When one era ends, another one begins. Witness the execution of the Pirate King, Gold Roger as he brought forth the reason for all reasons: The Existence of The One Piece.

As we will experience our view as one of the crowd who saw Roger's time as the King ends with his life.

This is a world like no other, one brimming with mystery and teeming with danger, filled with hundreds of islands strewn across vast seas.

And throughout these seas are those who live according to their rules, who seek a life of freedom and adventure.

This is a world of pirates!

| 22 years ago. |

Man (off-screen): "Piracy is a scourge upon this world. For too long, villains and miscreants have sown havoc across our seas."

Loguetown shown its wonderous view whereas the capital was filled with people: marines and pirates alike.

Man (continues): "But the Marines, on behalf of your World Government, strive to keep you safe and protected."

It shows a man in chains as he walks towards the platform while the marine officer continues.

Man: "And today, we've made a great stride in that effort. Gold Roger, the so-called King of the Pirates, has been captured. His reign of terror ends this day. Peace shall be restored. Let this be a message to break the spirit of anyone foolish enough to follow in his footsteps."

The man in chains revealed to be Gold Roger as mentioned and his execution has come as he was guided upward to the platform where he meets two executioners and the Marine who announced his time of execution.

Marine: "Gold Roger, you have been sentenced to death for the crimes of Piracy, thievery, and conspiracy against the World Govenment. Do you have any last words?"

Roger: "Yeah. *jokes* Would you take these off? Starting to itch."

Some people heard Roger's joke and laughs at it while the Marine has had enough.

Marine: "I warned you. You brought this upon yourself."

Roger: "That I did, Vice-admiral. Now I bringing it to one and all."

A marine whom Roger addressed him by a title Vice-admiral, is very confused by the pirate's choice of words by its meaning. He shook it off and turned away from his prisoner and continued his speech.

Vice-admiral: "By the authority of the World Govenment..."

Before the Vice-admiral spoke his next words, two executioners forced Roger to kneel as they pointed their spears onto his back.

Vice-admiral: "I declare your life forfeit..."

He then was interrupted by some pirates in the crowd through a simple question.

Unknown pirate #1: "Pirate King, where is your treasure?"

Unknown pirate #2: "Tell us where you hid it!"

They spoke with such demands and clamouring as Roger quietly chuckles and the Vice-admiral looked slightly feared at they might do. Then Roger laughs loudly for everyone to hear as they quickly shutting up their voices, wanting to know the Pirate King's answer.

Roger: "You want to know where my treasure is? I'll tell you. Wealth. Fame. Power. I found everything the world has to offer."

As he spoke, a few familiar pirates came to view. The first one was a young man with a long spiky hair, a nearly formed beard and the eyes that resembles a hawk, wears a red rose coat with a pink rose design on his left side. The another is a red-haired teenager, who wore a simple stained white shirt and a yellow straw hat with a red ribbon.

Roger (continues): "Free yourselves. Take to the seas! My treasure is yours to find."

Everyone in the crowd cheered loudly as they were giving a chance to take the opportunity giving by the King while the Vice-admiral looked completely in fear of what happened if such an opportunity like this will cause. To cease the further celebrations, the Vice-admiral skipped his speech and nodded at the executioners to proceed.

The executioners then stabbed the former Pirate King in the back for everyone to see which give shock to the crowd who witnessed it. They stabbed him even deeper in which he felt pain even further, causing the crowd to create a riot as they try to escape the guards to their ships. Many tried to push them back, giving the others time to retreat as the Marines fought back as much as they can.

The Vice-admiral looked at the crowd as the majority of the pirates have successfully escaped from the Marines' crutches. The executioners pulled their spears back to their side as pirates continued their escape from the executioner's stand in the middle of the town. The Vice-admiral mentally deciding what to do as Roger smiled as he laughed before death came for him.

Many pirate ships were starting to set their sails as many have started their hunt the Pirate King's treasure.

Gold Roger's final words changed the world forever.

A new age was born, the Great Pirate Era, setting off a race across the seas to find the Pirate King's hidden treasure,

the One Piece.
