You and Luffy were dating, at least that's what he shouted out the windows when you let him take you on a date.

"GUMMY BEAR!" Luffy shouted.

You turned to him while putting away your stuff inside your bag, unfortunately, he somehow came up with that nickname for you.

~~Flash back~~

"GUMMY BEAR!" Luffy barged in.

You jumped at the loud interruption in the library, you turned to the source only to get a big breath taking hug.

"I missed you gummy..." Luffy said, rubbing his cheek on your neck.

After a couple minutes, he noticed you weren't breathing, and started to panic, until he realized he had to loosen his grip.

After getting your breath, you turned to him, with the face of someone who just saw their life flash before their eyes.

"Are you okay gummy?" Lufy as asked, inching closer to your face.

"Why do you call me gummy bear?" You asked.

"Because, your soft, sweet and small like a gummy bear!" Luffy exclaimed inside the library.

~~End of Flash back~~

"Calm down Luffy I'm almost done." You said, putting the rest of your stuff in your bag.

"But gummy-"

You glared at him for less than a second, but he already knew what it meant, so he took a seat and crossed his arms, waiting for you.

After about two minutes, you were finished.

"I'm done Luffy. We can leave now." You said, turning to him, but somehow he was already clinging to you.

You sighed, trying to move with Luffy glued to you.

After a couple of blocks with Luffy on you, he finally let go.

"Hey gummy lets get to my house I'm hungry!" He said, instantly running off, leaving you behind.

Meanwhile at Luffys house...

Luffy suddenly barged in, breaking the door and rushing to the fridge, passing through his brothers Ace and Sabo.

"So how was school?" Sabo asked, sitting on the sofa and reading a book.

"Shummy shame shome wish shme shoday." Luffy said, stuffing as much food in his mouth as he could (Gummy came home with me today).

"And where is (Y/N)? I didn't see her come in." Ace asked, while he was cooking.

"Shoh shit." (Oh shit) Luffy muttered.

Meanwhile you were slowly walking to his house, in the heat, usually you had your frog umbrella, but Luffy loved it so much you didn't have the heart to ask it back.

A while later, he showed up and personally carried you to his house, because "I want gummy and food." At least you weren't the food.

Once arriving at the house, you crashed on the sofa, groaning.

"Hi (Y/N), how was school?" Sabo asked beside you.

"Not too bad. How are you and Koala?" You asked.

"We're good."

"GUMMY COME MEET THE OLD MAN!" Luffy shouted from somewhere in the house.

"W-What?! He's already back?!" You exclaimed, slightly terrified.

You see, although the two of you have been dating for quite the while, you never really managed to meet the good old grandpa Garp, mostly because of his job.

You slowly went in the direction of his voice, a cold feeling in your stomach as all the heat went to your cheeks.

What if he doesn't like me?

What if he kicks me out?

When you finally arrived to where he was, you swallowed, although your mouth was so dry there wasn't anything to swallow.

"Ah, so you're gummy." He said in stern tone.

"T-That's me sir." You squeaked. 

Every part of you was shaking, some areas not even you knew could shake. 

"Do you do drugs?" He asked.

"No sir."

He looked a little confused. 

"Alcohol?" He questioned.

"Nope."

"Compulsive liar?" He asked. 

"No."

"Steal?" He looked more confused than before.

"No."

"Pervert?"

"No."

"Then what the hell are you doing with this bad influence? Have you seen his friends?"He exclaimed.

His statement shocked you.

"Ah well, you see, Luffy has the habit of making weird friendships, his idol is a handicapped alcoholic." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Don't say that about Shanks!" Luffy pouted.

"But it's true! Have you ever seen the man sober?! It's like he was born drunk!" Garp exclaimed.

That was slightly relieving.

"But either way, welcome to the family Gummy!" He said, giving you a bone crushing bear hug.

You could tell they were related by the way your bones crushed with a hug.

Legend says after mentioning the redheaded handicapped alcoholic, he will suddenly appear.

That legend is very true.

"WHERE'S GUMMY?!" Shanks exclaimed, suddenly showing up out of nowhere with beer.

"WHO IS THIS GUY?" You thought as your entire body froze and your face contorted expressing confusion.

"SHANKS!" Luffy exclaimed, running to embrace the booze smelling man.

"IS THIS REALLY SHANKS?!"

"I TOLD YOU HE WAS AN ALCOHOLIC!" You jumped at the sound of Garp, as your mind was distracted with confusion.

"IM/HE'S NOT AN ALCOHOLIC" Shanks and Luffy exclaimed in unison, as you were busy living up to your name, a silhouette of gelatin.

"I CAN STOP WHENEVER I WANT!" Shanks exclaimed.

"YEAH!" Luffy agreed.

"THEN STOP RIGHT NOW!" Garp demanded.

"I don't want to." Shanks said in a mocking tone, as he took another swig from his beer bottle.

Sabo and Ace had already stopped what they were doing, as the charade of random fights was much more entertaining, although, it was time to stop them before your poor little soul couldn't handle it.

"Alright  guys, maybe we can do something else now. Who wants to play scrabble?" Sabo suggested, for your sake.

You felt a tinge of relief go through your body, maybe it would finally be more calming.

"LUFFY YOU CAN'T MAKE UP A WORD JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW ANY!" Garp yelled, hitting his head.

"WELL SCOOPOLES ISN'T A REAL WORD!" Luffy cried as his hands covered his bump.

"IT SAYS SCRUPULOUS!- Garp hit his head again- HAS SCHOOL TAUGHT YOU NOTHING?!" Garp yelled.

"ACE WENT TO SCHOOL AND THE ONLY WORDS HE'S WRITTEN MEANS PENIS!" Luffy exclaimed.

"AT LEAST IT'S NOT JUST 'BOOZE' OVER AND OVER AGAIN!" Ace yelled while punching the table.

"HEY I WROTE BOOBIES TOO!" Shanks defended, also punching the table to make a point, but instead punched the game board, messing up your first word of the game.

"SHANKS YOU MESSED UP ALL THE LETTERS!" Garp yelled.

As they continued to fight, Sabo intently watching before he had to break it up, you were scared, one could say terrified.

"Is this what it's like all the time?" You thought, as your anxiety only grew with time, your hands were shaky and you somewhat wanted to cry.

Soon enough, it got a little physical, to physical and before you could even process it the table was in half.

"We just bought this table." Sabo sighed, facepalming.

"Sorry~" The rest said in unison.

"Why are they so strong?!" You mentally cried, while externally your expression was wide eyed and unreadable.

"(Y/N) is there any activity you have in mind?" The more rational Sabo asked.

Your mind went blank.

"Did he just talk to me?" You froze.

Everyone waited for an answer.

You fell to the ground.

"EHHH GUMMY!" They all exclaimed, kneeling to your aid.

"Yes (Y/N), play dead, maybe they will leave you alone." You thought, your unreadable expression remained as they shook you.

"Hey! Gummy! Hey! Wake up!" Luffy said, shaking you back and forth.

"Maybe she needs a true loves kiss!" Shanks exclaimed.

"Yeah!" Luffy said.

"Guys are you sure this is the most logical thing to do?" Sabo asked as quickly as he was ignored.

"Luffy you might turn into your true frog form!" Garp teased.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE?!" You cried internally.

"Kiss her Luffy!" Shanks motivated.

"Shanks just because your soap ended doesn't mean you have to push your love drama on to other people." Ace said, turning to shanks.

"Shut up! You probably have an evil twin brother somewhere!" Shanks retorted.

Luffy leaned in to kiss you while shanks attempted to prove his twin theory, as his lips touched yours, you melted into his arms.

"GUYS IT DIDNT WORK I THINK I KILLED HER!" Luffy cried, as he held your very limp body, as it flew side to side in his embrace.

Ah yes, nothing like spending quality time with your boyfriends family.
