Ainsley was born to a family who owned a bakery. Her family wasn't poor but wasn't wealth either. They made it through just fine. Though they would get the help of her uncle sometimes.

Her uncle was a pirate, as he would go out sailing with his crew and once a month would come to visit. He would always bring Ainsley items from his adventures. Mostly fruit from islands he visit. He would always give them to Ainsley and Her younger sister.

One day pirates came to their island. The Pirates killed anyone that would get in their way. They weren't going to stop till they got what they wanted. Her parents made her hide with her little sister in the cellar. Ainsley held her eight month old sister close to her.

They were in that cellar for what seemed to be hours until the cellar door opened. Her uncle came entering in. Without another word He took them both out of the cellar attempting to block both their view. Though, Ainsley saw everything. Their home was destroyed and they're parents were no where to be seen.

Their uncle quickly took them under his wing as he refused for them to be on their own. He didn't want the two to be separated after that. That very year, her uncle taught Ainsley how to defend herself and Belle.

One day her uncle had came back with a fruit of some sort. He didn't want her to eat it due to it could cause some problems. Though that never really stopped Ainsley. She wanted to try that fruit she never seen before. After all, it was either her or Belle that would eat it.

After eating the Devil fruit her uncle would come back with food noticing the fruit was gone. When she goes to look at him he quickly covered her eyes. Yelling at her and lecturing her, he had to wrap bandages around her eyes.

He had explained everything to her and the reason on why he didn't want her to eat it. Now she wasn't able to see without hurting someone.

Growing up her uncle, he had caused many of fights with other pirates. Ainsley didn't see that the pirates life was going to be good for Belle. So she left one night with Belle, she left a message of why she done what she had done before sailing off.

A year passed having Ainsley to be seventeen. As she was getting supplies for her and Belle she rain into a group of people. Most of them found out about her devil fruit ability as they used her to mostly eliminate their targets. They bribed her about Belle before she gave in. She became the groups assassin in order of Belle's safety.

A year later she over heard one of the groups conversation, they were planning to never keep their side of the deal. Hearing this Ainsley grabbed Belle and Ran away from the group. She refused to be used for someone's bidding.  Having interacted with that group had changed her personality. She barely had any hope left until Belle helped her.
