The Ring of Sauron has been destroyed, people of Middle Earth celebrate and rejoiced for a brand new start, the heroes who played a huge part in destroying Sauron were more than just happy, all of them returning home excited to see missed loved ones except one,

Legolas.

He felt as each step his horse took towards his home, Eryn Lasgalen or was known as Mirkwood or the great Greenwood. Yes, he missed his father and kin he missed how every night he would patrol the boarders and how he would stare at the stars every night while listening to the quiet conversations of his kin. It was peaceful but his father promised him that when he would return home he shall throw a feast for him and show him all the elleths who are eligible and unmarried, but Legolas didn't want to marry just any beautiful elleth, he wanted to marry the elleth that he'll love, marry her because he wanted to not because he was forced to.

Finally Legolas entered the gates of his lovely home, he saw people from high above cheering as they saw him. "Welcome back home my son!" King Thranduil's voice boomed the hall silencing everyone. Legolas' eyes fell to the floor knowing what was coming next "We shall feast and introduce you to the lovely five elleths that we have been preparing for you over the time that you were gone." he said.

Legolas sighed as he faked a smile.

On the other side of the story there was an elleth named Allessandra, she wasn't your typical graceful elf. This elf was unique, even though she is quite clumsy at times and has spunk and humor still she was an amazing elf to the people who knew her well. Her long brown blonde hair covered her bare shoulders, she was wearing a light green silk dress with off shoulder top. She was one of the eligible elleths to be presented to the Prince of the woodland realm. Allessandra did not care at all.

She craved adventure even though she battled secretly in the war of the ring. She ran away from home fighting and joined the battle in Gondor. Good thing she survived and rode back home to Rivendell were she found out her parents left for Valinor. She was scolded by Lord Elrond for taking off like that and was to be sent to Eryn Lasgalen to be presented to the Elf. Allessandra had no where else to go, she was an Elf who wanted to wander through Middle Earth she does not desire to be Queen of Eryn Lasgalen or treasures and gems. She wanted a horse that would never get tired, a quiver that would never be empty of arrows, and a never ending breath of adventure.

Suddenly Allessandra noticed how long she has been sitting on the rock over viewing the Lonely mountain, she scrambled up as she made her way towards Thranduil's halls.

"First we have, Caladwen of Lothlorien she enjoys cooking and sewing and has a thing for blonds." a servant announced as a silver blonde elleth entered the room. She was flawless, she was perfect as she was in her light orange silk dress that complimented her big silver eyes. but Legolas sat next to his father's throne unfazed by the elleth. The servant who was an elleth then awkwardly continued "Second we have Captain Faelwen of Rivendell she enjoys sword fighting and fine dining and has a soft spot for animals." another elleth entered with dark brown hair tied in a neat bun with striking dark brown eyes and was wearing light armor showing her position in the Rivendell guard.

Legolas then raised an eyebrow intrigued but somehow he still sat emotionless, the servant elleth who gathered all her eligible and beautiful elleths scratched her head since she has been preparing for a long time. "Thirdly we have Adlanniel of Celondim, Ered Luin she enjoys gardening and painting also enjoys the snow." yet another elleth walked in with short hair almost white and big hazel eyes and was wearing white flowing gown that trailed behind her she winked as she saw the Prince where Legolas in his mind shuddered. The proud servant elleth then announced the fourth "Second to the last we have, Valadhiel of Eryn Lasgalen she enjoys singing and dancing is known to be super talented." another elleth entered the room who had red brown hair that reached right below her breasts and brown eyes she was wearing a dark blue silk dress as she entered Legolas couldn't help but roll his eyes, he has seen this elleth before stalking him and trying to talk to him all the time. 

Legolas then said if he sees another elleth from this servant he would be sick not that they are ugly or disgusting but the thought of marrying one of them wasn't to Legolas' liking. He just looked up to his father who smiled down at him as if asking him you could never find another eligible beautiful elleths only the ones standing in front of you. "Lastly we have Allessandra of Rivendell who enjoys adventure and traveling and is excited for this moment." but after a few seconds no elleth came out. "Where is Allessandra!?" the servant frantically asked wondering where is his last elleth to present to the Prince. The other four giggled as their last companion did not arrive. "I swear that good fo--" but the servant was cut off by an elleth who just ran inside finishing her sentence

"Yeah yeah, good for nothing elleth who acts like a selfish human." she said trying to fix her flower circlet on her head but failing as the circlet keeps falling messing her brownish blonde hair up. The servant shut up making Legolas stifle a chuckle. "Allessandra of Rivendell at your service and your families." she said as she did a sloppy bow "Who enjoys adventure and traveling and--" but she was cut off as the servant finished for her "is excited for this moment, I am done saying that you are suppose to stay quiet." Allessandra then forcefully put her circlet on her head making her hair stand up and tied in knots and snapped back "No I'm not! You are the one who forced me into this." the King glared at the servant while the servant glared at the elleth who had no manners. 

"Dolle naa lost!" the servant snapped at her

(Your head is empty)

"Llie n'vanima ar' lle atara lanneina." Allessandra said making Legolas chuckle

(You're ugly and your mother dresses you funny)

The servant looked offended and said "Amin feuya ten' lle!"

(You disgust me)

"Auto miqula orqu!" Allessandra said as she stuck her tongue out

(Go kiss an Orc) 

"Enough!" Thranduil shouted also trying to hold his laughter. "My son shall talk to all of them and dance with each one for him to choose." the four elleths looked happy and excited except for Allessandra she just snorted at the idea of dancing with the Prince even though he was attractive as she expected, still she didn't want to marry a Prince settle down and become Queen. Legolas began with the first elleth that has been introduce and even though Allessandra waited for her turn still it felt like each elleth took forever so instead of waiting she sneaked out and hopefully she could make her way back to the rock right above the hill that had the view of the lonely mountain.

As she arrived at the same rock she sat this morning she sighed in relief as the sun was still setting. She threw the flower circlet on the ground frustrated by getting all dressed up for a silly occasion. "Her mother dresses her funny, ha ha ha that's funny. I crack myself up." Allessandra mumbled to herself when suddenly a voice out of nowhere spoke "I agree." she jumped a bit and face the owner of the unknown voice. 

Legolas couldn't stand another second with one of the eligible elleths all they ever talk about was themselves or about him or about how their future would be if Legolas were to choose them. They might be beautiful, brave and talented but most of them are a complete bore. Legolas felt as if he was sleep walking when suddenly he saw that quirky elleth left the gates quietly hoping she wouldn't be seen. Legolas excused himself and told everyone he needed time alone so he could think who would be his bride. He silently followed the elleth and found out she was just sitting on a rock watching the sun set. 

"Her mother dresses her funny, ha ha ha that's funny. I crack myself up." she mumbled but enough for Legolas to hear, he chuckled to himself and then said "I agree." the elleth jumped a bit and spun around, the elleth's green eyes widen in fear. "I agree that her mother dresses her funny." Legolas said as he took a few steps towards her. "Aren't you suppose to be knocking elleths off their feet right now?" she asked confused why the Prince was right in front of her. "I'm supposed to but I wanted to take a break. Their presence can be overwhelming." he replied as he took a seat on the same rock as she. 

"What's your name again?" Legolas asked already have forgotten her name "Allessandra of Rivendell." she replied not facing the Prince just keeping her gaze on the sun set. "You don't seem like the other elleths back there you seem--" the Prince was cut off by Allessandra saying "Quirky? Weird? Strange? Name me anything you want Princeling because no matter what you say I don't care." more like hissed. "Woah! I don't mean it in an insulting way. I'm just saying you aren't excited to get married to a Prince since it is after all every girls dream." Legolas defended himself.

"Eenk!!" Allessandra did a buzzing sound telling him he was wrong "You don't know how much you are wrong Blondie, some girls dream of adventure, some dream to become a warrior some dream to become a healer not all girls including myself would like to get married to a Prince-- no offense! And become Queen. It is a total bore and you don't know how much I can't stand sitting inside closed walls." she said the Prince listened to Allessandra as she explained that not all elleths are the same. "I mean I have always dreamed traveling the world and seeing new things that's why I was in the battle of Minas Tirith fighting beside the race of men." she said. "But aren't elleths suppose to--" Legolas was yet cut off again by Allessandra "Yeah, yeah stay home and blah blah blah-- No! I shall not agree to stay within closed and guarded walls while my kin are out there sacrificing their lives for us. Everyone is apart of this world, if we shall fight together then we shall all die together." Allessandra said.

Legolas thought for a while. He knew it may be a risk but it is a risk he was willing to take with Allessandra instead of the other four. "Then come with me." Legolas said, Allessandra's head snapped towards him with a scowl on her face "What are you talking about blondie?" she snapped not liking what she actually had in mind Legolas sighed as he stood up and stood in front of Allessandra and said "I'll choose you-- but we don't have to get married we could just travel through middle Earth exploring things together and when people think we are together we could just part ways." Allessandra's heart beat accelerated at the thought of exploring middle earth once again. Her eyes showed excitement and her breathing became fast. 

"What say you?" he asked but instead of an answer he was met by a very happy Allessandra who jumped from where she sat and threw her arms around his neck squealing over and over again "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" as she giggled Legolas chuckled awkwardly. He rather choose Allessandra at least he could stand her presence unlike the others. 

As they both returned to the halls of Thranduil and Legolas announced he had already choose his bride to the servant and the other four eligible elleths were sad and disappointed because they knew the remaining eligible elleths had to sail to Valinor but Thranduil was happy that he has chosen someone who was different someone just like his wife, Legolas' mother. 

They both announced to the kingdom that they were to travel through middle earth before settling down and everybody supported their decision and as Legolas and Allessandra were off Legolas went off to Gondor while Allessandra went to Fangorn forest both went their separate ways, ten years have passed and Legolas heard nothing from his supposedly bride and like wise for Allessandra, but both didn't know that their paths will cross again.

Allessandra road her black horse into the gates of Gondor seeing the bright blue and white flags all around, a feast was to be celebrated and every human was invited Allessandra became good friends with Rohan and was also invited her brownish blonde hair flying over her shoulders and her green cloak flew behind her and her horse. She was late of course as always, she was galloping as fast as she could hoping King Eomer wasn't too mad at her. She was wearing black leggings, green and brown light armor and brown leather boots her hair was in knots and tangled due to her journey from Ered Luin. It took her two months of travel and she was late just because she couldn't find her other boot which the horse hid from her. 

As she rode fast on her horse she didn't notice the crowd of people in front of her which was King Eomer of Rohan, King Aragorn of Gonfor, Lady Arwen and so on. Everyone's eyes were on the horse that was making its way too fast towards them. Before Allessandra could stop her horse her horse's behind legs shot up sending her flying forward. Allessandra screamed as she was flying in the air but she landed on someone sending both of them harshly towards the ground. Her chest was against his. 

She opened her eyes and saw the familiar blue eyes "Legolas!" she exclaimed happily seeing him after ten years. The person or ticket for her stay longer in middle earth. "Allessandra?" his voice rang through the air. She quickly got up and helped Legolas stand up and she nodded towards the people especially the Kings apologizing for her clumsy entrance. The feast started and everyone was laughing, dancing and drinking. Allessandra and Legolas sat by the fire talking about each others adventures which Allessandra was enjoying and Legolas also told his about traveling to the glittering caves and Fangorn forest with his best friend Gimli. Legolas also introduced Allessandra to Gimli which turned out well since Allessandra was friends with Lord Dwalin in Ered Luin. 

Legolas noticed Allessandra's green eyes shined brighter than before her eyes were filled with so much love and devotion towards traveling and so much experience. Her smile was wider than before because she finally reached her dream. Allessandra also noticed Legolas' more built body, stronger than before. His piercing blue eyes twinkled each time he explained his adventures and his smile was contagious. Both talked, laughed and drunk all night sharing one thing they have in common, adventure. Of course Aragorn butted in and pulled them both to dance which Allessandra surprisingly was good since she has learned to dance from the Shire. 

After a week staying in Gondor and Allessandra spending most of her time with Legolas and Gimli she has grown fond of Legolas as Gimli would say 'I say you have a soft spot for the not so young elven prince lass' she also noticed that she would have these weird butterflies in her stomach and she would be more clumsy around him and blush every single time their eyes connected. She didn't reject or push away the idea of her falling for the Prince in fact it was totally fine with her because she has seen the true colors of the Eryn Lasgalen Prince, he was not some Prince who only cared about treasure, beauty and titles. He was just like her, an adventurer. 

She was just shy to confront her feelings. 

"Are you sure about this Gimli?" Allessandra asked as she was being pushed by the dwarf towards the court yard where Legolas was. "Aye! I am one hundred percent sure Lass, you must tell him how you feel before it's too late." he said his beard tickling her legs. As she arrived in the court yard she froze as she saw Legolas near the tree looking at the sun that was about to set. "It is now or never lass." Gimli said.

Allessandra straighten out her dark blue gown and slowly made her way towards the elven prince but as she opened her mouth to say something a human came behind Legolas hugging him from behind and both of them smiled at each other. Allessandra stopped dead in her tracks she could feel her heart slowly breaking. Gimli behind her did a face palm. Without even realizing a tear slid down Allessandra's face making one straight wet stain down her fair complexion. She tried backing away slowly but she clumsily stepped on the hems of her dress making her fall on her butt. "Oof!" The human and Legolas' head snapped towards her and as Allessandra lifted her eyes towards the couple she regretted even coming here because as she stared at them Legolas noticed the pain and hurt in her eyes. 

"Allessandra!" he called out but she quickly pushed herself off the ground and dashed away from their sight. 

Before Allessandra could run any further away from Legolas, Legolas quickly caught up to her "Allessandra! Stop!" he shouted but Allessandra ignored him and kept running before she knew it Legolas stopped her by wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her towards him. "Let me go!!" she squirmed in his arms trying to break free. "Tell me what is wrong Allessandra!" Legolas said concerned. Allessandra stopped squirming and she pushed Legolas away as she turned to face him, 

"I love you Legolas." she said. "I don't know how it came to be but after a week of getting to know you and years of knowing each other I fell for you. but I wish I didn't." "Why?" Legolas asked with no emotion showing on his face "Don't worry Legolas, You can go back to your human girl." she said Legolas then laughed at her and said "Silly Elleth, I am not with her. That's just a friend of mine and Aragorn's she is one of the youngest archers and besides she has a crush on Aragorn's first born." Allessandra stood there in front of Legolas. feeling like a total idiot.

Legolas laughed at her face. "You're so cute!" he said as he kissed the tip of her nose making her scarlet red. He laughed as he saw her blush and kissed her head then her cheek and then he came to her lips. He kissed her sweetly and tenderly being as gentle as possible. He then pulled away and whispered huskily "Besides I love you too. The way you smile, the way your eyes twinkle in the sun light, how you are clumsy even though you are an elf what is there not to love of you?" Legolas felt the sparks the day Allessandra landed on him at the feast like she just fell from the skies. He enjoyed every single moment with her and he won't waste anymore time in making her his.

"Are you ready to settle down?" Legolas asked as he brushed his thumb right above her ear making her shudder. "Yes." she whispered back not believing this is actually happening. Legolas then smiled at lifted her slightly off the ground spinning around. Legolas pulled Allessandra in a kiss full of passion and full of Love. Both not wanting the kiss to end.

Weeks later they were wedded in Eryn Lasgalen by none other than King Thranduil. Legolas looked lovingly into his bride's eyes while she also stared back with the same amount of love. Both smiled as they said their vows and finally ended with a passionate kiss. "I love you Allessandra of Rivendell." Legolas said in front of his kingdom. "I love you Prince Legolas... but I am now known as Allessandra wife of Legolas." Everyone celebrated that day especially Legolas and Allessandra who spent their time dancing and telling children their adventure stories. 

Even though they were married both didn't took over the rule of Eryn Lasgalen both traveled in search of a new kingdom. Eventually they both found an elf-colony in Ithilien, both helped restored the forest and both became King and Queen. Allessandra and Legolas both had twins and a younger son. 

this was not the end for Allessandra and Legolas

their adventure just begun.
