[Tesoro]
(Requested)
(If anything is weird, I didn't want to rewatch the movie for any information.)
(I also apologize that I rushed through this one entirely too much and unnecessarily. I tried anyways.)
Gild Tesoro, owner of Gran Tesoro, his power rivals those of the celestial dragons. Money ruled over almost any standing organisation and he, he ruled over money itself. Gold this and gold that, he had what seemed to be the entire world's gold. He did not but, he did in fact have most of it.
The days went on as you stayed on Gran Tesoro. You went there for a good time, to have fun and live a little. You gambled, wasted money, all in all a good time. As the days went by you grew sick and tired of seeing the shiny colour of gold, it drove you mad in a better way then most considering most would have been mad with wealth.
In your room, you wanted to scream ever so loudly into a pillow.
Even the pillows had gold trim. The sheets, they were gold. The room was white, as a plus side, though everything was lined with that now horrid colour.
Outside, on the balcony, you wanted to get fresh air. In a sense, you didn't. An eerie feeling staid. You swore, with every fibre of your being, even the air itself was contaminated with gold as the yellow lights of the city echoed weightlessly in it.
You wanted to leave this place, yet, something just shouted no and you were caught in the middle of that dear conflict. The screams that shouted to leave and the whispering pleas that begged to stay.
That thing that urged you to stay, it also seemed to be able to drag you places seeing as you went back to casino you wished to never see again...
In the casino there was a creature of sorts. A weird one that led and took you to the owner of the retched place. You didn't deny and you couldn't tell quite why.
He said that Tesoro himself asked you to visit him.
"I see." A red haired woman looked up and down you, inspecting you for some reason. "Good luck in there." She grinned as she passed by with a pat on the shoulder. There was something weird about the lady, mysterious even to say. You couldn't think about it now though, even if she did seem highly suspicious much like every other employee in Gran Tesoro.
Behind the doors and there he was, the man ultimately named Gild Tesoro. He sat, almost kingly, shrouded by a few skimpy dressed and full bodied females.
"Ahh so you made it after all." He grinned in is oddly tasted suit. "Ladies, give us some space." He ushered them away, leaving only you to be shrouded in his prescience. Feeling quite small like an ant to an elephant mentally.
"So, a weird little thing asked me to come here." Intentionally you thought you were crazy for agreeing to go see Tesoro as requested. You then realized that ignoring the man would perhaps bring trouble, and likely a lot of it.
"I guess you could call him that." He noted as he leaned forward and started to close his hands together. "You're to work here. I'm tired of seeing the same faces."
"Against my will?" You questioned, sort of annoyed.
"What's wrong with money?"
"Gold makes me want to vomit." Your vision shifted to the many gold things in the room such as the gold speckles that covered the floor.
"I heard you're a pirate. You're head is worth a lot and you're a devil fruit user, one that could work nicely here in the casino."
Gold encased your lower limbs, and at that moment you knew, you couldn't deny the offer. You'd never see another day alive otherwise.
After his many threats that day you got to know Tesoro a bit more. He was heartless and a money lover, both obvious from a first glance. There seems to be something there though, something else and you'd probably never figure out what it was.
The room was empty, other then Tesoro himself and your own self. Tesoro hummed something, even occasionally singing words softly. The song seemed melancholic. It was sad, slow, but filled with emotion. You were requested to stay by his side at that moment, you didn't know why but kept silent. Ever since you started working there, you've felt trapped. You've even felt as if you belonged as a slave, which almost seemed true just one treated much better. Though your eyes felt lifeless, you started to smile at his humming song that filled the room.
He soon stopped humming, grabbing your attention to look towards him. His eyes seemed slightly widened, but his face spoke of a sadness much like the hummed song.
"Is something wrong?" You asked, seemingly surprised by the stare he gave.
To him, right then, his gold seemed powerless. It was as if he found something much better at that moment, even if it was for the slightest and slimmest moment.
"Your smile, it's just like hers."
