Cracker x dancer!reader

The music blaring in the streets was enough to attract the Charlotte family to a small desolate town under their protection. Bold lights and decorations flood the streets. Laughter and joyful yelling were askew through the crowd of people. One big circle was clear on the wide road. A lot of different-styled people were dancing in the circle. The tall blonde man watched curiously. The small group occupying the circle finally stepped out. A short fat man had made his way into the center. "Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for coming to another music festival! We have successfully had this festival for 10 years because of all of your hard work! Now, for the most exciting part, our main attraction give them a round of applause!" A figure jumps from a rooftop, catching the man's attention. Landing in the middle of the circle, they jump a few times waving their arms up and down, trying to entice the crowd. Loud cheers erupted from the townspeople. The sweater they wore exposed their shoulders showing some weird black netted circles on them. "Yall ready for this?!" They yelled excitedly. Cheers broke out even louder. A loud base and music blurred from somewhere, but not from the band.

A bunch of people appeared behind the figure. Everyone has the same clothing but in different colors. Throwing their arms up and clasping their hands together in the shape of a triangle. A loud series of music starts playing, the crowd growing excited.

The group finally finishes their dance routine the crowd emitting a loud uproar of cheers and applause. The young woman leads a bow smiling proudly the mayor of the town walks up to the woman microphone in hand. "That was fantastic! Even better than last year's (Y/N), how do you guys keep getting better?" He holds the microphone to her, her smile softening. "It's easy when my team is fantastic. This year we lost one of our friends and we had to give it our all for her. It's always been a team effort however this year we had a fire in our hearts and we were ready to blow your minds!" The mayor smiles proudly. "That's what our village is always been about. I'm proud to see our younger generation share that pride." He wipes away a tear that slipped out of his eyes. "We have some special guests that have graced your wonderful presentation. Introducing the Charlotte family thank you folks for coming to our small town during such a joyous time!" Everyone claps and cheers showering the family in praise. "It is sad to say our entertainment is over but you should all enjoy the festivities we have been supplied with our strongest ales and the best meats for tonight. So drink, eat, and be safe everyone!" The mayor shakes the girl's hand bidding her adew. Her group dispersed to go hang out with family and friends leaving her alone amidst the crowd. She stands by the woodline admiring people partying with big smiles on their faces. "Why aren't you out there with everyone else?" An unfamiliar voice said behind her. Her head turned to the noise, "I danced enough and partied enough for everyone." The man comes closer now at her side. An odd fashion adorning him, wearing a cape that lays on on shoulder. His pants had what looked like crackers hanging off them. It seems like he likes the colors pink and purple a lot. His hair is an even bigger commodity, one section pointing straight up while two separate sections are facing opposite ways the ends both on fire. He chuckles his voice ruggish. "That seems to add up, that was an impressive show. Do that often?" "Every year here, but I do travel to share this art. Are you aware your hair is on fire?" He smiles and shrugs. "Do you take jobs?" This has picked up her interest, business has been slower her pockets lacking in funding. "Depends most people can barely pay what we charge. Considering your half nude I am not sure you have what it takes." She smirks and giggles at her embarrassing attempt to flirt with the stranger. "I promise I can pay more than enough. There is a party that is being held in my brother's honor I'd love to see you preform again and continue this conversation." He hands her a card with the information and another folded slip of paper. "I'd love to." She places both papers in her pocket. Looking up to ask the man's name she notices he's gone. Wherever he went hopefully she could see him again.
