What I Said

Hi, hi! I have a new one-shot for you all to enjoy. It's a Snoocat one and I think it's the second one that I've ever done. I love Seungwoo and Wooseok and I know we missed out on so many moments now that X1 has disbanded, but I hope this story can keep this ship alive. I know it's an underrated ship, but you all know about my affinity for these types of ships. I made this idea a long time ago but I'm really excited to write it because I think it's just sort of cute and sweet and captures Snoocat's relationship. It's loosely inspired by Victon's song What I Said, if you couldn't tell by the title. That's pretty much all I have to say, so I hope that you enjoy it!

Seungwoo has this special ability. He didn't know much about it, in terms of where it comes from or why he has it. All he knows is how to use it and control it, having tested it out more than enough times. And, of course, the fact that he has to be careful whenever he does. After all, his power is strong. Seungwoo has the special ability to make things come true. All he has to do is say it and it will happen. With that type of power, Seungwoo could do anything he wished, but he was raised as a normal child. He was taught to be kind and respectful. He would never use his abilities against anyone. That would be wrong. And, to quote Uncle Ben, with great power comes great responsibility. Seungwoo swore to follow in Spiderman's footsteps and to only use his powers for good. Even though he was young and didn't know much, he knew that he had to. For everyone's sake. Still, he was a child who wanted to show off. Did anyone really expect him to keep it a secret? "Stop lying," Seungyoun scoffs.

"I'm not!" Seungwoo exclaims.

"My eomma says lying is bad," Byungchan murmurs, "If you lie...you bad person...you not bad person, hyung. Wight?"

"Of course not!" Seungwoo huffs, "I'm telling truth!!!"

"Show us then," Seungsik states in a firm tone.

"I will," Seungwoo pouts, stomping forward. He looks around and his eyes light up when he sees a squirrel standing by a tree. He turns to look back at his friends and points the furry creature out to them. "Squirrel come here!" Seungwoo exclaims. The bushy tailed animal scampers over without a second hesitation and stops right in front of Seungwoo, staring up at him with curious eyes. "Woah! Byungchan says in awe.

"I told you...." Seungwoo states proudly.

"It only came for your cookie..." Seungyoun mutters, pointing to Seungwoo's pocket where a half-eaten cookie sticks out. Seungsik snickers instantly and Byungchan slowly joins in. Seungwoo frowns and stomps angrily, not liking that his friends are teasing him. "No, it's not! Watch! Watch! Squirrel jump!" Seungwoo shrieks even louder. The rodent states back at him with a blank expression, not moving or heeding his words. His friends start to giggle even louder and Seungwoo can feel his face begin to heat up. His eyes begin to water and his hands clench into fists, "I said jump! Jump! Jump! Jump!!!!!" The squirrel doesn't heed to words, rather running away and leaving Seungwoo behind with a red face and his disbelieving friends. "Stoopid squirrel..." Seungwoo mutters as he tilts his head to the floor, refusing to look back at his friends. It isn't until he hears the sounds of high-pitched squeals and shouts does he lift his head. He gasps in shock when he sees a bunch of squirrels emerging from the trees. They all bounce up and down like they're bunny rabbits, swarming around the area and slowly overtaking the playground. "Woah!!!" The other kids all exclaim, watching the squirrels with awe.

"Kids, please stay back..." One of the teachers calls out, her eyes wide and panicked. Of course, the children don't listen, all rushing forward to surround the jumping squirrels. The teachers do their best to keep their students far away from the oddly acting creatures, but their efforts are for null as they also can't keep their eyes off the unexplainable spectacle. The children all laugh and giggle as they point at the squirrels, enjoying the show. "It's so cool, hyungs!" Byungchan exclaims.

"Yeah!" Seungyoun agrees, "Why they doing this?"

"It's cause of me!" Seungwoo states with a grin, "I told them to jump!" Honestly, he told one squirrel to jump. He doesn't really understand how his powers were able to work on this many, but it doesn't seem to be an issue. If anything, this will definitely convince his friends that he has abilities. Seungwoo feels his chest fill with pride and he stands with rolled back shoulders as he speaks, "I told you I have superpowers!"

"Liar!" Seungsik says, poking his arm, "You didn't do it..."

"But, I did!!!!" Seungwoo whines, "You saw me!"

"It's just cowinsadance!" Seungyoun calls out.

"What that?" Byungchan questions with wide eyes.

"It mean it fake," Seungsik says.

"It's not fake!!!" Seungwoo pouts as his eyes start to water. His friends don't seem to notice though, their attentions having shifted back to watching the squirrels. Seungwoo sighs and slowly walks away from the group. He lowers into a squat in front of the swing set, placing his head into his hands. He huffs as he watches his fellow classmates enjoy the squirrels that he made jump around, still bitter that his friends don't even have a little bit of faith in him. "I believe you," A boy with tousled black hair and a foxlike face says to him from where he sits on one of the swings.

Seungwoo slowly twists to look back at the boy with wide eyes, "Really?"

"Yup! I think it's really cool that you have special powers," The boy giggles, "You're like a superhero!"

Seungwoo blushes, "T-thanks....what's your name?"

"Kim Wooseok," The boy answers, "What's yours?"

"I'm Seungwoo..." He replies, "Han Seungwoo."

———————————

It was around middle school that the novelty of Seungwoo's powers died down. Yes, they may be pretty cool and could be really helpful, but Seungwoo never used them for his benefit. And he had no plans to. It made no sense to keep using them. And so, he just went on with life as if he never had any special abilities to begin with. It was easier this way. He didn't like having to worry about possibly hurting someone or doing something unethical. It was better to just pretend they've never existed. And Seungwoo has stuck by that. More strong-willed than his younger self, he didn't use his abilities throughout middle school and into high school. Of course, he hasn't forgotten they exist, always muttering under his breath about how easy things would be if he just willed it into existence. But, that was nothing more than just talk. Seungwoo knows that if he really wants something to happen, it can't be magical powers that do it for him. Still, there are times that he does regret it.

Like now, when Seungwoo sits in the ever so loud cafeteria of his high school, watching as a beautiful brunette with fair features chat with his friends from across the room. Now, Seungwoo would never use his powers to convince someone else to love him. That would be wrong in so many regards, but he would definitely use his abilities to force his own shy ass to at least interact with the boy. At least then Wooseok would know of his existence, instead of him just pining after him pathetically. "Hey, Seungwoo hyung," Byungchan says, "What are you daydreaming about?" The eldest doesn't seem to pay much attention to his friends, his attention still laser focused on the boy who makes his heart skip a beat. "Oooo, is it some girl?" Seungyoun teases.

"I think you mean a boy..." Seungsik says with a smirk, "You've been staring at Kim Wooseok for a while now." Seungwoo's face turns red, finally snapping out of his stupor and quickly diverting his gaze. His friends start to cackle and push at his shoulders, finding his embarrassment amusing. "Really, hyung? Kim Wooseok?" Byungchan questions, "You like him?"

"So what if I do..." Seungwoo mutters, poking at his food with his utensils, "Is it a crime to have a crush?"

"Of course not. It's just..." Seungyoun says, "He's sort of out of your league..."

"Harsh," Seungwoo states.

"He's right, you know..." Seungsik says, "I mean Kim Wooseok was always handsome in middle school, but he's like drop dead gorgeous now."

"And what am I then?" Seungwoo asks, "An ugly piece of shit?"

"You're just stuck in that awkward phase, hyung," Byungchan says, "Don't worry, you'll grow out of it."

"Aish..." Seungwoo sighs, "Isn't it a bit messed up that my dongseong is saying that I look like I still haven't hit freaking puberty?" Seungyoun and Seungsik snicker at those words as Seungwoo shakes his head. His friend's words have a good amount of truth to them. Wooseok and himself would never work. They lived in two different worlds and as much as Seungwoo wished he could breach it by using his power, he knew it would never be that easy. If he ever wants a chance with Kim Wooseok, he needs to figure it out himself. "You know we're joking, right Woo?" Seungsik says, "We just don't want you to get hurt."

"Yeah, yeah," Seungwoo lets out a breath, "It would be nice if you had some faith in me though..."

"Grow a couple of inches and maybe we will," Seungyoun says simply, earning himself a chunk of salad chucked at his head.

---------

At the end of the day, Seungwoo walks out of the school building and down the sidewalk towards where he parked his car. As he does, he spots a familiar face pacing back and forth in front of the school gates. "Yeah...yeah...but you said you would be here," Wooseok sighs into his phone, "I know...yeah...okay...fine...whatever..." His crush let's his head fall as he slips his phone into his pocket and lowers to the ground. He runs his hands through his hair and purses his lips together. His expression remains blank, but his eyes shine with stress and anxiety.

Seungwoo limbs lock as he stares at him. His mind racing as he goes back and forth between whether or not he should talk to him. He bounces on the balls of his feet as his stomach churns with nervousness. "Don't think of him as your crush. He's just a guy...a classmate that looks like he needs help," Seungwoo murmurs under his breath, "Yeah...yeah...you can do this." Seungwoo takes a deep breath before walking over to Wooseok. He keeps his distance, not wanting to make the younger uncomfortable, but remains close enough to talk to him. "Hey, are you okay?" Seungwoo asks in a soft tone.

Wooseok turns his head to the side to look at Seungwoo and let's put a sigh, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just...am kind of stranded now."

"How come?" Seungwoo questions.

"My parents said they would swing by to pick me up during their lunch break and drop me off at home," Wooseok explains, "Well, they just called to let me know that they are really busy, and are planning on working through their lunch break. So, I'm stuck here. I don't have money for the bus fare and I'm too far from the school to walk..."

"I'm so sorry. If you want I...I could drop you off at home," Seungwoo says.

Wooseok looks at him in surprise, "R-really? I wouldn't want to be a bother..."

"Where do you live?" Seungwoo inquires. Wooseok answers without a second hesitation, providing Seungwoo with an address that is nowhere near his own destination. Nonetheless, he can't stop himself from lying to help Wooseok. "That's close to where I live," Seungwoo says, "I can drop you off before heading home. That is if you're okay with that."

"Yeah, that would be great," Wooseok says.

"Cool, my car's just across the street," Seungwoo says as he stretches his hand out to Wooseok. The brunette looks at his hand with shining eyes before reaching out to interlock their fingers. Seungwoo can feel his chest flutter and his hand tingle with energy as he tugs his crush to his feet. He purses his lips together and prays his flushed face is not visible. He glances at their clasped hands for a second more before slowly letting go and gesturing for Wooseok to follow him.

---------

Seungwoo shifts a bit in his seat awkwardly. They've only been driving for about five minutes now, but the silence in the car is painful. Wooseok's gaze is locked outside the window, watching as everything blurs by. Seungwoo glances over at him, wondering if he should strike up a conversation or just let the ride continue in silence. He wouldn't even know what to say to Wooseok. He would probably just embarrass himself. It's better to stay silent. But, what would Wooseok think of him if he didn't speak to him at all? He wouldn't make a memorable impression. He would just be that kid that gave him a ride once but had no personality. Screw it. It's better to be remembered as embarrassing than not to be remembered at all. "So...do you know Mr. Son?" Seungwoo questions.

"The physics teacher?" Wooseok responds, turning away from the window to look at Seungwoo, "Yeah, I have him this semester. He gave us this huge paper that he wants by the end of the week. I haven't even started it..."

"He's nuts, isn't he?" Seungwoo says, "Why the hell would we need to write an essay for science class?"

"Right!?" Wooseok exclaims, "It's like he wants us to suffer."

"I remember having him two years ago," Seungwoo says, "I still have nightmares about his class. His final is the worst!"

"Great!" Wooseok says sarcastically, "I have something to look forward to."

"Wanna know something about Mr. Son that made going to class just a tad bit more bearable?" Seungwoo says with a smile creeping onto his face.

"Sure..." Wooseok replies in a curious tone.

"He has an online dating profile and all of his photos are of him in lab coats," Seungwoo snickers.

"No way," Wooseok says, giggling.

"Way," Seungwoo says, "We searched him up when we were in his class and found him instantly. Apparently, he's had an account for like ten years. I don't think he's had much luck. I guess people just aren't that into high school teachers, who are looking for someone they have gravitational attraction with..." Wooseok starts laughing, his eyes lighting up and his lips curling into a grin. His expression is infectious and somehow makes him appear even more beautiful than before. Seungwoo feels his heart race in his chest as he watches his crush, a smile of his own blooming onto his face.

---------

"Here we are," Seungwoo says as he comes to a stop in front of a medium-sized house.

"Thank you so much for dropping me off," Wooseok says in a sincere tone as he unbuckles his seat belt and climbs out of the car, "I really, really appreciate it."

"It was no problem," Seungwoo replies, "Good luck with your paper."

"Thanks," Wooseok says as he walks towards the sidewalk. He smiles at Seungwoo and waves before turning around and running up to his front door. "I'll see you around, Han Seungwoo..." Wooseok calls out as he slips through the front gates leading to his home. Seungwoo's eyes widen at the sound of his name and a shiver travels up his spine, in complete disbelief that his crush knows who he is. He stares at Wooseok's house and lets out a sigh, a dopey smile appearing on his face as he replays his crush's words in his mind, loving the way his name sounded coming from his lips.

———————————

"Chug! Chug! Chug!" Seungwoo's friends shout loudly as he downs a glass of soju mixed with beer. Seungyoun whoops as Byungchan claps his hands. Seungsik chuckles as he flips the pieces of meat on the grill using tongs. The group is gathered around a circular table in a barbecue restaurant, empty glasses of soju and beer cans surrounding them. Seungwoo sits in the center with a flimsy cone birthday hat propped on his head and his cheeks flushed red. His blood buzzes within his veins and the world seems to be bouncing in tune to the pop song playing over the speakers. "How ya feeling birthday boy!?" Seungyoun exclaims.

"Great!" Seungwoo says as he holds his thumb up and lets a wide grin appear on his face.

Seungsik, the designated driver for the night, shakes his head, "You got him way too drunk..."

"Come on, hyung," Byungchan whines, "It's the one day in the entire year that Seungwoo hyung lets loose. It's not that big of a deal..."

"You're only saying that because you have an ulterior motive," Seungsik states.

Byungchan shrugs, "How else are we supposed to get any blackmail on hyung?"

"You sound like Seungyoun when you talk like that," Seungsik says, "What is it with you two and your manipulative methods..."

"He does, doesn't he?" Seungyoun says happily, "I'm so proud." He throws his arm around the youngest and pulls him into a tight grip. Byungchan groans and tries to push his over-the-top hyung away, an action that brings Seungwoo lots of joy. The birthday boy lets out a loud laugh that shakes his entire body, tilting back in his seat dangerously. Seungsik's eyes widen and he quickly places his arm behind his friend's chair, steadying him. "I think he's had enough now," Seungsik states in a firm tone.

"You're right," Seungyoun announces in a dramatic drawl, "Now...it's time to find out all the juicy details of Seungwoo hyung's love life!"

"What love life?" Byungchan murmurs.

"I heard that," Seungwoo grumbles, "I'm drunk, Byungchan-ah...but not that drunk." Byungchan blinks a couple of times and clears his throat, praying silently that his hyung won't remember his comment tomorrow morning. "He's right though, Woo," Seungyoun says, "I mean...you've been out of the dating game for a while. What gives? Is there no one who catches your fancy?"

"There is someone..." Seungwoo answers.

"Oh, come-wait! Did you just say there's someone?" Seungyoun says. Seungwoo nods his head and hums under his breath, a dopey smile appearing on his face. "Who is it?" Seungsik asks, his curiosity now peaked.

"I thought you found our methods manipulative," Byungchan teases.

"Shut up," Seungsik says, "I am just concerned for my longtime friend and his decisions when it comes to dating..."

"Shhh!" Seungyoun exclaims, "Seungwoo was just about to tell us who the guy is." Byungchan and Seungsik immediately fall silent before turning to look at the drunken oldest. Seungwoo looks back at them, his head swaying back and forth as he opens his mouth and says the name he never would have uttered in front of his friends if alcohol wasn't in his veins, "Kim Wooseok."

"What!?" His friends all shriek at the same time.

"Kim Wooseok?" Byungchan questions, "You mean from high school!?"

"Yeah..." Seungwoo replies calmly.

"You've got to be kidding," Seungyoun says, "It's been years since you've last seen him. As far as I know, he goes to an entirely different college. How can you have a crush on someone you barely knew from high school?!"

"Didn't you used to have a thing for him back then?" Seungsik muses, "I seem to remember you always staring at him during lunch." Seungwoo feels his face heat up again, this time unsure if it's from the embarrassment or the excessive amount of alcohol. "Oh my gosh!" Byungchan cries, "You've been pining for him for all these years!

"Dude!" Seungyoun exclaims, "What the hell?"

"What?" Seungwoo shrugs, "Is there something wrong with that?"

"Uh...yeah!" Seungyoun huffs.

"First, it was cause he was way out of my league..." Seungwoo scoffs, "What is it now?"

"Maybe, the fact that you haven't seen him for ages!" Byungchan says, "I mean it's been what...five years now. It's not like you keep in contact with him. You barely even spoke to him when we were in high school!" Seungwoo frowns, not enjoying the fact that his friends, once again, don't seem to be taking his emotions towards Wooseok seriously. He knows that it is a bit ridiculous that he's had a thing for this one boy for this long, but he's never been surer about anything in his entire life. "Listen, Seungwoo," Seungsik says, "It's not that we don't think you stand a chance..."

"Hyung's right," Seungyoun pipes up, "You're a looker, Woo. You definitely measure up to Wooseok's league now..."

"Thanks..." Seungwoo says in a dry tone.

"What Seungyoun means is that you are a great guy, Seungwoo. We all know that Wooseok would be so lucky to have you," Seungsik explains, "But, the chances of you and him getting together is sort of slim."

"The chances of you ever meeting him again is slim," Byungchan states.

Seungwoo shakes his head and crosses his arms over his chest, "We will meet again. I'm sure of it. And when we do, we're going to hit it off and we're going to end up together." The three share a knowing look with one another before turning their attention to their friend, flashing him a sympathetic expression. "I think it's sweet that you have that romantic drama sort of mindset, hyung," Seungyoun says, "But, it's not very realistic."

"We just don't want you to get hurt, hyung," Byungchan says, "When things don't turn out the way you think they will..."

Seungwoo frowns and his eyes narrow as he mutters to himself, "It's going to happen. I know it. Everything I say comes true...it'll happen." His friends shake their heads at his unintelligible mumblings, worried about their friend. "I told you not to give him too much to drink," Seungsik grumbles, elbowing Seungyoun in the ribs.

"Ow!" Seungyoun exclaims, rubbing his sides.

Seungwoo tunes out their bickering, too focused on the image of Wooseok within his head, "It's going to happen..."

———————————

Seungwoo swivels his glass in a circle, watching as the strong liquor sloshes around the sides. He lets out a sigh as he stares at the lamp hanging from above the small booth he sits at. He's had a particularly long day at work today and decided to treat himself to a glass of whiskey in hopes of it erasing his pain. So far, it wasn't doing the work. He lets out a sigh and lets his back fall against the cushions of the booth. He lets his eyes fall shut and the sounds of jazz music fill his mind. He remains like this, completely still until the sound of the bell hanging above the door rings loudly. Seungwoo slowly cracks open his eyes to see a familiar black haired young man rush inside. His head whips back and forth before locking with Seungwoo. He walks over to him with quick steps and slides into the booth beside him. "W-wooseok..." Seungwoo stutters as his crush presses his side against his own.

"Hi, Seungwoo-ssi..." Wooseok murmurs, "Long time no see..."

"W-what are you doing?" Seungwoo questions.

"Could you please play along?" Wooseok asks. Seungwoo's eyebrows furrow in confusion, but Wooseok doesn't get the chance to explain as the door to the bar swings open again to reveal a young man with brown hair and a birthmark on his cheek. He scans the entire area, forcing Wooseok to press even closer against Seungwoo, almost as if he thinks he could disappear if he leans close enough. Seungwoo frowns as he feels Wooseok's beating heart and his harsh breathing against his skin. Who in the world is this man? "Wooseok!" The man exclaims in a tone that bothers Seungwoo even more. As the stranger walks over, Seungwoo wraps his arms around his crush, squeezing his shoulder to help him relax. Wooseok peaks up at him and flashes him a thankful look, taking a deep breath and sitting up a little. "Hey..." Wooseok says in a dry tone as he addresses the man, "Hajun-ah..."

"What are you doing in a place like this?" Hajun questions with a concerned expression, "And who in the world is this?"

"I'm on a date, Hajun-ah," Wooseok says, leaning closer to Seungwoo.

"What?!" Hajun exclaims and starts to look at Seungwoo with narrowed eyes. Seungwoo looks back at him with a steely look and brings Wooseok closer to him, holding him protectively. "No...no way...why would you go on a date?" Hajun states in an offended tone.

"Why wouldn't he go on a date?" Seungwoo asks.

"Cause he has me!" Hajun huffs.

"And who are you?" Seungwoo glares.

"I could ask you the same thing," Hajun spats.

"He's my boyfriend," Wooseok blurts out quickly.

"Your fucking what!? Hajun blurts out in shock.

"My boyfriend," Wooseok repeats, "Seungwoo hyung...this is my classmate, Hajun. He...uh...he's been looking out for me during class..." Seungwoo purses his lips together at those words, taking note of the stiffness in his crush's tone. He can tell how uncomfortable this Hajun makes him. How long has he been putting up with this creep? Did he do anything to Wooseok? Is he okay? Seungwoo can't help but worry for the young man sitting beside him, but right now he has more to worry about. He needs to get this asshole away from Wooseok as soon as possible. "It's nice to meet you, Hajun-ssi," Seungwoo says politely, "I'm Han Seungwoo. I appreciate you looking out for Wooseokie." Hajun glares at him for a minute, his hands clenched into fists. Seungwoo looks back at him, trying to keep his expression amicable even though anger is bubbling inside of his gut. "Nice to meet you too," Hajun whispers after he finishes scanning Seungwoo up and down, "Not to be judgmental or anything, but this isn't the place you take someone like Wooseok to."

"Why?" Seungwoo asks.

"It's a bar," Hajun states.

"So? It's a nice place. I'm friends with the owner and Wooseok likes this place," Seungwoo says, "Right, Seokie?"

"Yeah, this is where hyung and I made it official," Wooseok says with a smile.

Hajun grits his teeth, "That's...sweet. But, it is still a bar. All types of people come in here. You could get hurt here, Wooseokie..."

"Don't worry about that," Seungwoo says, his hand clenching into a fist when he hears Hajun's affectionate name for his crush, "I'm always here to protect him. If anyone even looks at him the wrong way, I'll hurt them..."

"How many times have I told you, Woo..." Wooseok sighs, "I don't need you to protect me."

"I know, love," Seungwoo says, "But, can you blame me for being protective? I just don't want you to get hurt."

"I guess not...I'm the same way," Wooseok grins, "We all know how clumsy you are..."

Seungwoo groans, "If it weren't for you, my entire body would be covered in bruises..."

"I know..." Wooseok says in a sappy tone as he rubs his hand along Seungwoo's arm.

"How come you've never told me about a boyfriend?" Hajun questions suddenly, reminding the two of his presence. Seungwoo and Wooseok share a quick glance before turning to look at the man, who still stands in front of them. "You never asked," Wooseok replies simply.

"Do I need to ask for you to tell me things?" Hajun asks, "I thought we were friends..."

"I never thought of us as that close," Wooseok admits, having gained some courage to say something like this with Seungwoo by his side. Hajun's face turns red at those words and Seungwoo does his best to hide the smirk appearing on his face. "W-wooseok...come on," Hajun stutters, "You're just saying those things..." Wooseok purses his lips together and leans closer to Seungwoo, glancing up at him and silently asking him to put all this to an end. Seungwoo discreetly nods his head and locks eyes with Hajun, whose lips are curled into a perpetual frown. "If Wooseok says you aren't that close, then you aren't," Seungwoo says simply, "Maybe, you should just drop it and leave us be. You're ruining our night..."

"Who the hell even are you!? Wooseok's boyfriend? Please...I don't trust you. You're not who you say you are," Hajun huffs, "I bet you've been bothering Wooseok. I bet you're blackmailing him or something. Forcing him to do things..."

"I think you are the one bothering him," Seungwoo states, pissed at the fact that this man would accuse him of hurting Wooseok.

"Please!" Hajun scoffs, "My Wooseok-"

"Your Wooseok?" Seungwoo cuts him off, his eyes narrowing into a steely glare.

"My friend...Wooseok," Hajun coughs out quickly. Seungwoo's eyes narrow and his hands clench into a tight fist. He starts to rise out of his seat, but is stopped when Wooseok wraps his hand around his clenched fingers. Seungwoo looks at Wooseok, who shakes his head slightly. Seungwoo lets out a breath and purses his lips together, pushing his anger to the side and relaxing a bit. He flashes Wooseok a tight-lipped smile, a tad bit ashamed for letting his anger get the better of him. He's never been one for a fistfight. He didn't want to change that. He'd rather just handle this situation with words, something that's always been his expertise.

"Listen...Hajun-ssi," Seungwoo says in tone filled with venom, "I'm not a violent guy, but when you accuse me of hurting the man I love more than anything...when you act like a complete creep to the man I love more than anything...I can get pretty violent. So...back off and leave Wooseok alone. If I hear or see you anywhere near my boyfriend ever again, I swear that you won't be walking on those two legs of yours anytime soon." Hajun stiffens for a second as he tentatively looks at Seungwoo, whose face has become completely serious and unmoving. A frightening image that makes Hajun take a tentative step back. He robotically opens his mouth to say something, but stops not a second later. He slowly walks out of the bar, glancing back to stare at the two sitting on the booth, but not uttering a word. As soon as he exits the building and fades from view, Wooseok lets out a sigh of relief. Seungwoo pulls his arm away and shifts away, putting some distance between the two of them. "Thank you," Wooseok says, "Hajun has been bothering me for a while now. He's got it into his head that I'm some princess that he needs to protect..."

"It's no problem. I'm glad that I could be of some help. That guy sure is something else. He didn't hurt you, did he?" Seungwoo questions.

Wooseok shakes his head, "Thankfully, no."

"Thank goodness," Seungwoo murmurs.

"Yeah, I wouldn't have doubted he would have tried something soon though," Wooseok says, "But after what you said to him, I'm sure he'll leave me alone now."

"About that...I'm sorry if I overstepped a bit," Seungwoo says in a sheepish tone, "Some of the things I said..."

"Was perfect!" Wooseok grins, "You really sold the whole we're dating thing. If you didn't say what you did, Hajun wouldn't have been convinced. "

Seungwoo lets out a breath and nods, "Good. I didn't want to offend you in any way."

"Don't worry, Seungwoo-ssi. You didn't overstep or anything like that," Wooseok says, "I knew you wouldn't. You're a good person. That's why when I saw you...I came over and asked you to help me out. I trust you...even though we haven't really talked much or seen each other recently or anything like that..."

"Call me hyung," Seungwoo says.

"Are you sure?" Wooseok questions, "I...I only called you that cause of Hajun..."

"Now, you can call me it cause we're close," Seungwoo says, "We are old classmates after all. And you did say that you trust me..."

"Okay, hyung," Wooseok says with a smile, "Seungwoo hyung." Seungwoo can't help but feel his heart sing within his chest when he hears Wooseok say his name again. It may just be his favorite thing in the world to hear. The entire world is spinning and Seungwoo is unsure if it's the alcohol or the euphoric feeling that Wooseok gives him. It's been ages since he's last seen the young man. This all feels like some sort of fever dream. As much as he would always say that he would meet his crush again, he knew deep down that the chances were close to zero percent. He had no hope of ever really seeing his high school crush ever again, and had settled with the fact that he would be hopelessly pining after someone from another lifetime. He didn't think that he would run into him again here out of all places. Or be put into a scenario like this. It's crazy. It's something straight out of a fanfiction. Seungwoo looks at Wooseok and flashes him a smile, he doubts the rest of his night will play out like the fantastical story in his head. But, until his dream is shattered, he's going to enjoy this fleeting moment with his first love. "It's nice seeing you again, Wooseok-ah" Seungwoo says.

"You too," Wooseok murmurs. They fall silent after that, avoiding each other's gaze as they sit at the table awkwardly. "So...um...do you have any plans tonight?" Seungwoo asks.

Wooseok shakes his head, "No, not really. I was thinking of sticking around here for a bit. If that's alright with you."

"Of course, it is!" Seungwoo says a bit too quickly. He turns red at his sudden outburst, which makes Wooseok giggle. Seungwoo scratches the back of his neck nervously and clears his throat. "Um...are you sure you want to spend your night with me?" Seungwoo questions, "I'm sure you have better things to do..."

"I don't think there's anything better than right here at this table, sitting across from you," Wooseok replies in a sure tone. He meets Seungwoo's eye with a soft smile and slightly pink cheeks. Seungwoo can feel his heart warm as he looks back at his crush with a smile of his own.

The two spend the rest of the night chatting in that booth, catching up on all the years they've missed in each other's lives. They talk about the future and their likes and dislikes. As if they were on a date and didn't just meet up by chance. By the end of the night, both young men's cheeks hurt from all the smiling and laughing they've done. Their eyes both shine like stars as they look at one another and their cheeks are both flushed pink. When they are kicked out of the bar at closing time, the two innocently ask the same question, at the same time, "Do you want to go out with me?"

———————————

"Sooooooo...when's this infamous boyfriend of yours showing up?" Seungyoun questions from where he is sprawled out on the couch.

"He should be here in the next five minutes or so..." Seungwoo answers from the kitchen, where he's filling a large bowl with popcorn.

"You said that five minutes ago, hyung," Byungchan says in a sing-song tone.

"Well, he got stuck in traffic coming from class," Seungwoo explains.

"Sounds like an excuse to me," Seungyoun teases, "Maybe, this boyfriend doesn't exist..."

"Come on, guys..." Seungsik says, "What are the chances of him making up a boyfriend?"

"I say pretty high!" Byungchan exclaims. Seungwoo rolls his eyes at his friends' words, knowing that they won't believe he's actually dating someone until they actually see the person face to face. That's why after a couple months of being official, he's decided to finally introduce his boyfriend to his friends.

Their Friday movie nights have become sort of a tradition amongst them, since they were in high school. It was their way of relaxing after a taxing week. It's always just been a thing the four of them have done, so when Seungwoo said he invited his boyfriend to join them, it was a pretty big deal. And even though, Seungwoo's friends tease him endlessly about him, they're curiosity is peaked. Something that Seungwoo knows and is causing him even more stress.

Seungwoo takes a deep breath as he grabs the bowl of popcorn and brings it out to the living room where his friends are sprawled out on the couch. He places it on the table between them before going to take a seat in the huge loveseat. Before he can sit though, the doorbell rings and Seungwoo's heart begins to race. His friends all look at him expectantly as he walks over to the front door. He unlocks it with ease before pulling it open to reveal none other than Kim Wooseok. His hair is a tousled mess and he is garbed in a t-shirt with a long coat on top of it. "Hi, Snoo..." Wooseok murmurs, shivering slightly as the wind blows.

"Come inside, Seokie," Seungwoo says, reaching to grab his boyfriend's hand and tug him inside. Wooseok hums as he lets himself be dragged into the warmth of the apartment. He easily latches onto the older's waist and squeezes him, burying his face into his chest. "Long day?" Seungwoo questions.

Wooseok nods, "Can I just dropout and spend all my time with you?"

"As much as I would love that, I-" Seungwoo starts, only to be cut off by his friend's loud voice.

"Yah! Han Seungwoo! Stop flirting with your boyfriend in the corner and introduce us to him!" Seungyoun exclaims. Seungwoo scoffs and rolls his eyes as Wooseok giggles slightly. "I'm starting to regret suggesting that I introduce you to my crazy friends," Seungwoo huffs.

"Hey, it's only fair," Wooseok says, "You met Jinhyuk and Yohan last week."

"Yeah, yeah, but they're not Seungyoun," Seungwoo deadpans. Wooseok grins and gives his boyfriend another quick squeeze before slipping out of his hold. He kicks off his shoes before linking his hands with Seungwoo, who leads him away from the door and towards the living room. "Finally!" Seungyoun says, "Let's see who this mystery-"

"Kim Wooseok!!!" Seungsik shrieks.

"H-hi," Wooseok stutters as he is greeted with the wide eyes and shocked expressions of Seungwoo's friends.

"This is some joke, right?!" Byungchan murmurs in a stunned tone, "There's no way...."

"Guys, will you calm down. Please," Seungwoo sighs, "You're freaking him out. Don't make me regret introducing you to him even more than I already am." His friends immediately close their mouths and do their best to maintain a neutral expression, keeping their two senses just barely contained. "Thank you," Seungwoo says, "Everyone...this is Kim Wooseok. My boyfriend. We all used to go to the same high school together, so you may recognize him. Woseokie...this is everyone."

"It's nice to officially meet you all," Wooseok greets with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you too, Wooseok-ssi," Seungsik says amicably.

"Just call me, Wooseok," The black-haired man says, "You're all Snoo hyung's friends after all..."

"Alrighty then, it's nice to meet you, Wooseok," Seungsik says again, "We're happy to have you join us tonight."

"Thanks for having me," Wooseok says, "I know this is usually a big thing for you guys, so I really appreciate it."

"Of course," Byungchan grins, "You're Seungwoo's boyfriend...and any friend of his is a friend of ours."

"That's really kind of you," Wooseok says. Seungyoun begins to open his mouth again, clearly unable to keep a cap on his curiosity for a second longer. Thankfully, Seungwoo notices right away and is able to direct the conversation. "Hey, Seokie...I bought some chicken feet this afternoon," Seungwoo says, "It's in the kitchen on the countertop."

"Really?" Wooseok exclaims with a grin, "Thank you!!!" He squeezes their interlocked hands before pressing a peck to his cheek. Seungwoo chuckles as Wooseok wanders off towards the kitchen, finding his boyfriend's love with chicken feet adorable. "It might be a bit cold!" Seungwoo calls out, "You may want to heat it up!"

"Kay!!!!" Wooseok replies. Seungwoo smiles before turning his head and glancing at his friends, who all stare at him like he has five heads. "What?" Seungwoo questions.

"What do you think?" Seungyoun hisses, "Kim Wooseok! You're dating Kim freaking Wooseok! How the frick did that happen?"

Seungwoo shrugs, "We met up by chance in a bar and started talking. We hit it off and decided to go on a date. And the rest was pretty much history..."

"That's...crazy..." Byungchan murmurs.

"I almost don't believe it," Seungsik says.

"Me either!" Seungyoun exclaims, "Are you sure you're not pulling our legs? Are you actually dating Kim Wooseok? Or did you just hire some look alike?"

Seungwoo huffs and glares at his friend, "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard."

"It's a valid comment," Seungyoun states.

Seungsik shakes his head, "Not really, Seungyoun-ah. I mean we all know how much of a crush Seungwoo has on Wooseok. He would never go as far as to find someone else that looks just like him in hopes of replacing the real one."

"True..." Seungyoun mutters.

Seungwoo sighs, "You're ridiculous, Seungyoun."

"Hey, it's just hard to believe that you met him again after all this time," Seungyoun says in a defensive tone, "I'm just surprised is all..."

"Actually, if you think about it, hyung...it makes a lot of sense," Byungchan pipes up, "Seungwoo always said that him and Wooseok would meet up again."

"And he did always say he had that ability to make things come true..." Seungsik continues.

"Oh my gosh!" Seungyoun exclaims, "Of course! Magical superpowers are the only explanation! Everything you say really does come true, hyung!!!"

Seungwoo blinks a couple of times in surprise, not expecting for his friends to bring up the abilities he never uses, "I...you guys remember my powers?"

"Of course, we do," Byungchan says, "It was the most ridiculous thing we've ever heard."

"That's something that you never forget," Seungsik states.

"But, you guys all said you thought it was fake," Seungwoo says.

"Yeah, well, we did," Seungyoun admits, "But, after seeing Kim Wooseok walk in here...I think I speak for all of us when we say we believe in your ability now."

"But, I didn't use my powers..." Seungwoo murmurs, "I haven't used them since I was a kid..."

"What?" Byungchan questions, "There's no way...how else could you explain you and Wooseok then?" Seungwoo starts to open his mouth to say something, but is stopped when Wooseok cuts him off. His head peaking around the corner as he addresses the group. "It has nothing to do with any powers or magic. It's just because my Seungwoo is a sweet puppy that anyone can fall in love with," Wooseok says in a soft tone. Seungwoo glances over at Wooseok, who flashes him a sweet look filled with affection. Seungwoo melts a bit and feels his face start to heat up, wondering how he got so lucky and about how to kick his friends' asses as they start teasing him with endless whooping cheers.

The end! What did you think? I know it plays on a lot of cliches, but I think it's kinda nice to have a Snoocat story that does that. There's not enough content for this ship, so us Snoocat lovers have to make our own stories. I couldn't find one that satisfied my craving for like a Seungwoo crushing on Wooseok story, so I made my own. I hope that some other shipper out there is happy that this fic now exists. I also hope that you all enjoy this one-shot as well. It was loads of fun to write and even could have more than one part. If you would be interested in that, let me know. Also, please show some support to this one-shot book by voting, commenting, following me, adding this story to your library and checking out my other one-shot book, Kpop One-shots. Thank you so much again for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day!
