As the flames raged on, Chouchou barked at the shop, tears in his eyes. Richie was eating a bag of dog food, reconfirming what Mawgona already knew.

(Mawgona)"Y-You monster!"

(Mohji)"What? Didn't I just kill you a minute ago!?"

(Mawgona)"That store was all that Chouchou had left! How dare you burn it down!?"

(Mohji)"Who cares about a stupid store?! We're gonna torch the rest of this stupid village, and you're first in line!"

The lion charged at Mawgona, and with a piercing glare, the beast fell unconscious.

(Mohji)"Wh-What did you do to Richie!?"

(Mawgona)"Conquest Haki. If you relied on your own power than other's, you might be able to learn it. But it's clear to me that you are nothing but a coward!"

(Mohji)"Hey, l-let's not do anything rash!"

(Mawgona)"You started this fight, now I'm going to finish it!"

(Mohji)"W-Wait! I'm sor-"

Before he could speak for a second longer, Mawgona clocked him square in the face.

(Mawgona)"Don't apologize, it won't bring the store back..."

The fire was gone, but the damage was done. The shop laid there in ruins, as it's guardian sat there with his blank expression. Suddenly, a slightly burnt bag of dog food was placed in front of him.

(Mawgona)"This was all I could find. For a small dog, you fought well against the Pirates, but let me take care of the rest, alright."

(Chouchou)"...Woof!"

(Mawgona)"You be strong, too."

He picked up the bag, and went off to the shelter on the outskirts of town.

(Mawgona)"Now, time to get you out of that cage."

(Zant)"How? You don't have the key."

(Mawgona)"Don't need it."

With ease, he bent the steel bars aside like they were clay.

(Zant)"Whoa! Just how strong are you?!"

(Mawgona)"Very."

(???)"You may have beaten Mohji, but you won't have an easy time with me."

A man wielding a cutlass on a unicycle rolled up.

He also had a pair of black katanas on his back.

(Mawgona)"Another one of Buggy's crew?"

(Zant)"That's Cabaji, the guy who took my swords!"

(Cabaji)"I am Cabaji the Acrobat, Buggy's strongest swordsmen! You've really humiliated us, and for that, your life is forfeit!"

(Mawgona)"If Buggy is so mad, he should be the one to face me."

(Cabaji)"Captain Buggy doesn't have to waste his time with small fries like you! Arsonist's Trick!"

He got close to Mawgona, then blew fire in his face. Just as the pink man dodged, he was kicked in the wound Buggy caused earlier, sending more pain through his body.

(Nami)"What a dirty bastard, striking Mawgona's injury!"

(Cabaji)"I didn't hit you that hard, did I? Murder Mist Trick!"

He struck the ground, and threw dust in the surrounding area.

(Mawgona)"Is that all you can d-ACK!"

Before the dust settled, Cabaji hit the stab wound yet again, sending Mawgona to the ground.

(Cabaji)"What's the matter? You looked better when you fought Mohji!"

(Mawgona)"Argh, I guess none of you like to fight fairly!"

(Cabaji)"You know, I have heard of you before today. Captain of the Dark Soul Pirates. You may have a slightly higher bounty, but making enemies with the Buggy Pirates was your last mistake!"

(Cabaji)"Now go to the next world!"

He went for the killing blow, but suddenly, Mawgona blocked with his left arm. The blade didn't even draw blood, confusing everyone.

(Cabaji)"What the hell?! Your arm is all black!"

(Mawgona)"This is Armament Haki. When using it, my skin is almost indestructible!"

(Cabaji)"Then I'll ju-"

This time, he was kicked in the side, throwing him off his unicycle.

(Mawgona)"Not this time."

He then struck a certain spot in his rib, and he suddenly didn't look like he was in pain.

(Mawgona)"I just temporarily shut down my pain receptors, your trick won't work anymore."

(Cabaji)"No matter, I'll use my true sword skills then!"

He ran at Mawgona, sword in hand. Just before it struck the pirate, Cabaji was punched right between the eyes, knocking him out.

(Mawgona)"You people should stick to being circus performers."

He took the katanas, and returned them to their rightful owner.

(Mawgona)"Here are your swords."

(Zant)"Great, now we're back in business!"

(Mawgona)"Too bad they won't work on Buggy. You'll have to leave him to me."

(Boodle)"Just you?! You can't, he's too powerful!"

(Mawgona)"I have no other choice. But after some thinking, I have a plan."

(The Ruined Bar(Some of it was caught in the blast))

(Mawgona)"Buggy! Your strongest men have been defeated! Now you'll have to fight me!"

(Buggy)"You defeated Mohji AND Cabaji?! Just who the hell are you?!"

(Mawgona)"I'll say it once more. Mawgona, Captain of the Dark Soul Pirates, and the next Pirate King."

(Buggy)"Hah! If you're the next Pirate King, then I'm God! Listen here, there can only be one Pirate King, and it's sure as hell not gonna be you! I'll be certain that you never get close to becoming one!"

He got out his daggers, and shot his right arm out at Mawgona.

(Buggy)"Bara-Bara Cannon!"

The pink man caught the arm, and just barely dodged when the hand popped off, suffering a small cut on his cheek.

(Mawgona)"Is cheating the only thing you know how to do?"

(Buggy)"It's not cheating if there's no rules!"

For what seemed like forever, the two exchanged blows every chance that they got. Unfortunately for Buggy, any part that separates from him can still be injured, and since he didn't know Haki, it was looking bad for the clown.

(Buggy)"That's it! Time for my ultimate move, FESTIVAL!"

He separated every part of his body, and they all flew around Mawgona. It was at this time that his pain receptors were functioning again, as he could feel the knives cutting his arms and legs.

(Buggy)"How's that?! Can't hit me now!"

(Mawgona)"...Hehehe..."

(Buggy)"What's so funny?"

(Mawgona)"It's time! Shadow Pirate Trio, get him!"

From atop a building, the SP Trio, wielding mallets, jumped down and began to pummel Buggy's severed head and arms.

(Buggy)"Ow! Hey, cut it out!"

Surprisingly, he managed to knock them back.

(Buggy)"Body parts, reassemble!"

He decided to reform, but noticed that he was shorter, a lot shorter.

(Buggy)"What the?! What happened to me?!"

(Mawgona)"While you were distracted, the rest of your body was restrained. There they are."

In the distance, Nami had tied up Buggy's torso, arms and legs.

(Mawgona)"Now, time to wrap this up!"

(Buggy)"W-Wait! This can't be happing!"

With all his strength, Mawgona kicked "Chibi Buggy" off the island like a soccer ball.

(Buggy)"I'LL GET MY REVENGE!"

And just like that, he was out of sight.

(Barry)"Another victory for the Dark Soul Pirates!"

(Boodle)"I, I can't believe it! You actually beat the Pirates!"

(Mawgona)"I don't allow guys like him to hurt innocent people, no matter how strong they might be."

(Boodle)"Mawgona, even though you are a Pirate, you have my gratitude for saving my town. We will never forget what you've done here today!"

(Mawgona)"Your welcome. Now, Zant, have you made your decision yet."

(Zant)"From what I've seen, how could I refuse. I'll join your crew!"

(Mawgona)"I'm glad to hear that. And what about you, Nami? What will you do now?"

(Nami)"If I stick with you guys, I'll get a hundred million in no time! I think I'll accompany you a little longer!"

(Mawgona)"Then it's off to the next island."

So after saying their goodbyes, they sailed off for their next crew member.
