Your POV

*you jumped out of the way of Raven's sword then dodged Summer's attack then you kick Tai away and move out of Qrows shot* Tai "HOW HAVEN'T WE HIT HIM YET?!?!"

Qrow "IDK JUST KEEP TRYING HE CAN'T KEEP DODGING FOREVER!" *you kick a shot from Qrow into Tai lowering his aura down to the red as you back flip several times out of the way of Raven's and Summer's timed attacks as you draw your weapon of a BO Staff and push down on it and off the ground to avoid a narrow attack and press a button on it changing it into two Katanas and slice a shot from Qrow in half and the second blade to cross blades with raven panting lightly and use the blade that cut the shot and catch Summer's attack and make it to where Summer and Raven accidentally attack each other as you change one into half a BO staff and block Tai's attack barely in time and use the blade as a deflector for another shot from Qrow hitting Raven in the gut with the deflected shot then Kick Tai away and somersault out of Summer's attack range as the time finally runs out ringing loudly as Ozpin calls the match* Ozpin "Match over the winner is Y/N in avoiding and fighting Team STRQ back for one hour straight and without use of his Semblance any complaints?" *no one dared raise their hand after seeing you one against four win by dodging and timing your counter attacks just right and it took the last five minutes to even make you draw your weapons and use them calmly to block reflect cause self conflict and cut shots* Ozpin "good well then you're all dismissed to your dorms be safe on your way back." *he walks out of the arena as you sigh tired*

You "That was not easy to do"

Qrow "You're telling us we had to fight you and try to win against you"

Tai "In my opinion it looked unfair then we had forgotten that your unmatched in one v.s. multiple enemies and you just proved that in such little time that the rest of the time seemed to just fly by"

Raven "let's be honest he did earn the title king of the ring by second year and were in fourth year now, so he's probably had many challenges this being probably one of many"

Summer "Y/N you were so cool you kept going wah woosh pow" *Raven quickly covers Summer's mouth much to her disarray as You chuckle lightly*

You "I've just trained until bleeding then trained to where puking blood was a part of my time limit till I collapse it was a difficult match considering I couldn't use my semblance but worth it considering the training I received by fighting a team of four alone" *they smiled in their own ways at the comment as the announcer comes on*

Ozpin "Y/N to my office please."

You "Well I'll be back in a bit" *you rushed to Ozpin's office and enter after knocking and being allowed in*

You "Ozpin you called?"

Ozpin "Yes I have a mission for you to go on normally it would take two average teams or one powerful team but you seem to be able to hold your own against one of the most powerful teams in Beacon so you may go on your own so for now do you accept?"

You "Yes I accept the mission where do I go and what is it I must do?"

Ozpin "Your mission is to go to Mount Gleam and attempt to control the Grimm population to the best of your abilities and try to limit your Semblance use we both know how random it's after effects are the fact it's yet to happen either is cumbersome to know as well especially considering the last use of it had healed such drastic wounds and it showed no signs of it's after effects especially for such a long period of time"

You "understood I'll keep it at a minimum and I'll try to thin the numbers as much as possible hopefully it will be enough to at least kill a good hundred or so without injury otherwise it's going to be an issue too many things though knowing how many there are if I don't return in a month.... Consider sending a recon team to retrieve my mask, my cape, and my weapon fore I'll most likely be gone for good"

Ozpin "Understood Y/N if we have too where will they go?"

You "My weapon put it in my grave or wherever you see it fits my Mask give it to Raven and Qrow my Cape Summer and Tai they'll need the most closure considering Ozpin we both there all I have left as you know considering we both know where my mother stands..." *he cringes for you slightly*

Ozpin "Y/N you mustn't blame yourself for Salem becoming who she is yo-"

You "Ozpin we both know as well as she does it's not worth the time to argue she chose she used she killed I fought I am cursed now with the semblance Soul's Sacrifice..."

Ozpin "Yes I know that well and all it does at the same time" *you nod and turn to walk out not knowing that team STRQ had listened from the shadows as you have a feeling you won't be able to keep your promise with Summer and Raven about going to the festival next month as you grab what you need your red cape and your white and red mask your weapon and some rations and go to the bullhead and your flown away watching the school vanish* You "..... I have a feeling that was the last I'll be able to see Ozpin, Summer, Raven, Qrow, and Tai"

Raven's POV

*we walked in to Ozpin's office as Summer took lead* Summer "Ozpin what is Y/N semblance or Soul's Sacrifice?"

Ozpin "Normally I wouldn't say but in this case this might be your only Chance to learn Y/N's semblance or Soul's Sacrifice is when Y/N sacrifices his aura or soul for a short period for immense strength, speed, and regenerative capabilities making him very powerful but as you Qrow know High rewards comes from a high risk and for him in his case say his arm is blown off it will regrow good as new but after he stops use of his semblance at some random point of time he'll feel all the pain from that battle he's accumulated all in one go, so he'd feel the pain of losing an arm but in this case he's had many battles and lost many parts of him but is whole as a person yet the risk is it's been 5 years and the pain hasn't surfaced yet meaning at any second he might get the pain, or he might not get it for years more but it will always come that's why he calls it a curse more than a semblance and for now... it's impossible to know when it may next appear it's random but when it does we both fear one thing...." *were looking at him questioningly*

Ozpin ".... Without a shadow of doubt in our minds the pain will be too great to live through he'll most likely die from the pain and shock sense it comes all at once, so he most likely feels his time is limited he quite literally is always at risk of dying no matter where he goes."

~Timeskip one month

*me and the rest of our team was in our dorm getting ready to rest from the mission we went on before we heard a knock and Tai and Qrow go to answer it and some military officials seem to be at the door with grim expressions, but we can't hear them, and they give them two items and bow leaving as Qrow and Tai seem shocked to what they were given but return to us and I see Y/N's Mask and my eyes widen as I grab it gently tears threatening to fall as I put it on gently recognizing Y/N scent and I cry silently in the mask it block the sight of my tears perfectly and I look at Summer who is holding his red cape face buried in it crying fairly loudly as I shut my eyes not wanting to believe it but the evidence is all here and I cry harder but refuse to make a noise realizing tomorrow was our date with him*

Ozpin's POV

I'm looking at Y/N BO staff and my hands covering my mouth having had to hold it in but I saw him as my own son and now he's truly gone never to return and it was because of his cursed semblance he had done all he could, but he lost his life too it as we feared and now I must announce his death to the students as well as bury his body in an appropriate area especially considering how many he truly killed Ozpin "You said only a hundred or so Y/N yet you didn't stop until you had killed one thousand Grimm of varying types alone and paid the ultimate price for it... you did well Y/N you can finally rest I know you must be tired..." *I hold back the tears knowing there will be many more losses to fight back from and few victories*

~present Day Qrow's POV~

Qrow "Hey bud sorry it's been so long got caught up in work and all that I'm sure Summer has kept you company Raven is missing still, but she most likely hasn't lost your mask considering the new flowers but any way I have a lot to tell you Y/N but I'm sure you have time."
