(Omega)"Today, we got a special guest! UnusualSamurai, who so kindly gave me an appearance in his story, Son of Whitebeard. It was only fair that I'd do the same."

It was the dead of night when the crew made it to the the island where this doctor was apparently living on. Barry was on the lower floor, with bandages around his torso. All the Shadow Pirates were crying their eyes out, hugging him at once. Obviously, this only made him feel worse.

(Shadow Pirate 1)"Please don't die!"

(Shadow Pirate 2)"You're like, our biggest brother!"

(Shadow Pirate 3)"I swear to God, I'll kill you if you die!"

(Barry)"Guys, I appreciate your concern, but...CAN I HAVE SOME PERSONAL SPACE!?!"

They took the hint, and cowered in fear on the other side of the room. Harry came down with an orange.

(Barry)"What's that for?"

(Harry)"Orange!" *Hands it to Barry*

(Barry)"Uh...thank you?"

Before they left, they took 4 orange trees so that they wouldn't worry about fruits. Harry remembered back when Yosaku drank the lime juice, so he thought that giving Barry an orange would make him heal faster.

After a while, they landed on the strange island. There were skulls on top of wooden poles along the beach, striking fear into the crew.

(Terry)"A-Are you sure we're at the right place? What kind of doctor puts severed heads around his home?!"

(Mawgona)"He has to be here, I can feel it. I'll take Barry to the doctor myself, you all stay on the ship, we don't know what else might be here."

(Barry)"Hurry up then...I'm starting to feel light-headed..."

Throwing the imp over his shoulder, Mawgona entered the jungle. There was an unsettling atmosphere for the next 10 minutes. The sound of bugs and owls made the sick Barry more fearful than dying. He felt as if something, or someone was watching them.

(Barry)"Wh-Why couldn't this guy be in a freaking hospital or something? This place is giving me the creeps!"

(Mawgona)"It's fine, I've lived in forest as a kid. Everything will be okay once we find the d-"

A branch they passed by suddenly snapped in two, causing Barry to scream.

(Barry)"M-M-Mawgona?! Someone's following us!"

(Mawgona)"What?"

(Barry)"I just saw that branch snap! You didn't step on it, and I sure as hell didn't!"

(???)"Once again, I have unwanted guests on my island..."

(Barry)"Wh-What the?!"

(Mawgona)"Who's there? Show yourself!"

(???)"I already have another pest wandering around, so I suggest you leave before becoming another addition to my...humble home."

(Mawgona)"My friend here is sick, and needs a doctor immediately! Just let us do that, and we'll-"

(???)"I'm afraid I can't let you take another step further. If you won't leave, then you'll stay here...as my next meal!"

As if he teleported, and man wearing black armor suddenly appeared in front of the two.

(Omega)"That's him!"

The man took out a sword, and chopped Mawgona's abdomen, which was imbued with Armament Haki at the last second.

(Mawgona)"Zai-Zai Harpoon!"

He turned his left arm into a long spikes, and shoved it straight through the man's stomach. It extended until it hit a tree, and their attacker went limp like a ragdoll.

(Barry)"Oh, thank God! He's dead now..."

To his shock, he started to walk towards them, seemingly with no pain.

(Barry)"Not dead! NOT DEAD!"

Another spike came up and stabbed him in the face. The man simply bent it backwards.

(Mawgona)"What the hell? Is this guy immortal?"

(???)"Don't be ridiculous, you fool...there's no such thing as a true immortal!"

(Omega)"I beg to differ."

(Mawgona)"Zai-Zai Gatling Gun!"

His arm retracted from this "man", and took the form of a multi-barrel machine gun. The bullets tore through the creature's body, severing both arms and half its face. After a full minute of uninterrupted gunfire, the beast finally fell to the ground.

(Mawgona)"That must have got it. No living creature could survive that many shots at point blank range for a minute straight."

(Barry)"Don't jinx yourself like I did!"

(???)"Too late..."

(Barry)"Mother of f*ck!!!"

Whatever this thing was stood right back up, and regenerate every damaged part of himself in seconds, even the armor repaired itself.

(Mawgona)"What in the name of Creation are you? I assume you consumed a Devil Fruit of some sort?"

(Vlad)"Oh no, child. What I possess cannot be achieved by simple fruit. I, Vlad the Impaler, am a True Vampire!"

(Barry)"V-Vampire? You mean, a bloodsucking creature of the night...? Mawgona, if I had the parts to do so, I would have pissed myself right about now."

(Omega)"Shadow Pirates don't have parts. They can eat, and drink, and definitely sleep, but it's all smooth down there. Not a hole or pole in sight."

(Mawgona)"A Vampire, I've heard of your kind. I know of one who's a king of his own nation, but nothing like you."

(Vlad)"Where I originate from, we are feared by all! You cannot hope to comprehend the magnitude of your meaningless existence! We can create, and destroy whatever we want! We! Are! Go-"

Mawgona clocked him right in the nose, so far being the only attack which visibly injured Vlad so far.

(Mawgona)"If you're a God, then make sure that your opponent can't move if you're making a speech."

(Vlad)"Ow! That one actually hurts! Ok, ok, I'll stop fighting you!"

(Mawgona)"Already? A minute ago you said you'd eat us."

(Vlad)"That was just a joke, alright?! I don't actually eat people, I just say that to scare people off this island!"

(Mawgona)"So those skulls on the beach are...?"

(Vlad)"They're just plastic toy skeletons, I haven't killed a single person."

(Barry)"So you're not a Vampire?"

(Vlad)"Oh, that part was true."

(Barry)"Ah..."

(Mawgona)"What are you doing here anyway?"

(Vlad)"I came to this island a few years ago to practice my skills without any interference. But recently, this guy with a bunch of swords showed up, and now he's trying to kill me. There's also this scientist with a odd-shaped head on the other side of the island, who came here before me."

(Mawgona)"Scientist? That's got to be the doctor!"

(Vlad)"How does a scientist equate to a doctor?"

(Barry)"Listen here, pal. I got puffer fish poison in my bloodstream, I'll take what I can get!"

(Mawgona)"Can you take us to him?"

(Vlad)"Sure, I feel like I should make it up to you. Since, I did try and kill you...my nose still hurts..."

(Barry)"Sucks to be you then."

He brought them to a dirt path, which they apparently missed just 30 yards to the right.

(Mawgona)"So, you've seen this doctor before I'm guessing. What is he like?"

(Vlad)"He's....it's not like he's evil, but...this man is indifferent to, well, pretty much everything. He never shows concern for any situation he's thrown in. I tried to scare him off when I first arrived, but he didn't even flinch."

(Mawgona)"He must have some kind of ability that protects him then."

(Vlad)"He's also got all these machines running around. The stuff he makes is at least a thousand years ahead of everything else."

(???)"An odd fellow, is he not?"

(Barry)"Son of a bitch, what now!? I'm paralyzed from waist down at the moment, and I'm not sure what kind of puffer fish poison can do that! Can ya just show your dumbass face before my eyes start bleeding or something equally painful?!"

In a puff a smoke, a strange masked man stood before them.

(???)"My, my...for a creature with no mouth, you certainly have a big one if you're willing to say such things to me..."

(Barry)"I survived getting shot by a cannon at point blank range last year, and still helped sink three Pirate ships, you learn to cast fear aside when you're slowly dying!"

(Mawgona)"I can feel negative energy radiating from you... You must be the man Vlad mentioned."

(Gahara)"That's correct. I am Gahara, a warrior born in a distant land, completely untouched by this 'World Government'. A mysterious force led me here to exterminate those who didn't belong in this realm. I had believed it was only the Vampire and that doctor, but you emit the same aura of them as well..."

(Vlad)"Mawgona, stand back. I'm going to take this guy down myself."

(Mawgona)"If you insist."

He created an iron stool and sat down a few feet away.

(Gahara)"Alright, I will fight you first. I won't even need to use all my weapons on you."

He drew a single blade from the back of his hip, then threw two shurikens at the vampire. He let them pass straight through his body, and the wounds began to regenerate.

(Gahara)"You shouldn't let your guard down at any moment, even if you can heal yourself!"

With seemingly the same speed as Vlad, he cut off the man's right arm, and impaled his stomach within seconds. The bleeding stump then transformed into what looked to be a dog with many eyes.

It bit into Gahara's shoulder, but he didn't seem to acknowledge it, as he proceeded to stick another shuriken in Vlad's stomach wound, which immediately exploded.

(Gahara)"I was told of many unique races in this land, but you are truly one of the most dangerous I've discovered, aside from the dragon man. Even so, you clearly don't Stan a chance against me."

(Vlad)"We'll see about tha-"

In the middle of his regeneration, the masked man threw a blue shuriken at his forehead, causing his entire "body" to freeze instantly.

(Gahara)"I'll finish you off later, the pink man is next."

(Mawgona)"Alright, then."

He set Barry down, and removed his coat.

(Gahara)"The Vampire was one thing, but I can feel a much greater power within you, your soul, to be exact. I can tell just by your expressionless face that you've ended hundreds of lives effortlessly."

(Mawgona)"I have, mostly the Marines."

(Gahara)"Yes, this military has thousands of strong warriors, a small majority having the power of cursed fruits from what I've heard. Which reminds me, the being responsible for bringing me hear gifted to me one such fruit, allow me to demonstrate!"

To Mawgona's shock, Gahara's body started to heavily alter. His torso extended, and a pair of gray arms sprouted. He then grabbed the other three blades, and his mask fell off to reveal four eyes.

(Gahara)"It was called the Double-Double Fruit, which allows me to creat a second pair of anything on, or within my body! Along with enhanced eyesight, I have mastered the art of 4-Sword Style!"

He swung two of the swords at Mawgona, who jumped at the last second. Just from the swing alone, it was fast enough to cut down an entire row of trees.

(Mawgona)"Zai-Zai Double Gatling!"

He turned both his arms into gun and fired at Gahara. The man spun all four blades, causing the bullets to bounce off and lodge themselves into various trees. The warrior charged towards Mawgona and slashed at him faster than before. It as so fast the the pink man couldn't use Haki in time, and so his metallic arms were cut down to the elbows.

(Mawgona)"Zai-Zai Double Harpoon!"

He attempted to impale Gahara, but with his extra eyes, he was able to see it coming, and he jumped out of the way.

(Omega)"Cuz that's how eyes work!"

(Gahara)"I already told you, I can see right through your ranged attacks!"

(Mawgona)"Is that so? Well then, there's only one way to beat a swordsman."

After restoring his arms, his eyes began to glow purple, and two cutlasses materialized in his hands.

(Mawgona)"I wasn't just trained as a brawler, you know."

(Gahara)"Then I expect you to be a worthy opponent!"

(Mawgona)"You won't be disappointed!"

He then clashed with Gahara, sparks and cloth flew across the dirt path as they now matched each other in terms of speed. Mawgona's blade was plunged into Gahara's neck, but he still kept going.

(Mawgona)"How is it that you don't express pain?"

(Gahara)"The man who trained me also give me vast knowledge on the functions in my body! By striking specific pressure points, I can shut down my pain receptors!"

(Mawgona)"So you have the same fighting style as me...how strange. But that doesn't matter, because I now have a strategy to defeat you!"

(Gahara)"You're a quick thinker, show me what you got, then!"

Mawgona straightened his arms, and began spinning like a top. The warrior used his swords as a shield, as Mawgona spun towards him.

(Gahara)"THIS is you strategy?! What a fool!"

But he didn't take in to considering the sparks flying, and the multiple leaves and branches caught fire. With his spinning motion, Mawgona was now a tornado of flame.

(Mawgona)"Zai-Zai Fire Spin!"

Using the intense heat, all four of Gahara's swords were cut in two.

(Gahara)"What the?!"

He was in utter shock by Mawgona's insanely dangerous technique, and that's what sealed his fate. Mawgona delivered a red hot slash across his chest, then dropped his swords. As the finishing blow, he made several indentions into Gahara's chest in the shape of a cross, sending him flying into a large boulder.

(Gahara)"Ugh...the pain...it's...fading?"

Suddenly, his extra arms and eyes blew right off his body, yet he didn't feel that either. While he was getting his, he could feel that his nerves had been reactivated, but why is the pain gone now?

(Mawgona)"Your body has begun to die, you will be in the next world shortly."

(Gahara)"Then, if I'm truly going to die...there's s-something I must say... I have actually been sent her to test you, by the man who you also learned martial arts from..."

(Mawgona)"Is that true? What is he testing me for?"

(Gahara)"T-To see if you truly ready to begin your journey... And you know what, you have passed. Do not ask why he wanted you to kill me, for I do not know myself, but I must say, I am happy to fall by your hands...you were definitely my greatest opponent, farewell..."

And with that, his body was utterly vaporized from the inside.

(Mawgona)"Who knew it would end this way? Well, time to get back on track."

He put his coat back on, picked up Barry, and removed the shuriken from Vlad's forehead.

(Vlad)"...that you mask-wearing cow...where is he?"

(Barry)"Mawgona killed him."

(Vlad)"Oh...that's, great."

(12 minutes later)

The three stopped at a square, metallic building.

(Vlad)"There it is, the doctor's lab. Now, I should get going, the sun's going to rise any minute now."

(Mawgona)"Vlad, I was wondering, what did he mean by you not being of this realm?"

(Vlad)"Uh, you see, it's difficult to explain. Let's just say I made an arrangement for somebody."

(Mawgona)"I'm not sure what that means, but it's not really important anyway. See you later, then."

(Vlad)"We may meet again, or not, it really doesn't matter..."

With that cryptic sentence, he wandered back into the forest. Mawgona knocked on the door, and after a few moments, a strange looking man with cyan skin opened it.

(Dr. Proton)"Oh, hello, I am Dr. Proton."

(Mawgona)"I need your help, I heard you were a doctor. My friend here has been poisoned, and it's getting worse."

(Barry)"Well, nothing hurts anymore, but I think my body's gone completely numb."

(Dr. Proton)"I see. Bring him inside, I have something for poison."

He did so, and was a bit... awestruck from what he saw. Bits and pieces of odd technology was nearly on every wall. There was some type of screen with math equations, and test tubes near a large table.

(Mawgona)"Vlad was right, you seem very advanced for this time."

(Dr. Proton)*Rummaging through a box* "That Vampire man? Oh yes, many people say the same thing, it amazes them whenever I show them my newest inventions. Ah! Here it is."

He found a vile of orange liquid, placed it into a syringe, and injection it into Barry's arm, and within a few seconds he got a sudden burst of energy.

(Barry)"Whoa! I feel fantastic, better than I have my entire life!"

(Dr. Proton)"I perfected that detoxification serum two weeks ago, thanks to the plant life here. It's eliminated literally every harmful bacteria and substance from your body."

(Mawgona)"Thank you, Proton. I was wondering, I'm currently looking for new members for my Pirate crew, would you like to join?"

(Dr. Proton)"I'd just love to go out and pillage towns, but I'm just so terribly busy nowadays. But, I can give you a two for one offer."

(Mawgona)"What do you mean?"

(Dr. Proton)"Last year, three people came by this island, for medical supplies, for one of them is a doctor. They said they were going to be searching for a crew to join, and they would be in Loguetown until they find one. I'll give them a call if you're interested."

(Mawgona)"That sounds good to me, thank you once again for helping my friend."

(Dr. Proton)"It's the Doctor's code to help those in need of assistance. Goodbye now, have fun with your piracy."

As the two left nearly as fast as they came in, Proton waited until he couldn't hear footsteps anymore before saying,

(Dr. Proton)"...Oh Mawgona, you've grown up into a fine warrior. Your father would be so proud."
