Regina's POV

It's been one hour of nothing but screaming from the other side of the wall. Just what is he doing to that innocent girl. More importantly, how am I going to get out of here.

I looked around to see if there was any sharp object near me. Why does this place look so familiar? I ignored it and kept on looking.

Luckily there was an oil lamp which it isn't lit. It was near me so I extend my leg and try to break it. It broke and I got the shard near me.

This is the hard part. I had to get that shard in my hand but my hands are tied together. I stood up and moved to the opposite direction on where the shard is. I sat down and tried get the shard with my hands.

I successfully got it and started working on the ropes in my hands. After a few moments, my hand was finally free and I will be able to get out of here.

Just when I was about to take a step on the stairs, a hand was placed on my shoulder and I shuddered on what's about to happen next.

I turned around and saw Midnight wide awake and has the looks that could kill.

"I'm not letting you leave." he said coldly.

I removed his hand on my shoulder and ran up the stairs.

"Hmph, troublesome girl." I heard him say. Then he was now in front of me. How did he do that?!

(A/N: He can teleport remember? During the Nirvana arc when he confronts Lucy and the others.)

He then pushed me and I lost footing and fell down the stairs. I landed on the broken oil lamp which the shards dug in my skin.

"Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!" I screamed in pain.

"You're agony is music to my ears." I heard him say.

I stood up with shaky legs but I fainted after Midnight's next attack.

"Spiral Pain!"

And I fell down to my knees and loose consciousness

Nami's POV

What are we gonna do?! Regina-san is missing. We don't have a clue on where she is and what's happening to her.

"Does anyone have any idea on where they would take Regina?!" Jerome said. He was dead serious. It is explainable. She is the youngest in the family. And he was the eldest brother. Of course he would be serious about this.

"We don't actually have any idea." Chopper said.

"Then we have to look around the whole town. If they kill her then we lose. We can't sit back and relax."

"I agree. And we made a promise. And I don't want to lose one of my future comrades." Luffy said.

"Right. And she's the only one who can bring us back to our world." Robin said.

"O-oi minna! L-look at the book!" Chopper said in fear. The book? Right! The one the Regina-san bought.

We all looked at the book and noticed that it was floating and the pages we're flipping by themselves. The book looked a little torn up for some reason. It stopped on an empty page and it was dropped on the table that it was on. Then a pen was floating in the air and it went directly to the book. The pen start writing on it as if a ghost is writing on it.

'My little Regina has been captured by these horrible people. And now she is being tortured.' A voice said.

"S-scary!!!" Chopper said hiding behind Robin.

"Where is that voice coming from?!" Luffy exclaimed.

"That voice..." Jerome said.

"It can't be." Angelica said.

"Do you know who's voice is it?" I asked.

"Of course we know it. It's....."

"Our mom's voice." the two siblings said in unison.

Regina's POV

I woke up and the first thing that I felt was pain. I started on recall on what happened. Then I remembered Midnight bringing pain to me just when I was about to escape.

I looked up and saw that my hands are tied to the pole once again. But then I realized that not only my hands are tied, but my whole body is. My waist and legs were tied to the pole too. Now I don't have an escape anymore.

"So you're awake. I bet you are wise enough not to escape again." I heard a voice said.

I looked up and saw that it was my captor.

"Who are you exactly?!" I asked.

"You already know who I am. I'm Ventur." he said.

"W-what?! Don't talk crazy! You-"

"Don't look like him?" he finished my sentence. "Unfortunately, I can change my appearance as simple as that."

He then transformed into the Ventur that I first saw before.

"So sad that you're friends don't know where you are. It's simply impossible when it comes to finding me."

No. If my friends can't find me, then I'll never be free.

"What are you doing to that innocent girl at the other side of the wall?!" I asked.

"Punishing her of course. Why not? She is connected with the book."

"What do you mean by that?"

"It's simple. When she was born, the book was born too. The two has a strong link. And only she can find the book."

"You already know where it is. What's the point on asking her that question when you know it's with my friends."

"I'm making an excuse."

"Excuse?"

"Meaning that I'm punishing her not because of the book, but to tear that book bit by bit. So your friends can never get clues. Since she was born with the book, it doesn't mean that if she disappear, the book wouldn't. It's simple as that."

I can't believe this. That monster! But I had one more question.

"Where is my mom?" I asked.

"Ah yes. You're mommy. I have sad news. She's dead."

W-what did he just say? My mom is..........................dead?

"Y-you k-killed her?" I stuttered.

"Yes. But don't worry. She's relief that her suffering is over from all the tortures I gave her day and night."

"YOU ANIMAL!!!!!! IS THIS HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE!!!! LIKE THEY ARE SOME PIECE OF TRASH???!!!!!" I shouted as tears started to roll down my cheeks. He punched me right across the face.

"Shut up. I don't like people who thinks they can talk all high and mighty to me. Midnight. Punish her." he said as he went upstairs.

"With pleasure."

Help me. Luffy. Mom. Everyone. I don't want to be in this hell forever.

Help.

Jerome's POV

I can't believe that we're hearing mom's voice right now. But where is she.

'Now that I'm no longer alive, I can't think of anything but worry about my children.'

"W-what?" I said.

"No longer..." Sanji said.

"Alive?" Zoro said.

"This can't be. Mom is. Dead?" Angelica said.

"No. No. No. No. No. NO!!!!! I DON'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!" I shouted. Tears are starting to roll down my cheeks as well as my sister.

"We're too late. We couldn't save their mother." Nami said.

"THAT JERK!!!" Lucy shouted with his eyes full of rage.

The pen stopped writing and it was placed down. Is she gone?

'My child?' I heard a voice said.

"Mom? If that's really you, then I'm so sorry for not saving you in time." I said.

'It's alright. I'm still with you. My spirit refuses to leave this world without saving Regina and knowing that my family is safe. I will guide you until all of this is over.'

"It's kinda like the Merry Go." Ussop said.

"Yeah. It kinda is." Nami agreed.

'I know where she is.'

"You mean Regina-san?" Robin asked.

'Yes. She is at our old house. It's abandoned but it's still sturdy. It's good enough for them to use it as a hide out.'

"That's great. We'll go know." Luffy said. "We are gonna win this battle. Wait for us. Regina!!!"

Again I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry for not updating last Monday. But I hope that you're happy now. I will do as the schedule says on Friday.
