Hello my loves. The latter part of this one shot was inspired by a TV show. Writing this made for a much needed laugh for me and I hope you all get a nice laugh too. ❤️  

It's a beautiful Friday afternoon. The sky blazes blue and the sun is a celebration of yellow and bright. The trees rise to the occasion donning their very best verdant hues, and the flowers...a new masterpiece each day gazing upward at the ever present sky. Parked alongside of the area designated for parents to pick up their children from school sits Larry. His window is partially rolled down to catch a relaxing breeze of the soft wind. As it cascades through his soft fro he feels the wind also grace his scalp prompting him to close his eyes and relax. Moments later his eyes open at the sound of the blaring school bell and a smile graces his lips because any moment he and Laurent's five year old daughter, Gracie, will be coming out of the building with her class. He steps outside of the car and relaxes against the door then takes a look around at the other parents adorning smiles as they also can't wait to see their little ones. Larry is also smiling because his love has been away for a few days on business at an attorney's conference but will be home very soon so the inside of him can barely contain his excitement to see him. He then hears the double doors push open and several teachers are leading their classes out as it's customary for them to make sure the bus riders get on their buses ok and all of the car riders are picked up by their parents or caretakers. Larry sees Gracie's teacher and right behind her is their little love so his eyes light up. He immediately raises his arm and waves as he cheerfully calls for her. She hears him but doesn't see him so her adorable little eyes dart all around. Her teacher spots him then bends down and smiles as she points to where he is. Gracie smiles widely and beautifully as she takes off towards him. Her beautiful hair creates its own wind and she's running full speed until alas she's where he can pick her up. He does exactly that and a big hug is followed by a sweet kiss. He pulls her back then smiles as he looks in those beautiful, round eyes...

Larry: *smile* "I missed you baby". 

Gracie: *smile* "I missed you too papa"!

Larry: *smile* "Did you have a good day in school"?

Gracie: *smile* "Yeah! We had art class and I made something for my papas"!

Larry: *playful gasp* "You did"?

Gracie happily and excitedly nods then belts out that it's in her backpack so Larry gently places her on her feet then helps her take the backpack off so she can retrieve this masterpiece to show him. When he sees what it is his mouth drops. It's a clay copy of her tiny hand prints on a heart shaped molding. Tears could pour from him right now at such a sight and after a gentle clearing of his throat...

Larry: "This is so beautiful princess". 

Gracie: "Thank you papa", she replies sweetly. 

Larry: "Welcome my love, and thank you for this sweet and precious gift". 

Gracie: "Welcome", she replies softly. 

Larry: "You know your papa will love it just as much as I do". 

Gracie: *smile* "Is he still coming home today"?!

Larry: *smile* "Yes he is baby and he can't wait to see you". 

The glow in Gracie's eyes knowing she will see her other adoring papa soon couldn't be more beautiful. Larry leans forward to give her a soft kiss to her forehead then places he and Laurent's beautiful gift in her backpack then picks her up so they can leave. As he's securing her in her booster seat that sweet voice and those innocent eyes looks up at Larry as she asks, "can we make something for papa to have when he comes home"? Larry smiles at the sweet request and he also thought of something to do for his love while he also spends some father-daughter time with her so he sweetly replies, "of course we can princess". Happy with that answer Gracie smiles and relaxes in her seat while Larry gets in the car to head home...

Now home and Gracie changed out of her school clothes into clothing more suitable for baking she and Larry are having a blast in the kitchen preparing a delectable batch of chocolate cupcakes with salted caramel frosting. The aroma wafting through the home is nothing short of heavenly and to see Gracie smile as she helps her papa put one of his loves favorite treats together makes Larry's heart happy. They even sing a few of her favorite children's songs and while a batch is in the oven he squats down behind her as they can look through the oven to see them puff up as they bake. Gracie is amazed at the process but is careful to listen to her papa as he sweetly tells her to step away from the heat while he takes them out. Larry prepares a piping bag of the frosting and after the cupcakes cool he places his hand over hers to guide her in making the perfect swirls on top of each one. At one point he looked at the time to see how much was left before Laurent's highly anticipated arrival. He thought they would have them all frosted but he's having so much fun with their baby girl time gets ahead of him and now they're hearing that beautiful voice calling out, "I'm home". Larry helps her down and no sooner than her feet touch the floor she's excitedly taking off to greet him. He smiles as he follows behind and when he turns the corner she's already in Laurent's arms as they embrace. He just stands back at a distance and watches them with a warm smile on his face. Laurent then senses his presence and looks up at him. He smiles and winks with Larry's response is bringing his hand to his mouth to blow him a kiss then give him a wink right back. The next voice he hears is Gracie's as she happily belts out that she has something to show him which instantly excites him so he playfully gasps then replies that he can't wait to see it so he places her on her feet. When she takes off to her room their steps towards each other are at the same pace with a soft, endearing look. The instant they're close their lips connect for a passionate kiss. They pull away slowly as they simultaneously open their eyes. They don't have to utter a word as the intensity of the look speaks its own words. Missing each other goes without saying and there's also a look in their eyes that shows an angst of waiting for later when the days they've spent apart will be fulfilled with a deep expression of their love. Now they're hearing the adorable patter of Gracie's feet running to them then her voice calling out, "here it is" so Laurent smiles and squats down. She has the gift turned inward so he doesn't see it just yet...but when she turns it around his mouth drops just as Larry's did. Silence ensues and Gracie isn't quite sure what to make of his silence so in a soft voice she asks, "you like it papa"? After another second of stunned silence Laurent replies, "more than that princess. Papa loves it". That makes her so happy that her eyes are once again glowing. Laurent already has an idea of where he wants to keep it in he and Larry's bedroom. He looks at her and smiles then motions his head for her to come towards him. He sweetly thanks her for the gift then they give each other a big hug. He picks her up and as they look at each other...

Laurent: *smile* "Do I smell cupcakes"?

Gracie: *smile* "Yeah! We made them for you".

Laurent: *smile* "Wooow. I come home to your beautiful gift and you baked cupcakes for me too"?

Sweet little Gracie smiles widely and beautifully as she excitedly nods her head then she turns to ask Larry, "can papa have some cupcakes now" which Laurent playfully asks, "yeah can I"? Larry softly chuckles then replies, "yes but you can only have one so you don't spoil your dinner". In a playful, child-like voice Laurent replies, "oki" and Larry chuckles again as they all walk towards the kitchen where the platter of sweet goodness awaits. Larry hands one to his love and they watch him take a big bite then wait for the verdict. He smiles and as he winks at Gracie he tells her, "this is the best cupcake I've ever had". Larry and their little angel eventually join him in eating one which they enjoy as well then Gracie has the most adorable request...

Gracie: "Papa"?

Laurent: *smile* "Yes my love"?

Gracie: "Will you have a tea party with me"?

Laurent: *smile* "Of course bebe. I love your tea parties". 

Larry: *smile* "That will be fun princess and while you two are having your party I will make a special dinner for us". 

Gracie: *smile* "Oki but you can have tea too papa".

Larry: *smile* "I would love to baby". 

With that agreement in place Laurent sets a time for their party then gently puts Gracie down so she can take off for the couch to watch cartoons. He gives his love a peck on the lips before telling him that he's going to take his bags to their bedroom to unpack. He also takes a quick shower and since he has time to spare before the tea party he goes to the kitchen to help his love prep for dinner. Gracie is happily engrossed in her cartoons and in the kitchen Laurent can't keep his hands off of Larry. He's touching and tickling him which naturally prompts laughter from him which is what Laurent wanted to hear just as much as he wanted to see him smile. The time for the party approaches so Laurent wraps his arms around Larry's waist and gives him a kiss to his cheek before telling him that he's going to get ready and sweetly reminding him that he can join them anytime. Larry won't miss the chance but he also loves to see Laurent with their daughter because how much she adores him is always evident. After getting the garden salad perfectly dressed he stores the bowl in the fridge to keep it nice and crisp. The main dish goes in the oven so Larry washes his hands then heads for Gracie's room. He stops at the open doorway and has to contain his laughter seeing Laurent's tall frame in a little chair...but just as he expected he's also present with Gracie and adorably sipping on the make believe tea as they talk and as he makes her laugh. They feel Larry's presence and look up then Laurent smiles as he sweetly instructs him to come over and have a seat. Gracie picks up the toy tea pot to pour him a cup then after clanking their cups together they take a sip. Laurent and Gracie do most of the talking while Larry sits there to soak it all in as there couldn't be a more precious time between them. He eventually has to excuse himself to check on dinner but is sure to tell Gracie how much fun he had and that dinner should be ready soon. The chatter and laughter continue then she tells her papa that she now wants to play beauty parlor. Laurent agrees of course and she takes a towel to wrap around his shoulders before taking a bottle and pretending to spray hair product on it. She also emulates the sound. Moments go by and in the kitchen Larry is finishing up dinner. He's taking a piping hot side dish out of the oven when he hears, "tadaaa" so he turns around and right away he bursts into laughter when he sees that Gracie put three of her bows in his hair. Laurent is even modeling the hairdo and going into diva mode. Larry's belly is in a knot from laughing so hard and is near laughing tears but eventually the laughter settles and he sweetly tells his love...

Larry: *smile* "Baby you are such a good sport and a great papa to do that for her". 

Laurent: *smile* "Thank you bebe". 

Larry: *smile* "Welcome".

Laurent begins taking the bows out as he asks his love if he needs help. Larry sweetly replies that dinner is just about ready but he would appreciate Laurent setting the table. Afterwards he goes to get Gracie but before heading for the dining room they go to the bathroom to wash their hands. Once they arrive they notice the dishes of food are already placed on the table for a family style serving with Larry smiling as he waited for them. Dinner time consisted of continued laughter between the three of them, and afterward they enjoyed a few cupcakes for dessert. The remainder of the evening was mostly whatever fun thing Gracie wanted to do with her loving papas. When her bedtime approached she enjoyed a warm bubble bath and once she's in her pajamas she requested a bedtime story with the book of her choice. Laurent reads to her while his love in the kitchen finishing up some cleaning and storing the leftovers in the fridge. Finally done he looks around to make sure it's spotless then turns the light off and goes to make sure their home is secured. He walks by Gracie's room and smiles as he sees her resting her head on her papa's arm while her adorable eyes scan the book as he reads. Laurent was only away for a few days...but anytime away from him feels much longer. He's so happy he's home and thankful that he doesn't have to go away again anytime soon. Then an idea of how to help Laurent unwind after his trip comes to him so he quietly but swiftly steps away and heads for their bedroom. He's so anxious to do this for him that he's also swift in getting things set up. He lights a couple of candles and he gets a sense that Laurent is on his way so he takes off his shirt leaving him in only a pair of black sweats with a peak of the label of his underwear. His senses were right because outside of the door stands Laurent and as Larry watches the door knob turn his heart thumps in anticipation of not only his loves reaction to the setup but his plan for him. Laurent opens the door and a sweet smile forms when he sees him standing there but his eyes also quickly shift when he sees a massage table set up. He then looks back at Larry and before he can even say anything Larry smiles as he softly tells him ," I just wanted to do something for you to show you how happy I am you're home".  Laurent steps inside and knowing where this amazing surprise will lead them he's sure to lock the door. Unable to say a word because he's so moved by the sweet gesture he just steps forward to give him a soft kiss. Not even a second into it Larry raises his hands to cup his adoring husband's face as the kiss becomes deeper. They release with a soft pop and Larry softly instructs him to take his clothes off and lay on his stomach so he can get started. Laurent obliges and once he's comfortable Larry steps over and Laurent shivers at the touch of his hands. First Larry's strong hands rub his back all over then Laurent moans the instant he feels his fingers plunge into his flesh. He's quite possibly better than any professional...but as relaxing as it is the touch of his one and only is also getting him aroused. Once they're around his ankles he steps out of them then hooks his hands to each side of Laurent's boxers. Now refreshed and clothed they're about to change the sheets when they hear the sound of the doorbell. Since it's fairly late into the evening they don't know who this could be and they certainly wouldn't be expecting anyone this time of night. They decide to go to the front door together and when Laurent looks through the peephole he's surprised to see a police officer so he turns to his love and alerts him of it. Larry is just as confused and when Laurent opens the door Laurent's face also reads confusion...

Laurent: "Can I help you officer"?

Officer: "Yeah we got a call about a disturbance at this address". 

Laurent: "Um, nothing has happened here so I don't know why someone called you". 

Officer: "Well the call came from inside the home". 

Now Larry and Laurent are really confused because besides them there's only Gracie. Rendered speechless they both look at the officer and wait for details...

Officer: "The call came from a little girl who feared her papa was in trouble". 

He then pulls out a small writing pad and flips the pages...

Officer: "She said she heard yelling followed by, "I can't take it". 

Larry is instantly mortified and awkwardly smiles as he drops his head. Laurent makes a joke to the officer saying, "yep that's what he said" in which Larry playfully hits him. Now all Larry can do is turn around and walk away due to the embarrassment. Laurent watches him with a cheesy smile then turns to the officer to tell him, "everything is oki here". The officer looks around and in true, serious cop fashion replies, "it appears that it is. You both have a good evening". Laurent tells him to do the same then shuts the door and turns around to a still mortified Larry whose hands are covering his mouth in an "omg" manner. He then drops them to speak...

Larry: "Baby I thought she was asleep and wouldn't hear us. I didn't know I was so loud".  

Laurent: *smile* "It's oki bebe. Let's go and talk to her". 

Larry: *smile* "You go first. I'm too embarrassed". 

They walk up the stairs together and once they're in front of her door Larry just leans against the wall and whispers that he'll be waiting right here. Laurent leans over to give him a comforting kiss on the cheek then opens her door to take a peek inside. He thought she would still be in her bed, perhaps with the cover over her since she was frightened and didn't know what was going on, but she isn't there. He does sense that she's in the room and has an idea of where she's hiding so he steps inside and sweetly calls out, "princess"? But, she doesn't answer. He sees her favorite stuffed animal on her bed so he picks it up and asks, "Mr. Bear? Have you seen my beautiful daughter" thinking that will prompt her to come out of hiding. Still nothing but knowing she's under the bed he gets down on the floor. She's on her belly with her chin resting on her folded arms. She doesn't appear too nervous but the first question she asks is, "is papa oki"? That sweet voice makes his heart drop...

Laurent: "Papa is fine bebe". 

Gracie: "Am I in trouble", she asks innocently. 

Laurent: "No princess. You're not in trouble. You thought your papa was in danger so you called for help just like we taught you". 

Gracie: "But why was papa yelling oh yes oh yes oh yes at first"?

Laurent: *smile* "Because he was thankful". 

Gracie: "For what", she asks softly. 

*brief pause*

Laurent: "Um, well". *scratches head* "Because we were uh, playing a game that he was winning". 

Gracie: "Can I play that game too"?

Laurent: "Oh no princess. It's a game for grown ups and you have about forty more years before you can play it". 

Gracie: "Oki papa". 

Laurent: *smile* "Oki". *pause* "So are you ready to come from under here"?

Gracie: "Yes papa". 

Laurent helps her out then back into bed and as he's pulling the cover over he tells her that he wants her to see that her papa is just fine so he calls for him. Larry had been outside the door laughing silently but hysterically. He isn't happy about their little girl being frightened but it was hilarious to hear Laurent explain it to her the way he did. When he hears Laurent calling for him he quickly straightens up and walks inside...

Larry: *smile* "Hi princess". 

Gracie: *smile* "Hi papa"!

Laurent: *smile* "See bebe. Papa's oki". *pause* "How about another bedtime story but this time both of us will read it to you"? 

Gracie: *smile* "Yeah"! 

Larry grabs a book from her shelf and they each take a side of the bed then alternate pages to read in the perfect animated voices. It doesn't take long for her to fall asleep so Larry closes the book and they quietly stand up, give her a soft kiss on her forehead then leave her to rest. Now in the hallway they lovingly look into each other's eyes until Larry notices Laurent's bulge and looks down then slowly looks back up...

Larry: *smile* "I see something else is still awake". 

Laurent: *smile* "He never sleeps when you're close", he whispers. 

Larry: *blush* "But...we just took a shower baby". 

Laurent: *smile* "Then I guess we'll have to shower again". 

Larry smiles then Laurent grabs his hand to lead them to the bedroom. Once they're nude and on the bed with Laurent hovered over him...

Laurent: *smile* "You think you can keep those beautiful moans down this time"?

Larry: *smile* "Yes", he whispers. 

Laurent gives him the softest peck on the lips then pushes himself inside his love and for however long their hearts desire they proceed to make love all over again...
