she has been smitten over him but never had she told him about her feelings.

"How are you fairing young one?" asked Boromir. "I am well as you can see, how about you and your brother?" she asked trying hard not to show she truly cares for his young brother.

"We have been good, Faramir is taking over the orders in Gondor." Boromir replied. Aislinn smiled and since it was the last night she'll be in Imladris and the only night where she could sleep on a comfy bed, she decided to retire early that day. As her head hit the pillow she fell asleep dreaming about Faramir.

The Journey of the fellowship continued and she was hoping in one of those days she could see Faramir. She always carried a heavy heart when she's not with him.

The reason why she has fallen for Faramir was because he was always kind towards her, whenever she was frustrated with her studies on healing he would always find a way to cheer her up. He was always there for her, but the only time she felt connected with Faramir was when they both said goodbye, Aislinn hates goodbyes and Faramir knows so what he did was he said "See you later sweetling." and kissed her head then gave her a peck on the lips.

Ever since then Aislinn was in love with Faramir but since she knows that darkness is suddenly rising she has decided that once she sees Faramir she would tell him of her feelings.

Aislinn was walking silently with Faramir on her mind that she didn't notice Frodo was looking at her, "Are you okay my lady?" he asked, Aislinn snapped back to reality "Why, yes. Why do you ask?" Aislinn asked trying to hide that she is blushing by the thought of Faramir.

Too late, Frodo noticed. "My, I must be charming since I made the lady turn red." He said as he laughed, "Nah! She is just dreaming about my younger brother." Boromir said even though he was in front of her.

Aislinn gasped, "How did you know?" she asked. Boromir chuckled and said "Just because I am mortal doesn't mean I'm blind. I saw my brother kissed you and how you reacted to it."

Everyone was smiling now, Aislinn was now blushing like a red tomato.

The Journey was adventuring for Aislinn but her heart couldn't take much pain as she entered the Mines of Moria. Gandalf fell trying to protect the fellowship from the Balrog. As she saw Gandalf fell her heart shattered into pieces. She never stopped crying, she was always in Aragorn's arms crying her heart out.

As she entered the forest of Lothlorien, she finally felt a bit of comfort from the power of Lady Galadriel. She focused on some of the magic that Lord Celeborn was teaching her, it was the only way to keep her mind off her only family member that she knew.

Gandalf was very precious to her, he raised her and she looked up to him as a father. As she thought that everything was alright as she left the forest of Lothlorien her heart couldn't take the pain anymore, she was close to fading. Her beauty didn't shine like it used to, her smiles turned into frowns she was drowning in her own tears because Boromir fell.

As she saw the three arrows sticking out of his body she stood there frozen unable to accept what she had just saw. When Aragorn beheaded the Uruk-Hai she quickly dashed as fast as she could to the side of Boromir,

"Please Boromir, stay with me. I can heal you." Aislinn said through sobs. Tears were streaming down her cheeks uncontrollably. Boromir caught Aislinn's trembling hand before she could grab her herb from her small bag. "No young one, it is time for me to go." he said.

Aragorn was beside Aislinn, "They took the little ones." Boromir said. "Frodo, where is Frodo?" Boromir asked, "I let Frodo go." Aragorn whispered, Aislinn's eyes grew wide at Aragorn but couldn't react for her heart was in deep pain.

"Then you did, What I have could not," Boromir said "I tried to take the ring from him."

"The ring is beyond our reach now." Aragorn said, Aislinn didn't listen all that went through her head was memories of her and Boromir. She cherished Boromir's friendship as if he was her brother but then she heard her name "Aislinn, you are very beautiful. My brother told me so, please tell him of your heart for your heart is pure... Faramir loves..." but Boromir couldn't finish his heart stopped beating.

Aislinn screamed at the top of her lungs, she lunged into Aragorn's arms and sobbed. Aislinn couldn't understand what she was feeling. She lost her Father Gandalf and now she lost her brother, Boromir. If she was to lose Aragorn she would fade.

Aislinn kept moving on, she was strong enough.

As the journey went on, Aislinn was cured for she found her only father alive, she ran into him in the Fangorn Forest. She ran to him with tears of Joy in her eyes embracing him with all that she has left. Her heart was full of hope.

The Journey went on and now Aislinn was on her way to Gondor, Minas Tirith for Pippin held Saruman's Orb and now she had to go to Minas Tirith to help heal the wounded.

As her horse stepped into the City her heart cried out only one name to be alive, Faramir. Even though her white dress was dirty from the mud she still looked amazing.

As they reached at the top of the city she quickly dismounted her horse leaving Gandalf and Pippin behind opened the door as if it was her own home and saw Faramir with his father.

"Faramir!" Aislinn cried out as she ran to him, "Aislinn!" Faramir cried out and also ran to her as soon as Aislinn was in Faramir's arms she felt safe, she smelt his scent of metal and caramel. She missed him dearly.

"I have missed you." she whispered in his ear, Faramir kissed her head and whispered "So have I." Suddenly his father said "What about the battle? Enough of this foolishness." Aislinn looked at Faramir for an answer.

"I am to lead my men to attack the Orcs from the front." He said as he stared behind her, "What?" Aislinn gasped in horror. "That's suicide, no! I won't let you go!" she said, Faramir didn't answer Aislinn.

As much as he loved and cared for Aislinn the pain in his heart that his father didn't loved him tore him apart. Aislinn's eyes were crying again, "Please don't leave me." she sobbed. Faramir grabbed Aislinn by the hand and led her out so Gandalf could talk to his father.

"Aislinn this is asked from my father." He said with authority in his voice, Aislinn's tears spilled as if it was a waterfall. When Aislinn voice couldn't find the right words. Faramir turned around and walked.

Aislinn panicked, she didn't want Faramir to leave. "Faramir... please... " but he didn't stop, "I LOVE YOU!" she shouted before he could descend the stairs. He stopped and turned around to face Aislinn. "Faramir, I love you! Please don't leave me!" she begged

Faramir didn't speak, all he did was ran to her, Aislinn ran meeting him in the middle and instead of pulling Aislinn in his arms he put his lips upon hers. Kissing her passionately. Aislinn could tell by his kiss that he longed and desired this for a long time. And so did she.

The kiss went on for a long time, Aislinn didn't want it to end. She would give up her immortality just to be with faramir.

Faramir pulled back knowing there is a war happening below them, "You don't know how long I have been waiting for that my love, I can't follow what you desire and stay here. I must fight but upon my return I shall come to you, protect you and claim you as mine. Will you be my wife Aislinn?" he asked as he looked deeply into her Icy blue eyes and her hand in his.

Faramir adored Aislinn, he saw the world in her eyes. He loved to look at her eyes and get lost in them. He has never seen such beautiful Icy blue eyes in his life, that's what grabbed his attention in the first place.

"Yes my love, I will marry you." she replied, and they shared another passionate kiss and Aislinn watched as Faramir prepared for battle. Hoping and Praying he would live.

Aislinn was wrong as she saw Faramir ride out in the battle field. She saw the arrows fly and pierce the one she loves, her eyes screamed his name and she fell to her knees as if the world around her disappeared. She quickly stood up and ran to the front gate of Minas Tirith and she didn't care how dangerous it was or how long it would take her to get down there all she cared about was Faramir.

Once she reached the gate she saw that Faramir was pierced with an arrow and it reminded her of Boromir's death, but she let out a sigh because she could still heal faramir but panicked because he was in pain.

As soon as she reached the top with men carrying Faramir's body. Denethor came out and hovered over his son, "My lord I can heal him." Aislinn spoke in a soft voice but Denethor glared at Aislinn as if she was the evil itself and hissed "You're the one who did this because of you my son is dead." Aislinn took a step back but guards held her arms and Denethor shouted "Take her away!"

"NO! My lord! I can heal him!" Aislinn shouted and squirmed, everything around her was moving slow. Her eyes lingered on Faramir. And she found herself crying again in her own dungeon.

Images of Faramir came to her head and she cried but then she stopped crying, she stood up and held the metal bars between her small hands and she remembered Lord Celeborn taught her a myth of elven folk when she was in Lothlorien after the fall of Gandalf.

She chanted a few words and the metal in front of her turned into dust, she laughed in success and ran as fast she can to the top but as she got there no one was there. Until she saw Gandalf and Pippin.

"Come Aislinn! We have to save Faramir!" Gandalf shouted as she followed his horse to where she saw the most terrifying view of her life. Denethor on top of piles of wood covered in oil and she saw Faramir laying down in front of him. Gandalf kicked him with his horse and in a minute Denethor ran out on fire, while Pippin and her pushed Faramir out of the pile of wood.

She saw Faramir stirred a little and she whispered "It's alright my love, I will heal you." as some men helped her with Faramir, she quickly healed him and lay down with him so she knows that her Fea would protect him from death.

**

The ring was finally destroyed, that's when Faramir woke up and he found his love sleeping right next to him, he smiled to himself and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear.

He kissed her all over her face waking her up, she laughed and kissed him back. Aislinn was happy to see Faramir awake. She felt safe once again and far away from pain. "I remembered you promised me something my love." Aislinn said with a smirk on her face, "I didn't forget my sweetling." He said as he kissed the tip of her nose.

Aislinn and Faramir wedded a few days later not wanting to wait another minute. Their love grew deep and soon Faramir was king of Ithilien and Aislinn became his Queen they had three beautiful children and Aislinn couldn't be more happier and so was Faramir, He was contented looking into her Icy blues with her hand in his even if they wouldn't live forever.
