Separate Paths: Smoker X!pirate Reader 

"I want to become a marine!" the girl yelled, "Leave me alone!"
But the boy continued to throw rocks and all sorts of hard objects at this (h/c) haired poor girl. Rocks to potted plants, you name it. The poor girl ran down the streets to a part of a little forest.
The (h/c) hair girl sat under a tree and hugged her knees. Crying from the pain that she got from the rocks and stones.
"Hey, girl!" a boy said.

Grey hair was all (y/n) could see through the very blurry eyes.
"You came all the way here to treat me badly?" the girl cried.
"Oi, I only came to help you train like a marine with me. I know you're the daughter of the Whitebeard Pirates but now you're not," he said with his hands in the air surrendering.
"But will marine's let me in?"

(y/n) and Smoker was standing in front of the pirate king execution. (y/n) gripped the end of smokers sleeve while hiding behind Smoker's back. 

"Smoky... Is that going to be my future?" (y/n) asked as her (h/c) bangs covered her eyes. 
"No. You will be a marine. I will be too." Smoker replied.

(y/n) and Smoker was walking down the corridor of the Marine Base. (y/n) smiled and smoker had his usual frown. 
"Hey, Smokey! You are the best Nakama I ever had! I hope we get to execute a pirate together. Capture one and teach them a lesson!" (y/n) smiled. 
"Aye aye, Captain. But a weakling like you can't get a hand even on a 50 Berri pirate." Smoker joked. 
"Hey!"
Smoker got hit by a Haki powered rod. 
"I'm just joking. I love it when you smile." Smoker said. 
"Thank you. I love you too." (y/n) replied.
"Me too."
After 5 seconds of silence, both of them turned pink.

'Wholey crap. I just confessed without myself knowing.' (y/n) panicked. 
'Shit. She likes me back' Smoker panicked.
"I'm here, have this." Smoker said out of nowhere.
Smoker gave (y/n) a bracelet that had a photo of him and (y/n) smiling when they were children.
"Thanks."
The walk to the Sengoku's office was a very awkward one.

"You can not be a marine!" Sengoku shouted.
"I may be the daughter of a Pirate but I ain't one of them!" (y/n) yelled back with tears in her eyes.
"You can not!"
(y/n) suddenly slapped Sengoku out of now where.
"I may be a blood of a cold heart but not one of the cold heart! If that means to leave a marine to be a marine SO BE IT!" she shouted.
Smoker was behind the door listening to the conversation.  

______________Now...

(y/n) wore a hat with (f/c) flower on it. Standing on a boat that faces a marine boat. A particular marine boat with the familiar companion standing at the very front.
"Long time no see, puffy face." (y/n) yelled.
"Smoker! That is the New to be Shichibukai. The warrior of New World, also known as the (f/c) Satan (y/n) (l/n)." an officer yelled.
"I know..." he puffed, "Why?"
At the moment, nothing mattered around both of the pirates and the marine. All they could see and the matter was the other person. The sadness and love in (y/n)'s (e/c) eyes and smoker's brown hazel eye's the sadness, love and loneliness.

Both of them were standing and look at each other. Their faith was separated. Their faith was chosen to be separated. Separate paths for two of the souls that love each other.
