After 3 months

Neil

     Finally I got what I wanted. I have a home now. It took little time , but it's ok, it worth it. Tomorrow is my Barbie doll's birthday and thank to God that I got it before her birthday. I always wanted to gift her a home on her birthday. I haven't tell are anything about home. It's a surprise for her, only Neela maa know about it besides me.

    I quit my job 3 months bacm when I got a better one and the most happiest person is my Avu. She thoughts that my previous boss work me too much, which is not completely wrong, so now she is happy with this one.

" Neil sari taiyari ho gayi hai na " Neela maa whispered in my ear as Avu is sitting infront of us.

" Han Neela maa sab ho gaya hai bas Avu so jaye phir hum decoration karenge " I whispered back. She nods.

" Thik hai aur cake kahan hai " she asked.

" Ali ke ghar main rakha hai kyun ki aap toh jante ho Avu ki smelling power kuch zyda hi hai " Neela maa chuckled. I hides chocolates and sweets from her as she eats to much sweet but she always finds it, God knows how ?

" Kya kar rehe ho aao dono han " Avu asked. We straighten our back and looks everywhere  but her.

" Hum...kab...nehi toh " Neela said trembling. She narrowed her brows and looked at me. I gulped.

" Kya hua Avu " I asked innocently.

" Sach batao tillu kya khichdi paka rehe ho aap dono " she asked raising her brows.

" Kuch bhi toh nehi " I smiled nervously. " Mujhe bahut nind aarehi hai kal baat karte hain han good night Avu, good night Neela maa " I said and covered my body with a blanket fully. I sighed.

" Han Avni mujhe bhi nind aarehi hai chalo jaldi so jate hain " I heard Neela maa said. Avu must be thinking that how we can sleep before her as she sleeps earlier then us everyday.

                                     *

" Kya yaar Ali tujhse ek kam dhang se nehi hota tune happy birthday ko ulta lagaya hai " Riya said little loudly.

" Shhh...are dhire bolo warna Avu uth jayegi " I whispered. Avu is sleeping peacefully and we are decorating the room with balloons.

     I placed the cake on a table and lights the candles.

" Chalo 1 2 3..."  Everyone was about to scream but I stopped them

" Main sabse pehele wish karunga " I said and they rolled their eyes.

" Han tu karle jo bhi karna hai hum agle saal kar lenge don't worry " DD  taunts. I gave him a ' I don't care ' look.

" Kyun paresan kar rehe ho use tum sab jante toh ho ki Avni ko har saal sabse pehele Neil hi wish karta hai " Neela maa said. I smiled. Yes I always wished her first on her birthday and will always be.  I sat near her on bed.

" Happy birthday my Barbie doll " I said and kissed her forehead.

" Happy birthday Avni " all shouted making her woke up with a jerk. She looked at me. I smiles

" Happy birthday Avu " she smile widely and hugged me. I hugged her back. " Thank you tillu " she whispered.

   We broke the hug and she looked around. Everyone wished her one by one. Avu touched Neela maa's feet and took her blessings. 

" Ab cake kato yaar mujhse wait nehi horaha " Ali sais looking at cake. His first love is food.

   Avni cuts the cake and feeds me first. I feeds her too and then everyone digs into it.

" Tillu mera gift " Avu asked excitedly.

" Wo toh tumhe abhi nehi milega Avu subah milega " I said. Can't wait to take her to ' our home '.

" Nehi mujhe abhi chahiye " she demands.

" Avu main abhi nehi de sakta wo gift " I said holding her shoulder.

" Asa kya hai jo abhi nehi de satke " She asked crossing her arms over her chest.

" Bachcha kal subah pata chal jayega "  Neela maa said.

" Mujhse koi nehi pyar karta " she said and sat on bed with a dull face.

" Avu.... " Neela maa stopped me

" Are wo natak kar rehi hai tu kya janta nehi use " Neela maa said. But still I can't see her upset and that to on her birthday.

" Tillu please "  Avu made a puppy face and looked at me with pleading eyes. I looked at Neela maa and shook her head negatively.

" Avni gift toh kal subah hi milegi ab so jao "  Neela maa said. She made an angry pout and then layed on bed covering her body with blanket. Hope she like my gift.

Avni

  
" Avu utho...Avu " I heard tillu's voice. He is shaking my shoulder. I'm sleepy please let me sleep tillu. Tillu pulled my blanket. 

" Tillu please let me sleep na " I again covered me with blanket.

" Avu aaj tera birthday hai aaj toh jaldi uth ja aur tujhe tujhe gift nehi chahiye kya " today is my birthday yehhh. I threw the blanket and sat up on bed smiling.

" Tillu my gift " I forwards my hand. I'm so excited. What he will give me ?

" Gift chahiye toh pehele jake taiyar hoja " God, I'm not gonna wait more.

" Mujhe abhi chahiye " I said glaring at him and puts my hands on my waist.

" Par gift yahan nehi aasakta hume gift ke pass jana padega " he said removing my hands from my waist. What he is gifting me ?

" Tumne pehele hi pehele bahut wait karwa liya hai tillu agar gift pasand nehi aayi toh dekh lena " I warned him. He gulped and then smiled nervously. I got up from  bed and went inside bathroom.

                                    *

Avni

" Ab akhen kholun "  I asked as I'm blindfolded. Tillu blindfolded me when we sat inside a texi to go don't know where, he didn't tell me.

" Not now " he said and picked me in his arms.

" Tillu..."

" Shhh....I'm taking you to your gift " he said. I nods. He walks and then entered inside a lift I guess.  After few minutes he again started walking. He stopped and stood me on me feet properly. He removed the blindfold.

" Now open your eyes " he whispered near my ear. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a door in front of me. I looked around, we are in a building and standing outside of a apartment. Why we came here and whose it is ?

" Tillu hum yahan kyun aayeh hain aur yeh kiska ghar hai "  I asked him as I didn't understand anything.

   He hugged me from behind and held my right hand. He took my right hand and placed it on Name plate covering it our palms. He slides our hands and I saw the name plate, it has written "Avneil " on it. It our name Avni + Neil = Avneil. But why it is written on this name plate. The name plate has owner name, right ? But tillu said he is talking me to my gift that means..... That means this is my gift. Oh God is this real or I'm dreaming ?

" This is real Avu, this is your gift, this is ' our home ' " I turned to him. Our eyes are moist. Only we can understand what it means to us. We have our own home now. Our home.

" This is the best and most precious gift for me " I hugged him tightly and whispered in his ears. " Thank you " I cried couldn't controlling my emotions. He rubs my back.

    We heard some sounds. We broke our hug and looked towards the door. It's coming inside. How is that possible ?

" Hamare ghar ke andar kon hai chhodungi nehi main use.. himmat kese hui hamare ghar main ghusne ki " I said angrily rolling up my full sleeves top.

" Avu andar Neela maa aur Ali, Riya, DD , Sunheri sab hain " I sighed in relief.

" Toh hum yahan bahar kya kar rehe hain andar chalo mujhse wait nehi horaha hamare ghar dekhne ke liye " I said bouncing. Finally we have our own home and I can't wait to see it from inside. Tillu smiled on my excitement and unlocked the door.
